Chapter 79 - Are you out of your mind, Taeng?

Taeyeon was sitting on the bed with a stern look on his face. The thoughts of what Yuri told him about what Siwon did to Tiffany made his blood boil. And the fact that Tiffany kept it from him despite promising him that she will never keep anything from him again made him want to explode. He heard Tiffany opening the door into their room, after putting Jung Hee to sleep.

"Bother explaining?"Taeyeon crossed his arms at the sight of him wife. He can't help but to get angry.

"Explain what, TaeTae?"Tiffany knew Taeyeon was mad at her and she felt scared of an angry Taeyeon. She never seen Taeyeon this angry before.

"Don't pretend that you don't know what we are talking about. Why did you keep it from me?"Taeyeon gritted his teeth.

"I..."Tiffany actually didn't dare to explain because she knows that no matter how much she explains, Taeyeon will not believe her this time. It's a totally different thing.

"You what? You forgot?"Taeyeon snarled.

"I.. I just d-don't want you to w-worry.."Tiffany felt her tears forming in her eyes from Taeyeon's harsh attitude. She knows it's quite difficult for Taeyeon to forgive her this time round.

"Oh! I see, you didn't want me to worry. Try harder, Fany ah. It's always the same excuse when I eventually find out your secret."

"S-sorry.."Tiffany gripped onto her night gown as she felt Taeyeon's words stabbing her in her heart. She felt scared from all the recent cases with Siwon and the least she wanted was Taeyeon to not help her and to protect her from her fears.

"Sorry? Do you actually think a sorry can actually repair my pride?"

"I d-didn't mean to.. I-I just wanted you to f-fully recover f-first."Tiffany fiddled with her night gown, hoping that Taeyeon will let her go this time. She felt her own tears running down her cheeks.

"You had so many days to tell me, Fany ah."Taeyeon gulped when he heard Tiffany's sniff but he decided to stand firm.

"What next? Heck, maybe he even touched you just that I didn't know."Taeyeon ruffled his hair in anger and he dropped himself against the headrest. Tiffany was quite surprised that these kind of words can actually come out from his mouth. She is not blaming Taeyeon because this is her fault.

"Why aren't you reply?"

"Did he really touch you?"Taeyeon more even more mad when he got no response from Tiffany except even more sobbing. He knows she is in pain.

"I-I am s-sorry, Tae. F-forgive me please..."Tiffany covered her face with her hands as she sobbed in her hands, not wanting Taeyeon to see her cry. She doesn't like it when people witness her in that state.

"How you do expect me to react, Fany ah? Get out. I don't want to see you. You deserve this."Taeyeon walked towards Tiffany and he softened his tone. His heart softened at the sight of her crying so badly in front of him and what's more her tears are because of him.

"S-sorry."Tiffany's cries got harder. She didn't expect Taeyeon to treat her this way, she desperately want his comfort.

"You disgust me."Taeyeon's words once again stabbed her heart for the hundredth time tonight. She felt like giving up and not caring about picking herself up anymore. She bite her lips to suppress her cries and made her way out of the room.

What am I going to do now? - Tiffany

Taeyeon woke up with the help of his alarm clock. He turned to his side, wanting to hug Tiffany but she wasn't there. Reality struck him that he fought with Tiffany last night and he can't help but to feel guilty. It wasn't exactly a fight but it was Taeyeon getting angry. He quickly showered and got out of his room. He was greeted with a breakfast on the table and he saw a note on top of it but his wife was no where to be found.

Good morning, Tae. I know you wouldn't want to see me right now but please don't skip your breakfast because of this. Don't go to work with an empty stomach. The orange juice is in the fridge. I just squeezed it this morning.

To be honest, he miss Tiffany and he yearn to see her now but his pride was too huge. He looked at the food, it was of the same portion, maybe with an extra piece of bacon. No burnt, all perfect. He took one last look and decided not to eat it. He walked up to Jung Hee's room to see Tiffany sleeping on the cold, hard floor. His heart ached because he knows that it must be uncomfortable and painful for the back. He made sure that the little one is tucked warmly under his covers and he planted a kiss on his forehead before he left for work.

"Ma.. Ma.."Jung Hee stretched himself in his small crib and he slowly kick his blanket away from him.

"Yes, sweetie?"Tiffany yawned and stretched herself as well. Her back and neck is aching from sleeping on the hard floor. She stood up and picked Jung Hee up in her arms. Tiffany rubbed Jung Hee's back as she knows that Jung Hee enjoys back rub especially when he just wake up.

"Did you sleep well?"Tiffany smiled at Jung Hee's sleepy look, a sight at is so endearing to her. 
"Only you will talk to mommy now."Tiffany let out a bitter chuckle as she remembers the fight last night. That lead her to walk out of the baby's room to see if Taeyeon has eaten his breakfast. Her face fell when she saw that the breakfast she prepared was left untouched. She woke up earlier today to prepare breakfast for Taeyeon so that Taeyeon won't see her in the morning. Unknowingly, Tiffany's eyes started turning red and those tears fell once again.

He is that mad at me to the extend that he doesn't want breakfast. - Tiffany

As if Jung Hee understands, he put one of his hands on Tiffany's face to comfort her. He started talking to Tiffany in a language that only he understands.

"I know you are being nice, Jungie. I appreciate it."That managed to soothe her a little but she is still yearning for Taeyeon's warmth and love.

"I love you, Jungie."Tiffany kissed Jung Hee on the cheek and she wiped away her tears. Her head is giving her pain from too much crying last night and today.

Text message

From: Siwon
To: Tiffany 

I got you lunch, sweetie. I went to queue for the famous fish and chips in town. I want you to try. And I got you fruit juice. Open the door for me. 

A message came in during lunch hour and Tiffany is in the kitchen feeding Jung Hee his porridge. She saw the preview of the text message and she felt scared and clueless. She didn't know what she should do. What if she opens the door and Siwon suddenly barge in and something happened. Nobody is there to protect her.

"Don't make noise, Jungie."Tiffany quickly carried Jung Hee into her arms with one hand holding the bowl of warm porridge.

"Sshhh.."She quickened her pace as Jung Hee started speaking again while she climbs up the stair to their room. Tiffany hurriedly got into Jung Hee's room and she locked the door. She put Jung Hee down on the floor and slowly close the window. She doesn't want to close it too fast as the noise produced can be heard. She draw the curtains and turn on the air con.

"We need to stay here for a while, Jungie.. Open your mouth."Tiffany scoop some porridge in the spoon and fed Jung Hee. Jung Hee is not a quiet baby but yet he is calm. He doesn't cry as much as any other babies but he always give his mother his smile.

"Good boy."Tiffany felt that Jung Hee is cooperating with her and she felt relieve though the constantly ringing of bell every minute is making her heart race like crazy.

Text message

From: Siwon

To: Tiffany

I know you are inside. Why aren't you opening the door for me?

Tiffany nearly dropped her phone on the floor when she saw the text message. She took her phone and called Jessica.

"Hello, Tiff? What's up?"Jessica sounded like she is chewing something in , most probably her lunch. It's the lunch hour, that explains why Siwon is here.

"Jess, c-could you do m-me a favour?"

"Sure. What is it? Did something happen? Why do you sound like that?"Jessica sense her best friend's voice slightly shakey.

"Could you find a reason to call S-Siwon back to the office?"Tiffany took a deep breathe before she spoke, not wanting Jessica to sense her quivering voice.

"Why? He is having lunch now. He won't come back to the office now."

"He is o-outside my h-house. I'm s-scared, Jess. He wouldn't stop r-ringing the bell. W-what do i do?"Tiffany finally broke down yet again, letting fear engulf her.

"What?! Tiff, he is obessed with you. Call Taeng now."Even Jessica is feeling worried for her best friend's safety.

"I c-can't. Tae doesn't want to s-see me. He is a-angry.."

"Over you hiding things about Siwon from him? Is he out of his mind? At such a critical period, he is angry at you and refuse to do anything to protect you?"

"Y-yeah, it's my f-fault for k-keeping it from him. I d-deserve this..."

No, you don't deserve this Fany ah. Tae, are you crazy? Protect your wife before she is taken away. Exams are coming, i'll just stop here for now and update after that. Sorry for this boring chapter.. zzz..
