Jiyeon POV

After what happened that day, Soyeon unni said that it would be better if we did not meet for a period of time until Lee Joon has got over what happened.

I agreed since I knew Lee Joon’s temper and it was better if we did not make him even angrier.

It was the day of our school’s annual sports day and I was wearing our house color, pink.

Eunjung came over to me happily wearing the exact same shirt since we were in the same house and was holding a banner.

“What’s that?” I asked.

“A banner to cheer you on, of course!” she said.

I shook my head and smiled at her.

The sports day was going really well and I had already won 3 gold medals.

The only events left for me were the 50 m race and the 4 x 100m relay.

Eunjung and I went to go buy some energy drinks as we were given a 15 minute break.

As we went out, we looked at the score board and I realized there was another name below my name.

It was Hyosung.

She had also won 3 gold medals and she had the same last 2 events as me.

Eunjung then pointed to the boys’ scoreboard and I saw Lee Joon’s name at the top.

He had already won 4 gold medals and one silver medal and he had no more events for the day.

I looked away and walked towards the drink vending machine.

Hyosung POV

Lee Joon had already finished all his events and had won 4 gold medals and 1 silver medal.

I was so happy for him!

I wanted to win my last 2 events and I knew I had a high chance if not for Jiyeon.

I knew I could not beat her in those 2 events and I asked Jieun and Sunhwa to quickly think of a plan.

“Ah!” Jieun said and came over to tell us her plan.

As I listened, a smile formed on my lips.

It was just perfect.

Jiyeon POV

The 50m race was about to start and I was at the starting line getting ready when Hyosung walked over.

She smirked and went to stand next to me.

What was she smirking about? I thought.

Soon, the race started and I was leading.

I crossed the finish line in first place and smiled.

That’s when I fell onto the ground.

Someone had tripped me from the back.

I looked behind me to find Hyosung on the ground too, clutching her hand.

Lee Joon was next to her and immediately picked her up.

As he took her to the first aid room, Hyosung turned around and smiled at me.

She mouthed, “Its over.”

What was she talking about? I wondered.

I tried to get up, but when I did, a burst of pain went up my leg from my ankle.

“Jiyeon ah! Oh my god. That Hyosung is such a b****! I can’t believe she did that. Are you okay?” Eunjung said worriedly as she came over to me.

“I’m okay, but I don’t thin..k I can get up.” I replied.

Eunjung immediately put her hand on my arm and pulled me up.

As I limped to the first aid room, we spotted Hyosung talking happily with Lee Joon.

She even gave a smirk glance at us as I was taken into the room by Eunjung.

Eunjung POV

That Hyosung girl is really too much.

How could she trip Jiyeon on purpose and act like she was hurt too?

I could not take it any longer and pushed her as I helped Jiyeon into the room.

She immediately fell onto the floor and stared at me with fury.

I just glared at her in disgust and didn’t look back.
