"Yah!! Your hands are bleeding already!!

"Taetae!"

The sound of Tiffany's voice finally stopped the small girl from punching the lights out of the man who is now seen beneath her, his body pinned to the ground by Taeyeon's knees that were on top it. His face was distorted, no doubt by the constant hard punches, he'd been receiving from the girl who had gone berserk and lunged herself at him, pushing him to the ground and shoving Tiffany towards the side.

Taeyeon was breathing heavily, her fist still clenched on top of his face, while her other hand held his collar. Everyone in the room except, Sunny and Sooyoung were trying their best to stop her but only Tiffany's words seemed to calm her down. "Taetae please.. " Tiffany pleaded as she rushed over to her side and held her bruised fist gently. Taeyeon, removed her hand from Tiffany's and stood up with a blank face. Tiffany tried to hold her again, but she remained cold. Taeyeon walked away from the room and Yuri turned to Tiffany, "Don't worry, I'll talk to her." she assured her before running to catch up with Taeyeon. Jessica moved and sidehugged Tiffany who was now crying. Everyone else sighed.

Everyone was silent, for a moment. It was feeling weirdly awkward at the moment but Seohyun managed to move closer to the still breathing man on the ground. "Ajusshi, please.. We need the antidote now. Our friend is dying." She pleaded, the man opened his eyes and strangely enough he had a smirk on his distorted face, Seohyun furrowed her eyebrows and was getting irritated, "Please, ajusshi!" she demanded, and the man just laughed like a maniac, "Ajussh---" "Such fools, trusting a gambler's word." he blankly stated. Everyone in the room widened their eyes. "What?!" Sunny finally spoke, she was about to get up but Sooyoung pulled on her shirt, "Do-n't.. Bun..ny.. Just.. S-tay.. here." Sooyoung managed to say, her face clearly showed how much pain she endured as she closed her eyes. Sunny gave a small nod and held her face, she wanted to cry seeing the taller girl like this. It was the first time Sooyoung looked so weak and since there wasn't an antidote, she knew what was gonna happen.

"Wahahahaha.. lovebirds.. how nice. hahaha so sad that one of you has to die.."

The sound of the man laughing on the ground angered everyone, not only did he lie about the antidote, now he was even mocking them. "Shut up!!" Jessica glared at him but he continued laughing. Seohyun was disgusted at this person, he was by far the worst monster they've ever met and for once she didn't stop her unnies from disrespecting an older guy. Yoona stomped her feet and grabbed him by the collar, "You as$hole!" she shouted at him but he continued laughing like a crazy guy. Hyoyeon clenched her fists, she was feeling guilty at the moment. Maybe she could've given the antidote to Sooyoung, or maybe they could've shared... it was uncomforting to know that someone would die because you decided to save yourself. This guilty feeling rose as the man's laugh grew louder by the second

"Stop it!"

Everyone turned to Tiffany, who still had tears in her eyes. "Aren't you satisfied yet?!" Tiffany's eyes were glowing red, and this is by far the angriest she's ever been in her entire life. He stopped laughing... then after a few seconds he laughed again, and Tiffany couldn't hold her anger anymore, she pushed Yoona away and unknowingly summoned her sword and struck it inside his chest, piercing his heart. She pulled it away and struck him again, "Shut up!! Shut up!!" she cried as she stabbed him multiple times until Seohyun and Jessica managed to pull her away from the bleeding monster. Tiffany's knees weakened as she sat on the cold ground. Jessica and Seohyun rubbed her back, trying their best to console the girl who looked lifeless. "Why are you so evil?" Hyoyeon managed to say, as she glared to the man who lay flat on the ground bleeding, his mouth already had blood coming out. He smiled at her.

"Heh... Do you know that when you cut a hydra's head, two other heads will come springing out of the wound? Its a never ending cycle and its head would just multiply... Its like greed.. No matter how much you tell youself you're satisfied with everything... in the end you still want more.." he calmly said, and Hyoyeon just gave a confused look. "I knew she was my owner, the moment she walked in front of my mansion... I knew and I could've offered myself without any fight and everything would've been easier." he looked over to Tiffany who looked back at him, "But when that midget showed herself..." he coughed out blood, "I knew... cough.. my owner belonged to her... cough.. and I... I wanted her to be mine, even for one night..." Hyoyeon shook her head, "Idiot.." his body began disintegrating and Tiffany continued to cry, he looked over to her again and reached out to his pocket. He opened it and there it was... the other vial that held the antidote, it was with him this whole time. He smiled sincerely at her, "Thanks for trusting and betting on my lies.. A true Gambler know when to pay his dues. Let me serve you, My Master... Please don't hesitate to bet your life on me again.." after his last words, his whole body disappeared and the vial rolled on the ground. Hyoyeon picked it up and rushed towards Sunny. The sad mood finally had a tinge of hope...

"Yo! Taeng! Wait up!"

Yuri ran towards the midget who had her hands in her pockets, her head down low and her eyes a bit teary. "What do you wan Yul?" she said in a low tone, "Heh, nothing.. Just didn't know you were that strong Taeng." Yuri smiled as she caught up with her and began walking in the same pace in the long hallway they were currently in. "Sigh.. I had to learn to defend myself... since my parents died when I was very young..." Taeyeon answered back, and they both stopped walking. Taeyeon turned and walked closer to the window, the light from the moon shining on her face as she looked up towards the sky. "My parents were killed when I was young... Nobody knew who killed them, the case was never solved, and everyone, even my relatives thought it was me." Yuri stood beside her and furrowed her eyebrows, "Why? Why would they think you'd kill your own parents?" she asked, Taeyeon was silent for a bit, "Because I had an inheritance that could buy me the whole of South Korea if I wanted to." Taeyeon answered simply, "Wow.. didn't know everyone in the group was rich." Yuri joked and they both chuckled, Taeyeon continued to stare at the sky, "I was used to getting beaten up because everyone thought I was a monster... But then I met Sunny in middle school... She was a transferee and she didn't know, or... frankly, she just didn't care about the rumours going around about me. Instead, she chose to be my friend and she was the one who told me to learn karate since she was part of the team and she said it'd make me look stronger and bullies won't try to gang up on me anymore." Taeyeon brought her hands up and stared at the bruises on her knuckles, "I'm sorry... I just... lost control." she mumbled, and Yuri sighed. She held her shoulder and squeezed it a bit, "You're not the only one who loses control Taeng."

Hyoyeon gave the vial to Sunny who opened it up by biting the cap off, "Here drink this.." Sunny placed the mouth of the vial near Sooyoung lips and the other girl didn't respond, her skin was colder than before, "Yah! Choi Sooyoung!" Hyoyeon shook the tall girl who's head was leaning on the crook of Sunny's neck. Still no response, Hyoyeon looked over to Sunny who was beginning to cry, "No... Soo.." Hyoyeon whispered, the guilt was eating her up, and she looked down. Tiffany, Jessica, Yoona and Seohyun gathered around the three girls. They had a sad expression and the weight of the moment burdened each one of them. "Unnie.." Seohyun held Sunny's shoulder. "No!" Sunny cried, "Yah! Wake up! You need to drink this to get better!" she continued to cry but Sooyoung remained lifeless in her arms. "Unnie." Seohyun backhugged her, the maknae was also crying. Jessica looked away and covered her eyes with her arm. Tiffany bowed her head and sobbed silently, while Yoona clenched her fists and began crying as well. "Yah!!" Sunny shouted again, "Open your eyes! open them please...sob.... please...sob..." the tears that fell softly before suddenly turned into waves of liquid coming straight from her eyes. She felt herself suffocating from intense sadness... she's never cried like this before, let alone feel this hurt before. Sooyoung was her friend... her weird friend... The friend who always hugged her and told her how much she loved her.. To be honest, Sunny thought she could never feel the same way this girl felt about her, but she was wrong.. she didn't know when it started but she grew accustomed to the tall girl's warm embrace, her dorkiness, her smiles and her loving words. She'd always try to stop herself from thinking about these feelings because she thought she loved Taeyeon more, but in the end, Taeyeon never made her in their 6 years as being friends as happy as Sooyoung would with her cheesy lines and her weird jokes. She's never felt so happy cooking for someone else, and the way Sooyoung would admire her basic cooking lifted her up to the skies.. It was regretful that she couldn't say any of these things to her... She thought that Sooyoung would be with her forever and that comforted her to the point of taking advantage of the time spent together. So many things... so many words... but Sooyoung could never hear any of them anymore... Sunny was too late.. she was late in acknowledging her feelings... late in saving her and she was late in telling her the three words she longed to say after she'd found her half-stripped on the table at the vampire city. Sunny's eyes were puffed and red, she breathed heavily and took one last look at the vial they've all been searching for. She placed it near her lips and placed the contents inside . She leaned closer to Sooyoung's face and pulled her chin down by her thumb, making her lips part a bit. She closed the gap between them and the contents from the antidote transferred towards Sooyoung's mouth. Sunny felt the coldness of Sooyoung's lips and the liquid escaping from ... she didn't know what she was doing but.. somehow she still felt that maybe... just maybe it could help and Sooyoung would be alive again... but the other girl wasn't breathing anymore, and eventhough she wasn't kissing her back, Sunny still allowed her lips to linger for a moment, hoping that when she removed her lips... the pain... the broken heart and the regret of losing the one you love would disappear, like their sweet kiss.

"What do you mean by that?" Taeyeon answered and Yuri's smile disappeared from her face, the tanned girl turned her gaze to the city outside the window. "Nothing... Sigh.. We better go back, Tiff must be waiting for you." Yuri turned around and walked back to the room they were in before but Taeyeon's feet were glued on the floor. Yuri noticed that she wasn't being followed and turned to face the smaller girl again. "What are you standing there for?" she said but Taeyeon looked away, "She betrayed me, Yul." Taeyeon's eyes stared at the floor and she could feel the sudden rush of anger in her veins again. Yuri sighed and scratched the back of her head, "Don't be an idiot Taeng. You know Tiff's not that kinda girl." Taeyeon looked up to meet Yuri's gaze, "But you saw it! Everyone saw it!" Taeyeon shouted, Yuri just sighed in disbelief, "Don't you even trust her, Taeng? God, and even if she did do something with that guy. It was to get the crystal, she didn't do it because she wanted to." Yuri explained, "She still betrayed me, Yul.. I won't expect you to understand cause even if Jess makes you look like a damn doormat you'd still go out with her." Yuri was taken aback and she felt hurt and angry, Taeyeon was in no position to make assumptions of Jessica and her relationship like that, all the more now, since she knew why Jessica cheated on her back then. Taeyeon looked over to her, "What? Its true right? She cheated on you and you allowed it. If you think I'm going to be just like you, well you're wrong, cause I---" "Fine!" Yuri shouted cutting her off, "Fine, break it off with Tiff! Run away! Do what you want! But never!" Yuri pointed her finger over to Taeyeon, "Never make assumptions of me and Sica, cause you don't know a damn thing about us!" Taeyeon stopped talking and lowered her head. "Sica didn't cheat on me Taeng. My dad made her break up with me." Taeyeon's eyes shifted from the floor towards the tanned girl. 

"Don't jump to conclusions, Taeng. I've been there.. and based from my experience, it's never a good thing.."

Sunny's eyes remained closed, and the lips that was pressed against her felt warmer for some reason. She heard the beating of her heart, she never knew it could beat this fast. The warm hands that held her face felt so nostalgic and nice she didn't want to remove them...

Warm hands...

Someone was holding her face...

...

No way... she thought

She pulled back and opened her eyes. She widened them and blinked a few times more..

"Bunny... I knew you liked me too."
