Boa’s POV

I rubbed my eyes and opened them slowly.

I wasn’t in my bedroom, but I smelled Jae’s scent near me.
I turned around and looked at him.
He smiled at me.

“Sleep more, there is long way to go…” He said hugging me closer and putting my head on his shoulder.

I was confused and even more when I saw what I was wearing.

“Do you like your clothes…?” He said chuckling.

I was wearing a hoodie and baggy pants…
I haven’t worn that kind of clothes for so long.

And then I saw him.

He was wearing simple clothes like when we were students.
A pair of jeans and a flannel shirt with a t-shirt.

I smiled.

“What are you planning, Jae?”

“Right now, I’m planning to sleep and you?”

I pouted.

“I guess you are not going to tell me…but remember I have to work tomorrow.”

“Yeah, yeah….as if my aunt didn’t know we are gone...”

“Ah?”

“Who do you think changed your clothes, me?...you are such a erted girl Boa..”

“Yah! Shut up….the ert have always been and will always be you! not me!...I was just asking…”

“Shhh…the other people in the bus are trying to sleep…” he said with a smirk.

“Ok, ok…” I said and went to sleep in his embrace.

I felt the cold breeze on my face and opened my eyes slowly.

I felt myself lifted in the air and panicked.

“Don’t move Boa or you are going to fall.”

I looked up and saw Jae smiling.

He was carrying me bridal style and stood there looking at the front.

I turned my head and in the middle of the night I saw the big waves that moved with the wind
and as silly as it seems in that moment I finally realized we were at the beach.

“Let’s go.”

He walked nearer the shore and put me down.

“It’s the first time you have carried me like this.” I said holding his hand.

“Today is special….look at the sky….”

I looked up and the sky was full of stars…and the moon was beautiful in the middle of them.

Suddenly he let go of my hand and took a blanket from his back pack.

He put it on the sand and made me sit beside him.

We looked at the ocean for a long time in silence.

Jae’s POV

I decided to propose to her.

It was time. We had been trough many things that only made our love stronger.

It wasn’t easy.

I almost thought everything was over when she left to London,
but at the end it was a time we needed to understand that love is more than spending the whole time together.

It’s being two complete individuals who take the compromise to care make each other happy, but without forgetting their own happiness.

And that was the point we had achieved.

My life was full of music.

The one I heard and the one I wrote, but apart from all I had discovered that she was my melody, the soundtrack in the movie of my life.

After looking at the ocean for a long time with her in silence, only hugging each other, she looked at me and once again I felt that connection.

That connection that allowed us to really see each other…that connection that I felt the first time I met her.

And it was still there making our relationship stronger than ever.

We shared a hug and a kiss.

After another long time in silence, she started falling sleep and I just laid her on the blanket covering her with another blanket.

I laid beside her and looked at the sky.

It was such a beautiful night.

“Jae! Jae!” I heard Boa calling my name.

I opened my eyes slowly while I sat down.

“Look at the sunrise, Jae…” She said excitedly.

I hugged her and kissed her forehead.

I looked to the side and she had built a castle.

It was a small one, but much better than the one she made when we were in Korea.

“I have more talent now, no?” She asked me, seeing I was staring at the castle.

“No, it seems that time doesn’t change some things…” I said teasing her.

“Yeah, it seems…..you are still acting like a kid…” she whined.

I stood up and went to the castle.

“What are you doing?” Boa asked concerned.

“Acting like a kid….” I said grinning.

And then I crushed her castle.

“Jae!”

I started laughing.
It was like the old times.
Like the first time we went to the beach.
Exactly the same, the clothing and the funny moments.
I carried her over my shoulder and started spinning.

“Jae! AHHH….I’m going to fall!” she shouted while I continued spinning.

“I won’t stop until you accept my proposal.”

Boa’s POV

“What?” I said confused.

The scene was so similar to the past.

I just stopped shouting and smiled.
In fact I was getting dizzy but I wanted to hear him.

“What if I say no?”

“You know that the sea water at this hour is really cold, no?”

Ah?...

“Ahhhh…!!!!” I shouted when he started approaching the shore even more.

He was laughing so hard that I almost fell.

“OK, yes, yes, but don’t let me fall!”

He put me down and smiled at me.

“It’s that the only way you know to convince me?” I said putting my hands on my waist.

“No, but it always works.” He said smirking.

“So what day do you want to get married?” he asked me holding my hand.

“What?” I asked confused.

“Just choose a date, and you can’t retract yourself…you said yes…” he said smiling proudly.

I pouted.

“This is the way you propose to me? And I thought you were romantic….” I whined.

“What were you expecting?” he said caressing my face.

“Well, a romantic place, with a lot of decorations and a beautiful ring.”

“Well, aren’t we in a romantic place?”

I nodded.

“The decorations?....well, your amazing castle….” He said changing completely what he said before.

I just looked at him suspiciously.

“And your handsome boyfriend here…”

I looked at him directly to the eyes.

“…with the perfect ring for his beautiful girlfriend.” He said showing me an amazing ring.

I hugged him and then we kissed.

NO ONE POV

Sitting on the beach Bojoong looked at the sea.

“Will you marry me, Boa?” Jae asked her.

“Didn’t I already say yes?” She chuckled.

He smiled. “But I want to ask you seriously…”

“More than anything in this world, Jae.” She said holding his hand.

“Thank you, Boa…” he said hugging her.

And as the sun shone on the sky and the beach became full of visitors,
Bojoong kept laughing and enjoying the day, that seemed like the past and at the same time was the present.

That joyful present that they were planning to live full of love, music and…

“Why did you bring that video camera!!!????”

“Hahahaha…..you know why….now let me see your face….and say hi!”
