Soon as Sungmi steps inside the dark room, the lights went on and several POPS appeared and confettis fall over her head and it was followed by a loud "SURPRISE!!!"      "Waaaah!" Sungmi gasped as she saw G3 holding a cake with a lit candle on it,  walking towards her. Chen was at her back holding her.      "Happy birthday to you~  Happy birthday to you~ Happy birthday dear maknae~ "      "Happy birthday Sungmi!" The girls giggled as Sungmi blew her candle.     "Waaah! Thank you unni!" She said, hugging each of them. "You shouldn't have.."     "Na ah. We really have to. Its your birthday. We can't miss that. Right girls?" Haemin said, hugging Sungmi again       "Aww. Thanks Haemin unni." Sungmi sighed.     "Pish posh. You have to try this. I made this for you." Hyunjae said as she went closer to Sungmi.     "And of course, CREDITS to the kitchen owner!" Seohyeon added, pointing at herself. The three girls had planned this surprise a day before and made the cake at Seohyeon's house. Then they surprised her in school. It took several tries to make the perfect cake for her and TADA! A cake with full of love was born.       "Of course this cake will be the best." Sungmi smiled, dipping a finger in the side to get some icing and tasted it.      "So?"        "Delicious!" Sungmi smiled. "Thank you so much!"        "Thank the man behind this." Seohyeon said, pouting her lips towards Chen. Sungmi turned around and hugged him. "Thanks."      "Yeeeeeeeeeh!!"        "You're welcome. Glad you like my surprise. Our surprise." Chen smiled.     "Haha. I love it." Sungmi said.             **     The school bell rings and it was time for the second class period to start. G4 and Chen were lucky to have the first period vacant. So they went out from the room together. Hyunjae bid farewell to them because her class was on the other building.      "I'll just see you later." She said going to the left, where Chen and G3 went to the right. Hyunjae was in no hurry yet she has to be in the cooking lab for the early instructions. She passed by the front building and eventually met Tao.      "Oh." She gasped and almost bumped him. "Sorry." She said and bowed at him but after a few seconds she stopped. "Hey, you look familiar." She said, turning back to Tao.     "Uh." Tao hummed. "H-Hi."      "Tao, right?" Hyunjae smiled, tilting her head on the side. Tao blushed, scratching the back of his head. "Y-yeah."      "Its good to see you." She said, shaking hands with him.      "Nice to see you too. Uh.." Tao was troubled even more. He can't slow down his heart that was beating fast.  Then he heard Hyunjae's giggle, "Haha. So cute. I'm Kim Hyunjae by the way." She said.     "Kim.. Hyunjae?"      "Yep! Sorry if I ask you this, you're chinese right?"      "Ah. Yes. Yes. Isn't it obvious?"      "Haha. Yes it is. But I was having doubts seconds ago." She laughed. "So uhm. Why made you come here Tao?"      "Ahh.."      "Oppa--" A small arm held his arm. Tao turned to see Hana with her uniform that was in a hanger. "I got my uniform." She said.     "Uhh. I'm here with my sister." Tao said to Hyunjae and actually ignored Hana.      "Hi!" Hyunjae waved a hand to Hana. "You must be a new student here. Welcome to Seoul University." She said.      Hana just gave her a weak smile and was blended with sarcasm. "Oppa. Let's go."      "Wait. This is Hyunjae." Tao said, gesturing a hand at Hyunjae as he talks to Hana. "Hyunjae this is Hana, my sister."      "Nice to meet you Hana-ssi." Hyunjae said, bright as always. "Oh well.." She paused glancing at her wristwatch. "I have to go. Nice to see you Tao and Hana-ssi see you anytime." She said and hurriedly went on her way.          Tao was left quiet, staring at the spot where Hyunjae was standing awhile ago.     "Oppa. Yah! Oppa!" Hana was shaking Tao's arm abruptly until Tao hummed in response. "You're not talking to me!" She whined.     "I'm already talking to you." Tao snapped.     "No you're not. Hmp!" She pouted and released Tao's arm. "Meanie."      "I have to go. Good luck with your first day." Tao said as he swiftly turns around and heads for his car that was parked in front of them.       "Oppa!" Hana called.       "Ciao." He said, nonchantly waving a hand at Hana as he hops on his car.      "Hmph!" Hana fumed and grumpily walks inside the building.         *********       The teacher keeps on pressing the A chord so that the students will have the perfect basic pitch sound and Chen was the only one who can get that.       "Mr. Kim." Ms. Kwon called out, Chen raised his hand. "I'm here Miss."      "Get to the center." She commanded and with that Chen went to the center. He froze when he saw his classmates all staring at him. There was a large lump in his throat that prevents him from speaking until Ms. Kwon starts to play a tune.  "Now give me an A pitch." She said.     "Aaah~"      "Again."     "Aaah~"      "Again."     "Aaah~"      "Do you hear his tone?" Ms. Kwon asked her students. "That should be it. You have to take the pressure from your stomach and up to your throat and out to your mouth to creat a perfect sound." She said and everybody else nodded.     "Mr. Kim your voice really blends with one of your classmates here." Ms. Kwon said as she stood from the piano and searched for a face in the whole class. She rested her hands on both of her hips as she fails to see that student. "Where is he? Where's Byun Baek Hyun?"          "He's out in the cafeteria Miss. Eating." One of the girls, I mean Fan girls giggled. Ms. Kwon wasn't amuse at all. Its the 3rd time her best student skipped her class. "Fine." She said, getting back to her seat. "Chen, sing the song I asked you to practice in the first day."       "You mean now Miss?" Chen blinked.       "Yes. Why? Its a homework." Ms. Kwon said. "Did you even read the lyrics?"        "Ahh. Actually, I did look at the lyrics. The melody.."      "Whatever. Just sing it." Ms. Kwon has been a terror and annoying teacher in college actually. She'll probably demands oral outputs than teaching a lesson to her students.  And would probably fail them if they lack entertainment.     Chen nodded and just sing the song as Ms. Kwon listens to him.         *******       "Isn't that Chen's voice singing?" Seohyeon poked Sungmi with her pencil as she listens at the voice that seems to be swarming around their room. Sungmi turned to her a little bit, "Yes. Its his voice." She smiled. Seohyeon could see the pink blush on Sungmi's cheeks.     "He sounds really good." Seohyeon said, giving her a pat on the back and went back on listening to their teacher.      Seohyeon re-scheduled her classes so that there will be one or two classes that she'll be sharing with the others. So this was Basic Art Class, and she luckily took Sungmi's class. It was relieve after all that some of their classmates in highschool before were there, taking the same course as she.        "This is your first project this midterm. I'll pair you guys..."        "Sungmi let's pair up!" Seohyeon chimed , and unluckily their professor heard it. "I'll have to pair you guys up according to my plan." Mrs. No glared at Seohyeon.     And Seohyeon had to hide behind her notebook and blush in embarrassment.      Mrs. No starts to call out names of pairs. There were UGHs, AISH, , in the whole class, including Seohyeon who ended up pairing with someone.
