Chapter 26

Eyes, the window to the soul

Dara's POV

We let go of each other and stood in the middle of living room, holding hands and jumping up and down like little children squealing.

"What are you doing here?! When did you get back?! Are you back for good?! Why didn't you tell me?! Oh my god! I missed you so much Bommie!" I rambled, as I felt happiness explode from me.

"I wanted it to be a surprise! I arrived last night, and yes... i'm back for good." she said as she broke into a wide smile.

3... 2... 1

"KYAAAAAAA!" We screamed together as we began jumping around like lunatics again.

"I missed you sooo much Ssantoki!" she whined, pouting as she dragged me to sit beside her on the sofa.

"Hmph! If you missed me so much, why did you never keep in touch?!" I harrumphed, pouting and turning my back on her, crossing my arms across my chest. I only ever heard from her twice a year in the form of a card and present for my birthday and christmas.

"Ssantoki! Don't be like that," she whined as she grabbed my arm to try and turn me around, "I really wanted to but I was so busy, please forgive me."

I turned to take a glance at her to see her pouting, her lips trembling slightly, her eyes wide and glistening with unshed tears, "Awwww! Bomataro! Of course I forgive you! I could never stay mad at you!" I threw my arms around her again and squeezed her tight.

"Erm..."

We both turned our heads towards the noise, to see Jiyong standing awkwardly in the middle of the room, his hand scratching the nape of his head.

"OMO! Kwon Jiyong?!" Bom exclaimed, letting go of me to point at him.

"Hey Bom noona," Jiyong smiled, giving her a small wave.

"Dara! Jiyong's here!" she screamed in my face, as if I didn't know and as if I hadn't just walk into the room with him.

"Aish! Bommie you just spat on my face! Yuck!" I said as I wiped her saliva off of my cheek, "Yes I know. Omma and Appa wanted to see him."

"What.. How.. Huh?" she sat there confused as she looked between Jiyong and I, "Why are you being so calm about this? Don't you hate Jiyong?" she finally asked.

"No!" I exclaimed immediately when I saw Jiyong flinch slightly at her harsh choice of words, and I couldn't help but feel guilty.

"Since when didn't you? You said he was the bane of your life, you even used to have a voodoo do--" my eyes widened as I clamped my hand across Bom's mouth, muffling the rest of her words before she could blurt out anything more. I turned to look at Jiyong hoping he didn't quite hear what she said.

No such luck.

Jiyong was stood there, his eyes narrowed at me, "Voodoo doll? Really Dara?"

I shot a glare at Bom. Great. She's been here for less than 5 minutes and she's already causing me problems. Ergh! I hate how much I love you dear cousin!

"No! She doesn't know what she's talking about, she must be making things up, I mean you know jetlag and all of that... ehehe," I said nervously, making up the most plausible excuse I could think of, which proved useless when Jiyong looked at me unconvinced.

"Eww! Bommie! That's gross!" I exclaimed, quickly pulling my hand away from after feeling her tongue my palm.

"Eh, we share the same blood, who cares?" she said nonchalantly as if it wsan't a big deal. I wiped my wet hand on her top, compltely grossed out.

She turned to face me, bringing her legs up to cross them on the sofa, "My saliva is not what is important Dara. What is important is what the hell is going on with you and Kwon over there?" she questioned, her thumb pointing over her shoulder towards the still awkwardly standing Jiyong. Why is she speaking like he isn't there?!

"NOTHING! Nothing's going on!" I exclaimed hurriedly, not wanting her to get the wrong impression.

/crunch/

My head snapped towards the source of the noise to see Sanghyun and Durami casually sitting next to each other on the sofa with a bowl of popcorn on their lap, silently observing the three of us like we were the most interesting Korean Drama.

"YAH! Look what you did you loud eater!" Durami complained, throwing a piece of popcorn at Sanghyun.

"ME?! You're the one who eats like a pig!" he retorted throwing a piece of popcorn back at her. Durami threw another piece back at him, sticking her tongue out.

"YAH! I'm older than yo--" Sanghyun stopped mid-sentence when he noticed they were the ones being watched now.

"Ehehe," the two of them giggled nervously together before standing up.

"Hey Jiyong hyung, how's it going?" Sanghyun greeted Jiyong, grabbing Jiyong's left hand with his right, giving him one of those shoulder bump thingies that guys always seemed to do.

"Good thanks, I see you've grown up alot," Jiyong chuckled as he looked Sanghyun up and down, noting how tall he was, "Is this why you're so thin Dara? Has Sanghyun been eating all the food?" he teased.

Sanghyun laughed as he gave Jiyong a light shoulder punch.

"Hello Jiyong Oppa," Durami said shyly. Durami was still quite young when the Kwons left, and although she knew who they were and who Jiyong was, she couldn't remember much so she wasn't as close or comfortable around them as Sanghyun and I.

"Hey Durami, you've grown up to be pretty like your unnie haven't you?" Jiyong complimented, ruffling her hair. Durami blushed a deep red, not knowing how to respond she hid behind Sanghyun evoking a chuckle form Jiyong.

"Yah.. did you hear what he just said? He just called you pretty!" I heard Bommie whisper in my ear as she elbowed me. I blushed hard when I realised she was right, my blush worse than Durami's. Jiyong had never complimented me before, in fact when we were younger it was quite the opposite, so to hear him so openly compliment me.. I couldn't help but blush in embarrassment, but I couldn't deny how it made me really happy to hear him say that about me.

"Yah.. Ssantoki, are you blushing?" Bom asked incredulously as she poked at my cheek in wonder, her eyes wide, as if she'd never seen my cheeks that colour before, "Are you blushing because of Kwon?!" she said in shock.

"Bom? Did you say something?" Jiyong cut in when he heard his last name, his eyes flickered to me, "Are you alright Dara? Why do you look so red?" he asked, concern in his voice.

Before I could reply Jiyong strode up to me and placed his hand on my forehead, "I don't think you have a temperature," he muttered before placing his hand on my right cheek, "Woaah, but your cheeks are really hot!"

I could feel the suspicious look of Bom as she eyed the two of us. I could practically hear the wheels in her mind working overtime as she tried to figure out what had happened between Jiyong and I whilst she was gone. I quickly pulled away from his touch incase Bom would get the wrong impression. She was always notorious for thinking up the weirdest more ludicrous things ever.

"N-no, I'm prefectly fine. It's just a bit hot.." I said lamely, fanning my face with my hands. Jiyong nodded but he didn't look convinced.

"Hmmm..." I heard Bom hum as she continued to observe Jiyong and I like lab rats, not bothered that she was making me feel extremely uncomfortable.

/ding dong/

'Saved by the bell!' I thought gratefully.

"OH! I'll get the door!" I jumped at the chance to get away from Bom's keen eye.

I opened the door and rolled my eyes, "Yah Sanghyun! Joon's here!"

"Well hello to you too my most favourite Noona," Joon said sweetly, presenting me with a bunch of flowers.

"Yah Joon, stop trying to chat Dara noona up," Sanghyun came to the door frowning. Huh, I never knew he could be so sweet and protective...

"You could do so much better," he continued, causing me to frown. 'Pffft, I can't believe I thought he was protective for even a second!'

"YAH! That's no way to talk to your noona who brought you a present," I shouted hitting him on his shoulder. If he wasn't so damn tall I may have been able to hit him on the head, it's not like he has any brain cells in there anyway.

"Yeah Sanghyun, that's no way to talk to my favourite Noona," Joon cut in, taking a protective stance in front of me. I rolled my eyes again.

"Yah, move out of my way Joon." I said as I pushed him aside and made my way back into the living room.

"Noonaaa!" I heard him whine before following me like a puppy into the living room.

"Kwon Jiyong?" Joon questioned in shock.

"Hey Joon, I see you still like to kiss Dara's ," Jiyong teased, before giving him one of those stupid one arm shoulder bumps he did with Sanghyun earlier, "Don't you know she doesn't like younger guys?"

Joon shrugged, as he sat next to me, "Nahh, She'll fall for me eventually." he said as he slung an arm over my shoulder. I shrugged it off and shifted away from him, accidentally sitting on Bom's lap.

"Yah, get off my lap you fatass," I heard Bom yell as she shoved me off.

"Now that voice only belongs to the lovely Bom Noona!" Joon said as recognition flickered in his eyes.

"Stop kissing you twerp. Sanghyun, I don't understand how you can stand this guy," Bom said as she turned to look at Sanghyun.

"What's he doing here anyway?" I asked, talking as if Joon wasn't sat just centimeters away from me.

"I let slip you were coming home tonight and he decided to invite himself over," Sanghyun explained shrugging.

Ever since we were young Lee Joon had been Sanghyun's bestfriend and playmate. When he wasn't playing with Sanghyun he would always be following me around since he had a childish crush on me. At first I didn't say anything, but then we grew up and it when from cute to downright annoying. I knew he didn't like me anymore though, he just liked to pretend like he did for old time sakes, he just saw me as an older sister now, since he was an only child.

"But that's not important. Where's that present you were talking about?" Sanghyun questioned.

"Present?" Durami perked up.

"Ji, can you pass me the bags please," I asked as I stretched my hand out for the bag.

"Ji?" Bom repeated, her eyebrows disappearing behind her fringe. Crap.

"This is for you Durami," I said passing her a small box, choosing to ignore Bom for the time being, knwoing full well she was going to pummel my with questions later anyway.

"Waaaah! Unnie! These are beautiful!" Durami gushed as she delicately picked them up.

"Where's mine!" Sanghyun demanded impatiently. I rolled my eyes at him, contemplating whether I should give it to him or not. The loving older sister within me won over.

"Here's your Ddoongie," I said passing him the bag. He quickly pulled the cap out.

"AWESOMEE!" he exclaimed as he admired the cap.

"Yah, unnie since when do you come up with such good presents? They're normally quite average," Durami asked me suspiciously, as she began to put the earrings on.

"Yeah noona, you'd never pick something like this," he said as he twirled the cap in his hand.

"What do you mean average presents?!" I exclaimed in outrage. Last time I get them presents! Ungrateful siblings!

"Well?" they asked in unison, wanting to know who helped me.

I sighed heavily before glancing up at Ji who was casually leaning against the wall, watching the sibling exchange with amusement. "Jiyong came with me and picked them out," I admitted.

"Wow! Jiyong Oppa, you have really good taste!" Durami spoke, as she looked up at him with admiration.

"Good choice Hyung!" Sanghyun complimented whilst putting the cap on his head.

Jiyong chuckled, "Thanks guys, the ones your sister picked were just as nice though," he said when he saw my forlorn look.

"Don't pity her Hyung, she'll get over it," Sanghyun said. Stupid brother, I'm going to burn all your caps you ungrateful rascal.

"Dara, come with me for a second," Bom spoke up, her voice said it all - 'You're coming whether I have to drag you out here by your hair or not.'

I glance at Jiyong to see he had now sat down on the sofa, catching up with Sanghyun and Durami. I nodded reluctantly, getting up slowly to follow her out of the room.

"What's the deal with you and Jiyong? When did you get so buddy buddy with him? Calling him Ji, letting him touch your face?" she asked the second we closed the door.

"Ssssshhh!" I hissed as I looked around, worried someone had heard. I straightened up and look her squarely in the face, "I don't know what you're talking about." I replied to her, trying to pretend, but I wasn't fooling Bom at all.

"Puh-lease. You know perfectly well what I'm talking about. You used to want to run him over with a car when you were younger, and now you're shopping with him?" she accused.

"I--"

"Girls what are you doing out here?" Appa's voice cut in. I breathed a sigh of relief. Thank you Appa, you have the best timing ever!

"We're just catching up," Bom replied smiling at Appa.

"Oh, well you girls can catch up later. It's dinner time now, call everyone in," he said before walking into the dining room.

I turned around and placed my hand on the door ready to open it when Bom spoke.

"Don't think you can get away with this Ssantoki. You will explain this to me," she said with certainty before following Appa into the dining room.

I gulped loudly. Man... CL was bad... But Bom... She was on a whole other level, especially when she transformed into the might Bominator.

"Guys it's dinner," I said, opening the door for them to walk through.

"Today's been full of surprises hasn't it?" I heard Jiyong comment as he walked beside me.

"Tell me about it," I said as we entered the kitchen.

I sat down at the table as I eyed all the dishes. Omma had really out done her self this time... There was enough to feed ten thousand people here.

I heard the chair beside me scrape indicating someone was about to sit. I glanced up and saw Joon grinning down at me.

"I believe that's my seat," I heard Jiyong say before Joon's grinning face disappeared and Jiyong plopped down beside me.

"Yah Hyung! That was uncalled for!" I heard Joon whine, as he took a seat on the other side of the table.

I smiled in amusement when I felt someone staring at me from across the table. I looked up and met Bom's eyes. Her eyes flickered from Jiyong to me before she raised one of her eyebrows, as if to say 'That's what i'm talking about'. I quickly looked away from her and began eating since everyone was now seated.

"It feels so good to have so many people around the dinner table! Eat up everybody!" Omma beamed, giving us all a motherly smile.

"Jiyong, eat lots neh?" Omma said as she scooped up a generous helping of food, placing it into Jiyong's bowl.

"Thanks Imo," Jiyong smiled gratefully, "It's been so long since I've had a home cooked dinner. Your cooking is just as good as I remembered it." Jiyong complimented.

"Nonsense! I'm sure your Omma cooks for you all the time!" Omma exclaimed as she placed some fish into Bom's bowl. I watched Jiyong carefully, to see his reaction. As I suspected he tensed up slightly.

He didn't bother replying or refuting Omma's assumptions, instead choosing to continue eating quietly - unfortunately for him Appa had other plans.

"So how are the folks Jiyong? How's dami too?" he asked, as he took a swig of beer.

This time he completely froze, his eyes trained on his food. I saw the grip on his chopsticks tighten, his eyes flickered to me, feeling my gaze on him. I gasped slightly when his eyes met mine. They were ice cold, just like the night he'd stormed out of the restaurant. This wasn't good.

"They're.... Fine," Jiyong replied through gritted teeth as he angrily shoved some food into his mouth.

I looked around the table to see that no one else seemed to be bothered by his reaction. Couldn't they see what I was seeing? Why were they oblivious to Jiyongs sudden change in demeanour?

"That's good to hear, we should all meet up some time," Appa continued, oblivious to the way Jiyong was suddenly acting up.

I could feel the icy aura radiating off of Jiyong and I knew I had to do something about it.

I faked a cough, "So Joon, how's school?" It was lame, but I knew I could count on Joon to ramble on and on. He wouldn't let anyone else get a word in edge ways, and that's exactly what I wanted. To prevent Omma and Appa from asking Jiyong questions that he obviously didn't want to answer.

Just as I predicted Joon talked and talked, and when he'd finally finished speaking the attention was far away from Jiyong.

Dinner finished without another hitch, and I could tell that Jiyong had now relaxed again.

"You kids go into the living room I'll just clean up here, then I'll bring out some fruit neh?" Omma said as she tried to usher us out.

She didn't need to tell Sanghyun, Joon and Durami twice, the three of them rushing out of the room like their asses were on fire, making their way into the laziness of the living room.

"It's okay Imo, you sit back and relax. Let us tidy up," Jiyong said as he steered Omma to sit down beside Appa.

"I'll wash up," Bom volunteered as she pulled the gloves on and immediately got to work on the dishes.

"I'll make the fruit then," I said as I opened the fridge and began taking out different fruits. I placed them on the table next to a large dish which the fruit would be placed on, then opened the cupboard above to get the chopping board. 'Ergh! Why is it so high up?!' I mentally complained as I went on my tiptoes to try and grab the board.

"I'll help you," I heard Jiyong say as he stood behind me and easily took the board out for me, placing it on the counter.

"Thanks," I murmured, "Here, you can peel the apples and then I'll cut them up." I said as I handed him an apple and a knife.

Whilst I waited for Jiyong to peel the first apple I opened the box of strawberries and began picking off the green stalks before placing them on the plate.

'Hmm.. They look tasty' I thought to myself before I took a bite out of one.

"Oooh, this ones quite sour," I said, scrunching up my face from the sourness, instinctively holding the other half out for Jiyong to try. His eyes were still trained on the apple he was peeling, when he opened his mouth. I popped the remainder of the strawberry in and watched him chew.

"I think it's quite sweet," he objected after he swallowed it.

"You think everything's sweet," I said rolling my eyes before continuing to pull off the green stalks.

"Omo, they're so cute," I heard someone giggle. I turned around to see my parents whispering to each other whilst glancing at Jiyong and I, then giggling like crazy. 'What are they giggling about?' I thought, my eyebrows raised in curiosity. 'They've seriously lost the plot. Now I know where I get my weirdness from.'

"Here you go," Jiyong placed the neatly peeled apple on the chopping board, ready for me to dice up.

I cut the apple down the middle in half, putting one half to the side whilst I worked on the other half. I cut the half in half again before beginning to remove the hard section that encased the seeds, when I felt someone grab my arm. I turned my head to look at Jiyong questioningly.

"If you continue to cut like that, we're going to end up eating bloody apples," he said, "You shouldn't hold your knife like that, you may slip and end up fingerless." he continued, in seriousness, no signs of teasing in his voice.

Before I knew what he was doing Jiyong was stood directly behind me, his chest connecting with my back with his chin resting on my head as he put his hands over my hands and began chopping the apple with me, guiding me.

I blushed a deep red. I could feel his chest heave up and down against my back as he breathed, the heat radiating from him onto my back. I was soon redder than the strawberries - who by the way I swear were teasing me. I felt a heavy gaze coming from someone near the sink. Oh . Nothing passes her keen eyes does it?!

"Omo Omo!" the giggling from before increasing ten fold.

I discreetly glanced to the right to see Omma and Appa giggling behind their hands giddily, their eyes trained on Jiyong and I.

"*cough* Uh... Ji... I-I think I got it now." I stuttered as I pushed his hand away, feeling the searing stare of my cousin.

"Okay," he said before letting go of my hands and moving back to stand beside me, working on the next apple.

I briefly glanced to the left to see Bom had finished washing up and was now watching me like a hawk. Aw man...

"Ouch!" I yelped as I dropped the knife I was holding. My eyes diverted to my hands to see I had lightly sliced my finger. It wasn't a big deal though, it wasn't deep. It looked a bit like a paper cut, and there was only a tiny bulb of blood that had escaped from the wound. Apparently Jiyong didn't think so.

"Yah! What did I tell you about holding the knife safely?!" he reprimanded as he placed his knife and half peeled apple down onto the table before grabbing my finger to inspect the cut.

"It's not a big deal Ji, it doesn't even hurt that much, I'll just run it under the  ta--"

I abruptly stopped, my eyes widening as I watched everything go by in slow motion. Jiyong pulled my finger up towards his lips, then placed the tip of my finger in his mouth and lightly , running his tongue over the small cut.

My jaw dropped as I watched him. He brought my bloodless finger out and looked at it, "There you go, all better" he said, beaming down at my finger, as if what he just did was the most normal thing in the whole world.

I didn't even need to turn around to know that Bom, Omma and Appa were gawking at us. Oh god... The humiliation!

I swung my jaw shut, pulling my finger away from his grasp and awkwardly coughed. "I-I'm j-just going to get a plaster," I said before scurrying out of the room, away from the prying eyes of my parents and cousin.

I went into the bathroom and grabbed a box of plasters taking a strip out. I sat down on the cold bathroom floor and looked at my finger in fascination. I blushed as I thought about what he had done. I didn't even think I needed the plaster anymore... I just wanted to leave the room as soon as possible. I quickly placed the plaster over my finger, hoping that it would stop the image from popping up in my head.

I slowly made my way back downstairs and stood outside the dining room nervously. What was I supposed to do now? Just stroll in like nothing happened? I took a deep breathe before walking in, avoiding Bom's gaze. I walked back to where I was previously, to see that Jiyong had done all the fruit already.

"Waah, Jiyong you cut fruit so beautifully," Omma praised as she glanced at the plate.

"Come on let's take it into the living room," Appa spoke as he picked up the full plate and lead us into the living room.

I was thankful that Omma and Appa didn't say anything about what happened, but there was one other witness to what happened - one that wouldn't let anything go.

"Yah.. Are you guys dating?" I heard Bom whisper into my ear. I immediately shook my head vehemently my eyes widening. What the hell?! Why would she think that?! See! I knew this would happen! Bom always jumped to conclusions!!!

"Hmm..." she hummed as she eyed me, unconvinced.

We joined Sanghyun, Durami and Joon in the living room, who were busy watching a variety show. We all sat down, our eyes trained on the television and began to eat the fruit.

I picked up a piece of apple and the image of Jiyong helping me chop the apples flashed in my mind, shortly followed by the scene where he'd my finger. I immediately put it back down and reached for some grapes.

"You love apples, I never thought you'd put one down for grapes," Bom said her voice heavy with implication.

I shrugged, "Just felt like having grapes," I said, hoping she would just stop observing me and stop coming up with all these weird ideas.

"Omma, Appa it's getting late. Ji and I best be heading back," I said as I stood up, Jiyong standing up with me.

"Dara! You're not staying over?!" Omma asked shocked.

"Oh well I can if you want? I still have my clothes here," I said and Omma nodded eagerly, wanting me to stay the night.

"Okay Ji, I'll see you at school then," I  said as I began to lead him to the door.

"Dara! What are you doing?!" I heard Omma reprimand me.

I turned back confused, "Seeing Jiyong out of the house?"

"In this weather?! It's like a storm out there! It's pouring buckets outside! What kind of mother would I be if I allowed Jiyong to go home in this weather?!" Omma exclaimed dramatically.

I looked out the window and my face immediately turned into this: -____-

"Omma, it's hardly even raining, it's just spitting slightly," I told her, rolling my eyes at her over-exaggeration of small rain droplets.

"Nonsense! Jiyong, you're staying and that's final!" Omma said, stomping her foot like a child. I seriously wonder how she brought up three children when she's practically still a child herself.

"Okay Imo," Jiyong agreed smoothly, not seeming to be bothered about if he would stay or not.

"Fine," I said in defeat, "Well I'm tired I want to go to bed." I declared as I began to make my way out of the living room.

"Dara wait! We need to sort out the sleeping arrangements!" Appa called out to me.

"What sleeping arrangements? I'm sleeping in my room," I said as I watched my parents shift around, having a silent conversation with their eyes, "Right?"

"Well Joon is staying over too," Omma blurted.

"I am?" Joon asked surprised, looking like this was news to him to.

"Yeah, and he's got a bad back so he'll have to sleep in your room," Omma continued.

"I Do?" Joon asked again, looking confused. Omma quickly shot him a look and he immediately nodded.

"Uh.. Yeah! My back is reaaally bad noona. I need a proper bed," he said as he began to rub his back to illustrate his point.

'Something's fishy here.' I thought suspiciously, as I eyes my parents and Joon, who seemed to be slightly confused.

"Okay, I'll just sleep on the sofa then." I said, as I went to sit on the sofa to wait for everyone to go to bed before going to sleep.

"N-NO!" Omma cried out again, I looked up at her to see her thinking really hard, before her face brightened up. I could practically see a light bulb over her head. "Your Appa's sleeping on the sofa tonight."

"I AM?!" I heard Appa exclaim in surprise.

"Uh... I mean.. YEAH! I was really bad and your Omma said I have to sleep on the sofa tonight," Appa said, looking all crest fallen. What the hell? They were perfectly fine just moments ago? Omma had never kicked Appa onto the sofa before.

"Where the hell am I supposed to sleep then?!" I cried out in frustration causing everyone to jump.

"In the guest room," Omma replied simply, as if it was obvious.

"Huh? But isn't that where Jiyo--" my eyes widened. NO FRICKIN' way!!

"You want me to sleep in the same room as Jiyong?!" I said incredulously, my voice raising a few octaves.

"It's not like you haven't done it before Dara," Appa chipped in.

"That was when we were kids! Plus the guys and girls were there too!!" I shouted. Oh my god. This could not be happening to me right now.

"Oh come on Dara, it's just one night," Appa said as if I was making a big deal over nothing. Isn't he supposed to be the one stopping me from sharing rooms with guys till I reach my forties?! Why is he practically throwing me into a room with one?!

"I'll just bunk with Durami then," I concluded, glad I'd come up with a solution.

"No you won't," Durami refuted as she crossed her arms across her chest, grinning, enjoying the look of shock that crossed my face at her refusal, "I can't stand sleeping on the same bed as you. Besides Bom unnie is sleeping with me."

Nooooooo! Why are they all ganging up against me!

Durami turned towards Jiyong with a mischievous look on her face, "Oppa I'd wear some protection if I were you. Unnie can get very violent." she advised him.

Jiyong chuckled, "Duly noted, thanks for the heads up."

WAAAAAHHHT?! Why is he not bothered by this? Why am I the only one fighting for this not to happen?! Why is he already accepting it?! Like it's not a big deal when it clearly is!!

"Don't be so dramatic Dara, after all you and Jiyong are just friends right? So what's to be scared of?" Bom piped in, her eyes shining with pure evil, as she looked at me, trying to get me to call her bluff.

I whimpered as I looked around the room hoping to find at least one person who would help me fight my case.

No one.

I slumped my shoulders in defeat as I realised what was going to happen. I was going to have to sleep in the same room as Kwon Jiyong. Tonight.
