Beep beep

Hakyung woke up and reached for her beeping mobile sleepily. It was 8.30pm when she woke. She saw a new message from Jaeyoung and squealed when she read the text.

She smiled at the picture and hopped out of bed. She fumbled with her dress as she wrote back a reply.

Oh my god! I’m going to go get ready now~

Sehun stirred in his sleep and draped his arm over his eyes. He grabbed a pillow and hugged it to himself with his other arm.

“Hmm,” he groaned when he heard Hakyung opening the cupboard door. “Where are you going” He asked, his voice thick with sleep.

“I’m meeting Jaeyoung.” She replied and dialled on her mobile.

He nodded with his eyes close and flipped the other way. He was about to drift off to sleep when he heard her talk on the phone.

“Hello, Jae? Oppa’s back?”

His eyes snapped open.

“Oppa?”

“Where are you guys?”

He sat up and strained his ears to listen clearer.

“I’ll be out in 5 minutes, wait for me.”

Sehun got out of bed and walked towards the toilet and he could hear a man’s voice blaring from the phone.

“Baby girl!”

“Baby girl?!”

“Oppa!”

“OPPA?!” He hissed under his breath.

“I miss you so much, come out for coffee?”

“I can’t drink coffee now, but I can come out. See you in a few!”

“Eo~ Yidabwa aegi!” (See you later, baby!)

Sehun was thinking to himself so deeply, he didn’t realise that Hakyung had already exited the toilet and walking past him. It was when she was getting her purse when he snapped out of his trance.

“Where are you going?” He grabbed her arm.

She spun around in shock and looked at him in confusion.

“I’m going to look for Jae. Why?”

Sehun ruffled his hair and held her bag.

“I’ll go with you.”

He strolled out of the room straight away.

“Oppa! You didn’t change! Sehun, you’re in your pyjamas.” She called out after him.

He came running back and grabbed some clothes nearby, then he rushed into the bathroom to have a quick wash up.

“Let’s go.” He came out 5 minutes later.

Hakyung had her hand on her little bump as she rubbed circles on her belly.

Sehun drove Hakyung to the café Jaeyoung and Chansung were.

“Why do you look so excited?” He asked her and she just smiled dreamily at him.

“I’m meeting someone today!”

He was really curious but didn’t probe further.

They stopped outside the café. Hakyung wanted to step out of the car, but Sehun held her back.

“Let’s go in together.”

“Don’t be silly.” She smiled. “It’s Jae. I’ll be fine. Go get the car parked and I’ll see you inside.” She pecked his cheek before stepping out.

He watched her enter the café before speeding off to quickly find a parking lot.

“Oppa!” She called and Chansung stood up.

“Hey babycakes!” He cooed and spread his arms.

She went straight into his embrace as he wrapped his protective arms around her. He swayed them softly as she listened to his heartbeat.

Chansung pecked the side of her forehead before releasing her.

“Come sit down.”

He guided her to her seat and she glanced around.

“Where’s Jae?”

“Oh she left, went to find a certain Kim Jongin.”

She grinned.

“I missed you so much babycakes.” Chansung smiled.

“I know! I missed you too!”

“And…” He started. “The little one in you, how far along?” He asked.

Hakyung looked at him in shock and her hand flew to her belly.

“How did you know?”

He gave her a knowing look and she shook her head.

“Jae.”

He nodded.

“So how far along?”

“Coming 9 weeks.” She smiled.

“And your husband?”

“He’s coming.” She looked out of the café and saw Sehun coming towards the store. “There he is.”

Chansung looked up and smirked to himself.

“Hey baby,” Sehun stepped in and intentionally emphasized on the endearment.

“Sit down, here.” She said and patted the seat next to her.

Chansung watched Sehun from the moment he stepped into the coffee house, to the moment he settled down beside Hakyung.

“Let me introduce to you,” Hakyung started and smiled at Chansung. “Oppa, this is Sehun. Sehun, this is Chansung.”
