Boa’s POV

“A Whole New World” he said looking at me as I sat beside him.

“What?”

“We will play that song. Don’t complain……” I hadn’t even assimilated the information, and he had already told me not to complain……….stupid oppa……..I don’t let others control me.

I stood up and started walking to the door when………he began to play……..

“A Whole New World”…that was all I could say before I turned back to look at him playing the piano.

Boa’s POV

What’s the magic in his hands that makes the music sound so beautiful……?

The song………is so inspiring……

The song of one of my favorite movies….I saw it with my cousins when I was little….and I simply loved this song since then….but I hadn’t heard it in a long time…..

On those days I wished I could be the princess….flying on the magic carpet seemed so funny…..

But now…..those whishes are so dead….no princess…and the flight was more like a crash on the ground….

But this song just reminds me of the new beginning I promised myself to have….

Yes…..now I have to accept the decision I made…..I have to perform perfectly in front of my classmates….get over my fears….start anew….this is the best song for me….

And it wouldn’t be so bad to present it for the project….

Jaejoong turned to look at me and smile, as if he had read my optimistic thoughts.

“We will present this song, ok?” he asked me with a voice so soft that it seemed he was following the music that his fingers were playing.

I don’t what is going on with me, but I just nodded and walked to the piano.

Jaejoong’s POV

The music room….this music room…..

I brought her here because she has to face it, her past.

I know it’s hard….I continue hiding from my past…I’m not over it….but for some reason I just want her to be happy first….it’s like seeing her happy could make me forget everything else…like in the beach……

“THE MUSIC ROOM?!” she shouted at me when she realized where I brought her.

My answer was simple…and obviously she talked back.

 “BUT NOT THIS ONE……….I REFUSE TO PRACTICE HERE!........OPPA YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO ME HERE!”

How I wish I could tell her that I know how she feels…..it’s not easy…..when I tried to get back to my old school….it was hard….and I just left….

She is strong and stubborn…..but I must be persistent like when I convinced her to be my music partner…..

So I just told her not to complain and entered the music room.

“You know….this is therapy.” I told her.

“This is torture…” she said softly and came next to me.

After talking to Yunho before, I thought a lot about what song we could perform…

“A Whole New World” I said looking at her.

Yes this song was perfect…..this is a new beginning, a new world for me……it’s simple, clear….and if there is something I can guess…she loves Disney…

I hope she is willing to share this new experience with me….and with music…..

“What?”

“We will play that song. Don’t complain……” I answered quickly…..I wanted her to focus….but she really gets angry easily, so she stood up and started leaving….then I decided to start playing….

As I heard her stop her walk, I smiled and asked her

“We will present this song, ok?” and continued playing.

Boa’s  POV

“Boa……….it’s a classic…….I suppose you know the lyrics…”

AH?  What is he talking about?

Oh I feel dizzy….it seemed like I just woke up from a dream……the music stopped playing…..and it is just me…..and Jaejoong looking at me like I was crazy.

“Hey Boa…we need to practice….this project is important!....remember…??” he said getting close to me.

“YES!.....let’s present this song for the project!” I said excited.

He put an evil grin……what happened to his angelic face while playing the piano?

“What??”

“Since you are so willing….now…. sing”

“SING??”

He sighed. “I will start.”

He sat down on the bench again and turned to look at me, now smiling as he usually does.

I was still in shock about his evil grin.

“Don’t get scared, it is just that we have lost a lot of time, but don’t worry I will help you….and the most important thing…..” he pointed at me “YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL VOICE!...DONT HIDE IT” 

I started blushing, but he didn’t even leave time for that.

He started singing….the first part……

It was my turn….I did know the lyrics…but for some reason I couldn’t sing……

“Ok…..this is your part.” He gave me a sheet with the lyrics and pointed to the part I needed to start singing….maybe he thinks I don’t know the lyrics…

“Again.” He plainly said.

“Ok”

Then I suddenly felt him hold my hand and he forced me to sit next to him. He started playing and singing again.

I started singing my part without looking at the paper…I obviously knew the lyrics…..but my voice was low and….well I at it….that’s all….

Jaejoong’s POV

She was so nervous while she was singing….but I did notice she didn’t need the lyrics…

Then I knew what I needed to do.

“Boa…look at me.”

She slowly turned to look at me…she was blushing…

“Look at me while you sing…” she giggled.

I smiled…. “Not to my face…..to my eyes…”

She looked at the piano keys as if she needed time to understand or to prepare herself…… and then she looked into my eyes…..and I felt it…the same connection…like the first day we met…..like when I told her about my past….that connection that only we can have….and I started playing again….

Then I heard her voice….it was beautiful….more beautiful that the first time I heard her sing…..

I was smiling….this can really work….we were here…she was singing….singing with me…..she seemed so excited, she was singing this song…..like she was the princess….
