Chapter 65 - Kim Jung Hee

The nurses assist Tiffany back to her ward by pushing her bed to her the room. Taeyeon was walking and holding Tiffany's hand all the while as Tiffany doesn't want Taeyeon to let go of her hand. Tiffany was still red from all the pushing and screaming she had just now. The doctor then talked to Taeyeon privately outside of her ward. It's nothing serious but he is just briefing Taeyeon about some possible things that Tiffany will be going through. Taeyeon walked back into Tiffany's ward and he saw that the blanket was covering Tiffany's face and her back was facing him. He thought that she was sleeping so he didn't disturb her and just let her rest. He was wrong when he heard sniffing sounds coming from Tiffany. Instantly, the thought of what the doctor told him came to his mind. Traumatized.

"Honey.."Taeyeon went closer to Tiffany and pulled the covers down. Tiffany weakly looked at Taeyeon in the eyes.

"What's wrong?"Taeyeon her soft pinkish skin before he lean down to kiss her on the cheek. His heart broke when he saw her so fragile. 

"Where is J-Jung Hee? Is t-there something w-wrong with him?"Tiffany asked as she still hasn't seen him yet. Tiffany was waiting for Taeyeon's answer but was interrupted when someone walked in.

"Hi my dear! How are you feeling?"Mrs Kim cheerfully greeted before Mr Kim walks in behind her. She wasn't aware for Tiffany's condition.

"Do you---"Mrs Kim stopped what she wanted to ask when she saw Tiffany's reddish eyes. Taeyeon also signaled to Mrs Kim to stop her from probing further. Mrs Kim got the cue, she and Mr Kim left the room for the couple to be alone. Taeyeon sat down beside Tiffany and her forehead gently.

"He is fine, darling. The doctors are giving him a check to make sure that everything is okay. Don't worry, Fany ah. Is this the reason why you're crying?"Taeyeon held her hand to give her moral support. He smiled when Tiffany nodded her head. The child-like side of Tiffany is showing. 

"And a-also because the birth p-procedure was so s-scary."Tiffany shivered at the thought of the labour pain and pouted.

"It's okay. It's over now. TaeTae is here. I'm so proud of you just now."Taeyeon praised her as he knows that Tiffany feels a whole lot better when Taeyeon shows his care for her. Tiffany managed to calm down after Taeyeon's words. He kissed her pouting lips, making her smile as well. 

"Don't cry anymore. My heart hurts so badly."Taeyeon rubbed her back gently. A knock on the door was heard and a while later the door swung open.

"Mr and Mrs Kim, Jung Hee is here to visit you!"The nurse said cheerfully as she push the baby crib into the ward. Tiffany's eyes shone brightly when she heard her baby's name being called.

"He is such a cute baby! We just fed him milk so he shouldn't be hungry until a few hours later."The nurse carefully carried Jung Hee out of the crib. Taeyeon saw that and quickly helped Tiffany sit up. He knows that Tiffany was so eager to see the baby. The nurse smiled at Jung Hee before she passed him to Tiffany. 

"There's is nothing wrong with Jung Hee, he is perfect. I'll leave you guys alone. Call me if you need anything!"The nurse walked out of the ward quietly to give the family some time alone.

"TaeTae.."Tiffany stared at Jung Hee and she was so amazed at the love that she and Taeyeon have for each other. Jung Hee is the symbol of their love.  

"Yes, honey?"Taeyeon the baby's forehead and made some silly faces. 

"H-he looked so much l-like you.."Tiffany's eyes started to get teary again as the feeling of having her own baby with Taeyeon was overwhelming and it was difficult to belief that he is actually in this world already. 

"Are you crying again?"Taeyeon put his arms around his wife's waist and pulled her closer to him.

"Don't cry, sweetheart. I hope these tears are tears of joy."Taeyeon turned to kiss Tiffany on the cheek.

"Hey, darling. This is mommy. And that is daddy."Tiffany's voice quivered as she spoke. The baby looked at Tiffany with his small eyes. 

"Sshhhh..."Taeyeon pushed Tiffany's head into his chest and comforted her.

"It's not fair, TaeTae. He inherit almost all of your genes. He has your nose, your eyes and your lips."

"Are you jealous? Well, we could make another one. I'm planning to have a soccer team with you."Taeyeon kissed Tiffany on the top of her head and wrapped his arms around her. Tiffany's playfully slapped Taeyeon on the chest and whined.

"Okay okay. Do you want to take a rest, Fany ah? I'll take care of Jung Hee."Taeyeon volunteered as he knows that his wife is tired. He continued to rub Tiffany's back up and down.

"I'll put him to bed first, TaeTae."Tiffany's head left Taeyeon's chest. 

"Carry him, TaeTae. You haven't carried him at all."Tiffany carefully passed Jung Hee over to Taeyeon, taking into consideration how soft the baby's neck is. The baby slightly struggled as he is being passed to Taeyeon. He almost cried but the new parents managed to calm him down.

"It's okay, darling."Tiffany gently rubbed the baby's chest who is in Taeyeon's arms.

"I think he inherited your crying genes."Taeyeon joked.

"Yah! Babies cry because they can't speak. That's their only way of communication!"

"I know I know. I was just joking. Geez, my ears."Taeyeon rubbed his ears. 

"Thank you, Fany."Unknowingly, a smile was plastered on both their faces as they admire the baby that they made together. 

"Thank you, TaeTae."Tiffany stretched herself to kiss Taeyeon on his lips. She then rest her back on Taeyeon. 

"Look, his eyes are closing."Taeyeon showed Tiffany the baby as he pat Jung Hee's back.

"Let him sleep."Tiffany also helped in putting Jung Hee to sleep. She gently pat the baby's chest while Taeyeon pat the back. Taeyeon hummed a lullaby for Jung Hee and it actually made Tiffany sleepy as well. 

"Are you hungry, honey?"Taeyeon just remembered that Tiffany might be hungry after that strenuous birth. He is hungry, what's more Tiffany. The both of them are so busy admiring Jung Hee that he forgot about their stomach. Tiffany shook her head.

"I don't want to eat, TaeTae."

"Why? Aren't you hungry? I'm hungry, you should be hungry as well."Taeyeon spoke softly as he does not want to disrupt his baby's sleep. 

"I don't feel like eating."Tiffany looked for her phone to take a picture for Taeyeon. 

"Look here, TaeTae."Tiffany held her phone in front of her and asked Taeyeon to pose for the camera. 

"Nice."Tiffany smiled at the photo and sent it to Taeyeon. 

"I'm going to send this to our group chat with YulSic and SooNa." Taeyeon saw the phone screen lit up, indicating that Tiffany's photo to Taeyeon have already reached his phone. 

"Help me take one please."Tiffany waved her pink iPhone in front of Taeyeon before she carried Jung Hee in her arms. Taeyeon took her phone and snap a picture and he sent it to himself. He put the phone down on the table and rolled the crib over to the bed so that Tiffany can put Jung Hee into the crib.

"TaeTae, where is mommy and daddy? I feel bad. Show Jung Hee to them, I'm sure they are anticipating."

"Have a mouth please, honey."Taeyeon put a spoonful of creamy pasta in front of Tiffany's mouth but she is not eating. 

"I promised to come to the cafe with you but I told you that I'm not eating."Tiffany pouted. 

"Aren't you hungry? It's almost 8 am. I only cheered you on and supporting you but I'm already feeling hungry. How can you not feel hungry when you did so much pushing?"

"Don't worry, TaeTae. I'll eat when I'm hungry later."Tiffany held Taeyeon's hand and turned  his hand to shove the spoon of pasta into his mouth. 

"I love you."Tiffany quickly added and then a heart melting eyesmile to stop Taeyeon from arguing. 

"You're starting your feed this morning, Fany. Aish.. I have to share you with Jung Hee. That used to be mine and only I have excess to it."Taeyeon mumbled under his breathe and frowned. Tiffany saw that sight and she giggled before pinching Taeyeon's cheek. 

"Aigoo.. Is Jung Hee's daddy jealous?"Tiffany teased. She took a sip of her hot chocolate while imagining feeding her baby.

"That will be so awkward."Tiffany pursed her lower lips. 

"I'm sure. But it's okay."Taeyeon smiled and gave Tiffany's hand a squeeze.

"Gently hold Jung Hee closer to you."The nurse guided Tiffany into feeding her child. She have just taught the couple how to change the baby's diaper and now she is teaching Tiffany how to feed Jung Hee. Taeyeon hold onto Tiffany's hospital blouse to prevent the top from entering Jung Hee's mouth.

"It feels ticklish."Tiffany giggled but she still make sure that Jung Hee is still properly in her hold. Taeyeon smiled at the mother and son moment. His earlier jealousy was somewhat gone. Taeyeon push Tiffany's head onto his chest and kissed it. 

"While Jung Hee is feeding, you might want to talk to him or you can rub his back."The nurse held Jung Hee's head while her thumb the baby's soft cheek. Tiffany saw that and she follow suit. 

"He will be more able to feel your love."Tiffany nodded as she listens to whatever the nurse is telling her.

"Daddy can try talking to him too."The nurse added. 

"Jung Hee ah, remember to leave some for daddy, don't finish everything. I know you don't mind sharing with me."

"Yah, TaeTae!!"Tiffany blushed and slapped Taeyeon's chest hard. The nurse wanted to laugh but she stopped herself and held it in.

"Ouch. Your mommy is so violent."Taeyeon rubbed his chest before he rubbed the baby's back. 

"Drink well, Jungie. Daddy loves you."

Ok marshmallows, a quick update. This would probably be the last update.  Tomorrow I'm having school exams on history and chemistry. And for the rest of the week ><" wish me luck. *stress mode on* These two are the subjects that I always fail, like seriously. After this exams is my real national O levels exams. Till then, see you at end November with chapter 66.. :) I hope you'll stay with me. annyeong.
