Ji Hyo's POV

I ran as Jong Kook chased me from behind in the amusement park. 

But soon, I was caught by Jong Kook since Jong Kook was a better runner than me. 

He hugged me from behind tightly. "Jagiya, gotcha!" He said as he embraced me and was not willing to let go. 

"Jagiya, people are watching." I whispered to Jong Kook as there were some people turning to look at us but they seemed not to recognise us as we were in our shades. 

Jong Kook reluctantly let go. He pouted, saying"Jagiya... Would you rather hug the teddy bear compared to me?" 

"Aigoo. You are jealous over a bear, is it?" I replied as I pinched his slightly red cheeks. 

Jong Kook nodded. 

Then I replied,"Then I would rather hug you, a tiger instead." 

Jong Kook broke into a bright smile. Our hands were interlocked as we continued having fun in the amusement park...

Our second destination for the date today was the N Seoul tower. I did not expect that Jong Kook wanted to come here, where every couple would always visit. We came here before during running man filming previously, but today, we were here as a couple. 

It was night time already and the scenery was breathtaking as we took the cable car up the Namsan mountain.

I held Jong Kook's hands as we stood at a corner in the cable car. Looking at the scenery, I whispered to him,"Thank you oppa. I am very happy today." 

He replied,"I am too." 

Soon, we reached the top. We walked to the N Seoul Tower and went to the roof terrace at the highest floor of the N Seoul tower. "Wow!" I gasped, as I enjoyed the panoramic night views of the city. Jong Kook was equally awe-struck as well. 

We both bought a padlock and were decorating it with words at a secluded spot.

"Kim Jong Kook ♡ Song Ji Hyo" The padlock was finally done after I wrote and drew in a picture of a tiger and a lion, which signified us. 

As I opened the lock wanting to attach it to the fence, Jong Kook stopped me as he grabbed my hands. 

"Ji Hyo ah. Before you put on the lock, I just want to tell you something." Jong Kook told me with a serious face. 

I froze on the spot, anticipating what Jong Kook wanted to tell me. 

"Ji Hyo ah, I know that you have done a lot for me. I have already known everything." Jong Kook started. 

"Everything?" I was surprised since I thought that he wouldn't know it since I did not reveal what happened during the meeting with Chang Joo. 

"Yes, everything." Jong Kook said. 

"And I want to tell you that I am thankful for your decision." Jong Kook continued. 

"Oppa..."I did not know what to say. 

"Ji Hyo, just keep in mind that I will be by your side forever and ever. I will protect you when you need me too. Saranghae, Song Ji Hyo." Jong Kook confessed to me.

Jong Kook has never said the three words, "I love you" before to anyone including me before. As mentioned in a interview, this was as he felt that it was ironic when someone say these three words to his girlfriend and the couple breaks up. Hence, these three words would seem meaningless. 

But, today, he has said these three words to me and he has proven how much he cares for me...

I was touched by Jong Kook's confession that I could not help but tear. But these tears were tears of happiness, tears of joyfulness.

Jong Kook whispered,"Jagiya, don't cry." He comforted me as he wiped my tears off. 

I then whispered back," Kim Jong Kook, I love you and I am thankful for having you by my side." 

Jong Kook smiled. He wrapped his arms around my waist tightly and suddenly he closed in. My heart raced as our lips pressed on each other. We were standing so close that I can feel Jong Kook's heartbeat going thump thump thump rapidly. 

I closed my eyes. It seemed as if the whole world has disappeared, except the two of us standing on the top of the world on the N Seoul tower.
