Third Person’s POV

     Dara stared at him with soft eyes as her finger traced down his slender nose gently.

     They had kissed last night. And now for sure, she was certain of her feelings. But Jiyong…did he love her too?

     Her fingertip hovered above his semi-parted lips as Dara gulped and her slightly dry lips. She wanted to taste his lips again.

     “I guess…” she whispered softly. I really do love you huh?

     “Guess what?”

     She froze when she saw his lips move. She widened her eyes as Jiyong slowly opened his eyes and flashed a lazy smile.

     “Good morning.” His voice was deep and husky. It sent shivers down her spine.

     “G-Good morning…” she stuttered softly. Jiyong smiled lazily, “I was woken up by someone touching my face ya know…” He grabbed Dara’s finger which was still hovering above his lips and kissed its tip gently.

     “O-Oh.” Dara pulled her hand away and blushed, “Mianhe…”

     Jiyong bit his lip and smiled, “Guess what? You didn’t finish your sentence earlier on.”

     Dara looked confused for a moment. But soon, she blushed a deep red as she diverted her eyes. “B-Bathroom…I guess I have to go to the bathroom…” she stuttered as she turned around on the bed so she could get off.

     “Nah uh uh~” Jiyong sang playfully as he reached forward and wrapped his arms around Dara’s waist. Her heart thumped frantically. Why was he acting like this?

     Unless…

     Jiyong moved closer to her and sat up so he could nuzzle his face in the crook of Dara’s neck.

     Holding her right now was like heaven to him. And seeing her reactions…it was a good sign right?

     “I want to kiss you again.” He whispered as he lifted his head and blew some air into her ear. Dara squirmed when she felt a little ticklish. “W-What are you saying…” she stuttered as she tried to move away from him.

     “Y-Yah!” she gasped as Jiyong tightened his arms around her and pulled her closer.

     Jiyong took a deep breath.

     It was now or never.

     “Do you love me, Dara?”

     He couldn’t hear anything else afterwards except for the erratic beating of his heart. Dara’s eyes widened, not believing what she just heard.

     “W-What did y-you say?” she whispered.

     Jiyong took a deep breath again. “I love you, Dara.” He planted a kiss on her neck, “Do you love me?”

     Dara stiffened.

     OHMYGAWD HE JUST CONFESSED OMG JIYONG LOVES ME OMG WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR DARA GIVE HIM YOUR REPLY!!

     Dara’s lips parted, but all that came out was a miserably soft croak.

     Her voice was stuck in .

     DARA SPEAK QUICK SPEAK BEFORE HE GETS THE WRONG IDEA!!

     Jiyong couldn’t help but let his eyes get teary upon seeing her reaction.

     “Mmm, I understand.” He whispered and took his arms off her, “I’m sorry for kissing you last night…I couldn’t control myself.”

     IT’S TOO LATE YOU PABO DARA! NOOOO JIYONG, YOU CAN’T JUST TAKE MY FIRST KISS AND SAY SORRY!!

     “Why don’t you go wash up first?” Jiyong flashed a small, sad smile, his bottom lip trembling a little.

     No Jiyong, you can’t cry. You can’t look weak in front of her right now. “I’ll make breakfast okay?” He patted her head and got up.

     “W-Wait-” Just when Dara found her voice, Jiyong was already out the room. She blinked.

     “Aisht, I’m so stupid, aisht!!” she groaned as she laid back down onto the bed.

     *Caw*

     Dara turned and looked at Nero who was innocently perched on the wooden railing of the balcony.

     “Neroooo~ Ottokaeee?!”

     I stared at the sizzling bacon in the pan sadly.

     She didn’t exactly reject me. But from her reaction, I knew I was going to be disappointed.

     And I thought she might love me back after she kissed me last night…

     I clenched my fist. If I don’t have her heart, then who does? That b*stard Kim Jaejoong?
