Jiyeon POV

At that moment, Seunhun oppa walks towards me.

“Are you okay, Jiyeon ah?” he asked.

I smiled softly and nodded, it was my birthday…

Shouldn’t I at least try to be happy?

[Two days later]

Jiyeon POV

I was sitting on the sofa about to go through my mail when someone rang on my doorbell.

I got up slowly to see Soyeon unni and Seunghun oppa outside my door.

What are they doing together? I thought.

Eunjung who I was living with now was also as confused as me, but we let them in.

“I met her downstairs, she seems really panicky…” Seunhun oppa replied and I looked at Soyeon unni.

She was red in the face and looked in a really bad shape.

I was immediately worried.

“Did something happen with Seungho oppa?” I asked immediately.

“No.” she said and went over to sit down on the sofa and we all followed her.

She looked at the mail on the table and asked, “Did you look through your mail already?”

I shook my head and replied, “I was about to when you and Seunghun oppa rang my doorbell.”

I was about to pick up the mail when she stopped me.

“What’s wrong?” I asked again.

“Jiyeon ah, be calm okay? I don’t know what’s going on too, but you must stay calm.” She replied.

“What happened?” Eunjung asked.

“Hold onto to Jiyeon.” Soyeon unni replied and Eunjung put her hand on my arm.

What was going on?!

That’s when I noticed the prettily designed envelope in her hands.

Soyeon unni rummaged through the mail on my table and she took out an identical envelope to the one in her hands and put it in mine.

“I received this today… And I couldn’t believe it when I opened it but…” she said and I slowly opened the enveloped and looked at the invitation.

It was a wedding invitation…

Who could be getting married?

Eunjung was sitting on my right while Seunghun oppa was on my left and they were also staring curiously at the invitation waiting for me to open it.

I open it and I my heart stopped when I saw Joon oppa’s name.

Eunjung immediately grabbed the invitation from my hands and read it out loud.

“You’ve been invited to the wedding of Jo Hyuna and Lee Joon.” She said out loud.

She looked worriedly at me but I was as shocked as she was.

Joon oppa was getting married?

That means he’s back… but to get married?

“I didn’t know anything about this too Jiyeon ah…” Soyeon unni said softly.

“Are you okay? Jiyeon ah?” Seunhun oppa asked.

I couldn’t answer any of them; I didn’t know what to say.

Lee Joon POV

I was back in Seoul, but it was for my marriage.

“I sent out your wedding invitations already Joon ah, they should have been received by now.” My dad said and I nodded.

“Don’t worry. I didn’t leave your old friends out…especially Jiyeon.” He continued.

I jumped out at the oh so familiar name.

“What? How could you?” I said.

“It’s rude to leave out your old friends at your wedding isn’t it?” my dad replied and smiled slyly.

This was just all part of this plan.

He probably knows that with Jiyeon’s character she would probably have waited for me until now…

But if she receives news of me getting married, it would be definite for her to give up.

“What’s wrong? You do know that now you should be thinking about Hyuna, not someone else.” He said.

I should have known he would do this…

I bit my lip as I imagined the look on Jiyeon’s face when she received the wedding invitation…
