Jiyeon POV

It was true…a relationship needed two people, and both of them must be able to provide to the relationship and once one party cannot do it anymore, the relationship will not be the same anymore.

The mood seemed to drop after all I had just said.

“Why are we talking about all this depressing stuff anyway? It’s not important anymore…” I said.

“So, have you gotten over him?” Junhyung asked.

“I don’t know if I’ll ever get over him…Let’s just hope time helps?” I replied.

Junhyung POV

So…she forgot me quite easily right?

It seems like Lee Joon had long took my place in Jiyeon’s heart already…

My face must have looked uneasy or weird for Jiyeon to say the next sentence.

“Have you already gotten over…us?” she said, pausing when she said ‘us’.

I did not know what to say.

I was about to change the subject when someone called out Jiyeon’s name.

I turned around to see Eunjung come into the café with Dongwoon behind her.

I heaved a sigh of relief…I really did not know how to answer Jiyeon’s question.

They sat down and we started chatting again.

“So did you get a nice present for your dad?” I asked.

“Uh…I couldn’t find something nice…” Eunjung replied awkwardly.

“So, how are things over at MyungDong High?” Eunjung said, changing the subject.

“Everything still the same, nothing’s really changed…” I replied.

Jiyeon and Eunjung were supposed to attend MyungDong High with us, but right before the start of the term, we had that fight and that’s how they switched to Daemun High.

Unlike our school, Daemun High was a prestigious school, I would never think about entering there…

Just then, Dongwoon spoke up.

“Hyung, we’ve got to go…remember?”

What? I thought, when I remembered we had a gang meeting later on.

“Sorry Eunjung and Jiyeon, we have something to attend to, we’ll see you guys later okay?” I said.

“Ya, wait, give us your number…Dongwoon, you too.” Eunjung said.

“I never changed mine…” I replied.

After Dongwoon gave them his number, we left.

As soon as we got out of the café, I put on my hoodie as it was getting chilly.

“So, hyung, what did you chat about with Jiyeon when Eunjung and I wasn’t there?” Dongwoon asked.

“Just stuff…” I replied, not wanting to continue to conversation.

Dongwoon took the hint and we were silent the whole way to the gang meeting place.

[Back in the café]

Jiyeon POV

“Jiyeon ah, what did you and Junhyung talk about just now?” Eunjung asked.

“Well…he asked about my break up and stuff…that’s all.” I replied.

“You know…he really did suffer a lot after you left…” she said.

Suffer? What was she talking about?

“Dongwoon told me everything that happened after you broke up with him…he never really got over you Jiyeon ah…You met Lee Joon who helped you get over the past, but Junhyung never got to meet someone like that…and he’s been suffering all this time, didn’t you notice that he looks much thinner than before?” she said.

It was true…Lee Joon helped me get over the hurtful past…But I never thought that someone like Junhyung couldn’t’ find another girl easily…

He really did look much thinner than before…

“Don’t you think you should give him another chance?” Eunjung continued.

“I don’t want to go into another relationship for the time being Eunjung ah…I’m already as tired as it is…” I replied.

Eunjung nodded knowingly and said, “You’re right…It’s good to be single for a while anyways…Let’s go then~”

We got up and left the café.
