Dare To LoveChapter 1
It was a regular day in high school. Hakyung was in the bus alone, with her earphones plugged into her ear, her music blocking the usual noise on the bus out. Magnetic by GOT7 was playing in her current playlist and she bopped her head according to the beat.
Naege wajwoyo you’re so magnetic~
Modeun ge da kkeullyeo naega jakku heundeullyeo~
Jeomjeom ppajyeoyo you’re so fantastic~
Neol gatneun ge nae kkum naui seontaegui kkeut
Hakyung lip synced to the lyrics as the bus rolled on. The bus stopped at the next stop and more students boarded the bus. “Hey Hakyung!” Most of them greeted when they noticed the girl sitting alone in the previously empty bus.
Hakyung sighed inwardly and then flashed her brightest smile at those students. “Hey!” She greeted back and the bus started moving again. It was an everyday experience for Hakyung. Every single day, she had to put on a smile.
It’s not that she hated smiling.
It’s not that she hated being happy.
It was because if she didn’t smile, people would ask her if she was alright, and it irritates her.
She was and still is a very cheerful girl, a happy-go-lucky one. There isn’t one day she wasn’t smiling, and people just took that for granted.
They took her smile for granted.
So whenever schoolmates don’t see their friend smile, they would automatically assume that she was upset. She thought about this matters all the time and she would get too caught up with thinking about it.
