**Jin Ae‘s POV**

After that night he came home earlier than his “late” nights but suddenly, he started to come late again. It was getting me anxious and curious why he was acting like this. Dumbfounded, I remember one of my friend called me that day but her phone died so the next day when she called again she told me that she saw Jaejoong with a girl. I told her that it was probably business stuff but she said it didn’t seem like it.

Is Jaejoong cheating on me?

I was still in a deep thought when someone knocked at the door. I went over to open the door and my unni was standing there..

“Hey, I‘m here to hang out with you. Want to get out or stay in?” She asked.

“Go out, I guess. Wait…” I told her then went to get my purse.

“Alright. Let‘s go.” I locked the door then we walked to her car.

“Guess what?” She said when she drove away from my house.

“What?” I sounded like I didn’t care.

“Yah, what‘s wrong with you?” She caught my depress face.

“Nothing.” I answered then looked down.

“Come on, sisters‘ talk time!” She declared then I sighed before starting.

“I don‘t know. I find Jaejoong acting weird lately.” I professed.

“Like how? He seems normal to me.” She easily said.

“Because you‘re NOT his wife, I am and I see it in him. When you see him, maybe you think he‘s normal like you think but something about him is changing.” I continued.

“I‘m just hoping that he‘s not cheating on me.” I sadly said.

“Oh come on. Why is that always the reason people think of when their husband or wife is late from work? He‘s just trying to be a good man and work his off.” She persuaded.

“But he didn‘t come home yesterday plus he didn‘t call me.” I worryingly said.

“Don‘t think too much. He‘s just working. FAITHFULLY.” She emphasized that word.

“Hope so.” I uttered.

We went to the mall and bought more things for the baby until my Unni was satisfied with her new clothes too.

**Jaejoong‘s POV**

The sunlight that beamed through the blinds woke me up from my sleep. I was about to wake up but the tug was impossible with Hana cuddling close to me like a little kid and her teddy bear.

“Ey.. I got to go work now. I‘ll see you later.” I kissed her forehead and she nodded then went back to sleep.

I got ready then went to work. Things seems to be shifting in my life. These past days I‘ve been with Hana after we had a “make up ” thing. I barely get to see Jin Ae but I guess I’ll go have dinner with her tonight. I pulled out my phone and called her.

*PHONE RINGNING*

“Yea?” She sounded upset.

“Awake yet?” I asked with a happy mood.

“Yea. My Unni is taking me out today.” She answered, still sounding sad or something.

“What‘s wrong?” I sensed the affection in her voice.

“Nothing.”

“Sorry about yesterday. I fell asleep at work. I‘ll come home early tonight and cook for you, okay?” I offered.

“Araso~” She mumbled.

“Give me a kiss.” I .

“No~~ my unni is listening to us.” She refused.

“Say you love me then.” I was enjoying the tease.

“I don‘t love you.” She refused for the second time.

“Yes you do.” I said with a weak laugh.

“How would you know?”

“Because I‘m your husband.”

“Yea right.”

“Araso~~ I‘ll see you for dinner. Love you.” I told her.

“Love you too.” She said then we end the call.

Another reason to look forward to life, I guess.

Later…

**Jin Ae‘s POV**

“Are you sure you don‘t want dinner with me because I‘ll treat you if you want?” My unni asked me.

“It‘s okay. Jaejoong said he‘s coming back to cook dinner for me.” I assured her and she gave me a I-guess-so look.

“Oh, can you take me to my doctor‘s appointment tomorrow?” I asked and she nodded.

“Alright. Thanks for hanging out with me, unni.” I told her and she chuckled.

“Well you either go out with me or die from boredom.” She joked then I decided to let her go home.

I watched her car disappear as she did a right turn then went inside. I the lights and it reminded me a time when Jaejoong surprised me with a dinner that was able to feed the people that attended our wedding. I smiled at the short thought then closed the door behind me. I placed my purse on the sofa then sat down. It was already eight and about time for Jaejoong to come home or at least that was what I thought.

**Jaejoong‘s POV**

“I have to go.” I broke the hungry kiss with Hana.

“No~ just stay with me.” She pleaded.

“I‘ll see you tomorrow.” I kissed her again then left.

I put on my jacket then got to my car. I was still at work when Hana walked in. She hung out in my office until we left to her house. I silently laughed to myself when I thought back to what we talked about: High school life. How we first met. The time when I got her first kiss. Basically everything we talked about were the past, the good old memories. Out of the blue, I remember about the time. I looked at my clock and it was ten.

“.” I hissed then speed my limit.

I got home in about ten minutes. I didn’t bother to park the car in the garage. I ran out, locked my car then fled up the stairs. I entered and there she was, waiting but asleep. I took a step but stopped to smell my clothes.

‘Damn, Hana has some strong perfume.’ I thought.

I tiptoed past Jin Ae’s sofa then went upstairs for a quick shower. I got dried and came back downstairs. I smiled at her sleeping position. She had a pillow supporting her back and her hands on her stomach. I snuggled my face between her neck and that made her shift a bit.

“Hey~ Sorry~” I apologized and her eyes slowly fluttered open.

“Why did you leave early from work and didn’t come home?” She asked with her eyes closed for now but I had mine widen.

‘How did she know?’

“I met a old friend on the way home and he took me out for some drinks.” I tried controlling the shakiness in my voice as I told her this lie.

“Why does it always have to be these types of reasons when you‘re late home?” She sat up and fixed her hair.

I went behind her and sat like a frog as I gave her a shoulder massage.

“You‘re not mad, right?” I asked and she sighed.

“Should I be?” She said and I laid my chin on her shoulder.

“Did you eat yet?” I wrapped my arms around her stomach.

“Just a bit.” She replied.

“Want something else?” I rubbed the roundness of her stomach.

“I don‘t feel like eating.” She stood up and lightly pulled my arms off her.

She walked upstairs and looked exhausted. I turned off all the lights and followed behind.

“What‘s wrong? Did I do something?” I asked before I entered our room.

“I don‘t know, Jaejoong! I don‘t know why I‘m feeling like this! I don’t know why I should be angry at you when I shouldn’t be, I shouldn’t worry when I know you’re okay, I shouldn’t cry when things seem okay but… ” She frustratingly stated.

“Jaejoong… I hate this feeling that I‘m having now. You‘ve never been late home and what pissed me off the most was, you didn‘t come home yesterday and didn‘t even call me! Didn‘t you know that I was worried?! And today, you said you‘ll come make dinner for me but you left me starving!” She went on and was closed to tears with her feelings coming out now.

I walked up to her and embraced her in my arms.

“I‘m sorry~~” I apologized once again.

“I hate this. I hate feeling alone. I want you next to me every day, every second but I know because of your work, it‘s impossible.” She cried and I was starting to have that awful feeling in my stomach.

I was being stupid and a hypocrite. I left my wife all by herself when she’s needed me the most at this moment along with my child. What if she was going to give birth at this very minute? What then? I wouldn’t be there to help her. I’m officially cheating on my wife and it’s just her best friend. How can I make things better?

A/N; O.M.GEE! Seeing this much comments for one update got
me excited! haha. I was scared no one was going to be
interested since I read before in a story's review that
sometimes when the plot is about the life of marriage,
it's kind of like uninteresting or something BUT it's
great to see that some of you confesses that you are
my silent readers. You don't have to comment to EVERY
update but at least let me know that you're reading since
comments are encouragements for writers. For the "UPDATE
SOON!", I should be updating almost EVERY DAY but only if I
write more of the stories which I did but only the drama
