Ever since that day, Hana had once again started avoiding them, she started becoming more quiet than usual which caused Hajoon to worry, she doesn’t even have breakfast together anymore. So once again, she was about to leave school when a voice called out to her.

She reluctantly turned around to see Hajoon. “Did you eat breakfast yet?” He asked and she nodded lightly causing his lips to turn into a thin line. “You know I can tell you’re lying right? Come and eat” He said sternly before walking to the dining room.

Hana then sat across him and started eating the food he had prepared. Hajoon just stared at his sister, he knew something was up and she was hiding it from her but he knows she’s too stubborn to tell him, just seeing her like this, he just feels like a useless brother.

“I’m done” Hana said as she stood up from her seat but was halted when he had called her once again.

“Is everything okay?” Hajoon asked in which she nodded causing him to sigh. “You know I’m suppose to protect you but if you aren’t telling me anything, I feel so useless” He said.

She turned to him and forced a smile, “Everything is fine” She lied before walking out.

Hana was once again at the rooftop, looking down to see how her friends were doing and in those times, she would always think about Yunji’s words that seemed to have kept replaying in her head.

“But why? Why would they play with me? Why would they lie? Why did they even have to come into my life?” Hana kept asking herself as she leaned herself on the railings. “Why do people hate me?” She asked as she buried her face in her arms, silently sobbing.

“No they don’t”

She stopped and her body immediately tensed up, she wiped her tears and looked down. “Please, go away” She said without looking back. “Just leave me..” She mumbled.

“No, we can’t do that” Daehyun said.  “Why Hana? Why did you disappear again? What happened?” He asked but received no answer from the girl who tried her best to ignore their presence. “I hate that you’re pushing us away, why?”

Hana turned around and walked pass the two, Luhan grabbed her wrist. “We just want to know why” He said but she didn’t say anything but took her hand away.

“Just leave me alone, forget about me, like nothing ever happened” Hana said before walking towards the door only to get blocked by Daehyun who went in front of her as he crossed his arms, not satisfied with her answer one bit.

“Tell us, why? Why must we leave?” Daehyun asked. “We can’t possibly just forget about you, not after those awesome memories we spent together” He added.

“Then try to, do whatever it takes but please just forget about me” Hana said before pushing him but he was too strong. “Please, just..leave” Her voice was like a faint whisper, she was slowly going to break down and she needed to get away.

Luhan noticed this and when Daehyun was about to say something, he cut him off. “Daehyun, let her go” He said in which the brunette looked at him with this look. “Let her go” He said and with a sigh, Daehyun stepped aside so that Hana could leave.

“Dude, what the hell?” Daehyun complained.

“Stop pressuring her, if you do that, she’ll break down and cry” Luhan said making Daehyun calm down a bit. “And since she is stubborn to tell us, we find out for ourselves” He added. “Come, let’s go follow her, let’s find out why she’s like this”

Hana sighed in relief when she didn’t see them anymore, she walked away trying to find another quiet place for her to disappear, she found a classroom that seemed unoccupied and went in only to be greeted by two girls who were busy chatting with each other and when they noticed her presence, a smirk was playing on the girl’s lips.

Wrong room,  I am so dead

“Well, if it isn’t the mute loser” Chohee said as the two girls stood up from their seats, walking towards the girl who was seemed to be stuck near the door.

“You’ve seem to understand the lesson we gave you” Yunji smirked. “But I don’t like you so I’ll give you another one” She said before pushing the girl causing her to lose her balance and fall down to the ground.

“Yunji, not again” Chohee said as she tried to restrain the girl.

Yunji rolled her eyes and faced Chohee. “Why? Don’t you feel angry? That she’s getting all the attention from EXO and B.A.P? Don’t you find it irritating that some mute loser could just go hang out with the popular guys!” She raised her voice as she pointed towards Hana who was still on the ground.

“I do but-“

“Then what’re you waiting for?” Yunji hissed feeling impatient but Chohee just stared at Hana. “You’re weak Chohee” She spat. “That’s why no one wants to be friends with you, you’re lucky you met me” She added.

Chohee gulped and looked at Hana, “I’m sorry” She whispered before kicking her. And from that, she felt a sudden rush of adrenaline in her, she kicked the girl again but harder and she wondered to herself, was she enjoying this?

Yunji smiled, satisfied before lifting Hana up by the collars then pushing her harshly onto the wall. “Time for lesson 2”

The two males had arrived and they swore they wanted to kill someone in that moment because of the scene they were witnessing, the sight of Hana getting beaten up by two girls in which they instantly recognized as the desperate girls that followed them these past few weeks.

Luhan was the first to react, not being able to see such a thing. “Ya, what the hell are you doing?!” He yelled causing the two girls to flinch as they had reluctantly turned their heads.

“L-luhan oppa!” Chohee shrieked. “This is not what it looks like!”

“Oh really? Well, it looks like you were beating up our little Hana there” Daehyun gritted his teeth as he walked towards them with Luhan beside him.

And because of their ourburst, other students noticed and started to gather wondering what the hell was going. EXO and B.A.P made their way through the crowd to see what was going on.

“Noona!” The maknae line chorused as they all went to help the injured girl up. “Hey, are you alright?” Sehun asked and the girl nodded curtly and stumbled a bit so they had to help her stand up.

“What happened?” Both leaders asked.

“Well these two thought that it was a good idea to bully our princess” Luhan replied while glaring at the two who looked down, feeling totally scared and embarrassed.

Everyone gasped and murmers and whispers could be heard everywhere, their eyes all landed on the two girls as everyone started talking, cursing and so much more.  “Everyone, please be quiet” Suho said and it went quiet, only a few murmers could be heard here and there.

Daehyun and Luhan turned to Hana and examined her, she badly bruised but she still cracked a small smile trying to confirm that she was alright. Something inside Daehyun seemed to snap, “Park Yunji, Lee Chohee” He said sending chills down their spines as he walked closer to them with a piercing glare.

The two gulped, “Y-yes?” Yunji stuttered.

“You have no idea how much I want to kill the both of you” Daehyun said sternly, leaning his face close to the two who looked up at him in horror, going a few steps back as they were afraid of his wrath. “Don’t you dare come to my sight again or else I swear I will rip your plastic faces off” He threatened and was so tempted to punch the two on the spot but something stopped him.

Luhan pushed him aside, “Busan boy, I don’t think fighting with our fist is a good idea” He said and Daehyun merely ‘tch’ before sending one last glare at the two.

The two let out a sigh of relief, “I knew Luhan oppa cared for us” Chohee silently cheered. Everyone was a bit relieved that Luhan was there, no one could really stop Daehyun when he’s angry so they were really grateful that he was there to stop him from doing something extreme.

Suddenly, Luhan had a twisted smile on his face as he stared at the girls who flinched upon seeing him in this state. “Because our hands would get filthy with their plastic faces” He said causing everyone to widen their eyes at him, how could the innocent flower boy turn into this? “Sehun, give me your book”

“Eh? Why mine?” But with just one look, Sehun had immediately obeyed. “Here you go hyung, do whatever you want with it, keep it, I don’t need it anymore” He said quickly, terrified at his hyung’s sudden behavior.

“Now we shall learn why books are powerful” Luhan smirked as he held out the book and walked towards them.

“Ohohoho, this will be fun” Daehyun said as he grabbed Youngjae’s book and followed after Luhan with the same twisted smile.

How did the two become so violent? Someone really had to stop them but they seemed to be still in dazed and shock at Luhan’s behavior therefore they chose to not interfere. The girls shut their eyes shut and when they were about to attack, their sleeves got pulled back lightly.

“Aish, don’t try to stop-“ Daehyun turned his head but stopped when he saw Hana looking at him. “Yo, deer, stop” He nudged the blonde who looked annoyed but then soon realized.

“Stop…” Hana said quietly but it was audible to the both of them. “Don’t fight, I don’t want to see people getting hurt, just let them be” She said looking at both of them.

“Hana, they just beat you up and you’re telling us to let them be?” Luhan asked, looking annoyed.

“Yes” Hana said firmly making the two of them confused on her decision. “Because ever since I met you two, I started believing in second chances” She cracked into a small smile making them soften but then Luhan’s smile had disappeared when a thought had slipped into his mind.

“Is this the reason why you disappeared?” Luhan asked and her smile faded giving a short nod. “And you kept this from us? Hana, we’re your friends!”  He said, throwing the book to who knows where and the impact had caused the everyone to flinch.

“Because it’s my own problem” Hana simply said. “I  should’ve solved it myself, I shouldn’t have involve anyone because it was my own problem” She added.

Daehyun let out a sigh, “Hana, how many times do I have to repeat this to you? We’re friends” He said. “And friends help each other no matter what happens so stop hiding all these problems and let us help you fix them”

Hana nodded, “I’m sorry…”

Luhan smiled as he ruffled the girl’s hair, “It’s alright, as long as you’re okay then- wait, you’re not okay, they still hurt you” His expression darkened as he took the book Daehyun was holding onto and marched towards the girls. “You hurt her and now you shall pay!”

Daehyun let out a laugh seeing him like that. “I’m starting to like that guy” He grinned, fully amused.

“How did hyung change so much” Sehun cringed. “And that book, it wasn’t even mine, ” He let out a sigh before straightening himself and merely shrugged, “Nyeh, I don’t care anymore” He said before turning around. “Yo Chen, sorry not sorry but your book is gone forever”

“You brat! You know how hard it was to steal from Baekhyun?”

“You what?!”

Hana shook her head at their bickering and managed to stop Luhan from hurting the girls. “You know, i understand your helping me but…” She started. “I think it’s my turn to start defend myself” She smiled.

“Okay but I’ll be here if you need help” Luhan said and she nodded before facing forward.

The two girls stared blankly at her, all their fear swept away now that they were just dealing with the person they had just bullied, she gulped at their intimidating stare but she couldn’t live in fear forever, she had to fight back so she took a deep breath before glaring at the two.

“Ya, Park Yunji, Lee Chohee!” She said and the two had flinched with her sudden tone, everyone else too was shocked about Hana’s sudden attitude but Luhan and Daehyun were sort of used to it now. “I don’t know what the hell your problem is but off!” She yelled.

It went dead silent as they did not expect the girl to use profanities and again, the two boys were used to it. “Hana, don’t you think that’s a bit harsh?” Luhan asked, it had seem that the innocent flower boy had returned.

“But damn, she sounds y” Daehyun smirked making Luhan roll her eyes.

“Really? Oh, sorry..” Hana mumbled cutely as she looked down, they couldn’t help but laugh at her cuteness. She turned back to them again, “Listen, just stop bullying me, I didn’t do anything to you and if it’s because of your stupid jealousy towards me hanging out with them then you two are idiots”

Yunji looked offended, “Excuse me?”

Hana rolled her eyes, “Was that not clear enough for you? Or are you just stupid to understand” She mimicked her words making Yunji to frown and look away. “Aish, I just don’t understand Yunji, what the hell happened to you?”

Daehyun and Luhan couldn’t help but in, “What’re you talking about Hana?” Daehyun asked.

“Nothing happened” Yunji simply said. “We’ll leave you alone” She said flatly before walking away. “Chohee, follow” She instructed and Chohee bowed at them before trailing after the girl.

“Tch, not even an apology” Luhan muttered. “I swear if I see her again, I’m going to-“

Hana nudged him, “Shut up” She said as she dragged him away, the crowd parted for the two.

“Ya, Kim Hana! You need to get treated first!” Daehyun ran to her.

“Pft, it’s not like I’ll die or anything” Hana rolled her eyes. “Besides, Hajoon can do it for me” She said then let out a sigh as she came to a halt. “You know what, let’s go, I don’t think I want to hear that guy’s long boring lectures”

“Those bruises are quite obvious, he’ll find out eventually you know” Luhan said and she merely shrugged, not really caring about it anymore.

Daehyun chuckled before grabbing her hand and pulled her close which made her wince, “S-sorry!” He apologized almost instantly, he noticed that she looked a bit funny standing like that so he lifted her up and carried her bridal-style.

Hana didn’t complain because she was too tired to although Luhan kept insisting that he would carry her but of course Daehyun wouldn’t allow it, the three walked to the nurse’s office.

“Shall we go eat after this?” Luhan asked and the two nodded vigorously at his suggestion.
