Chapter 54 - Always with you

 

Taeyeon was still lying on the bed after since Tiffany left for the balcony. His mind have yet to digest what have happened. To bring her or not to bring her? That was what he have on his mind right now. On the other hand, Tiffany is furious that Taeyeon doesn't want Tiffany to come along with him. She promised not to disturb him when he's busy. She was starting to shiver as the night gets colder and colder. It is almost impossible to stand out there for long with just a tank top and a pair of short pants. Just when she was going to have goosebumps, a warmth suddenly embrace her. She stiffened in the beginning but she relaxed after she know who it was, her husband. After enjoying those few seconds of warmth, she remembered the reason why she is out in the balcony and she moved away from him but Taeyeon managed to pull her back.

 

"Don't go, my dear."

 

"Let me go. I don't want to get too clingy to you the next few days. I won't be able to let you go afterwards."Tiffany struggled to be released from his hold. To be honest, she was kinda melting in his embrace.

 

"I'm not letting you go."

 

"Why not? You must be tired. Go to sleep, TaeTae."Tiffany went back into their room before she head to the kitchen for a drink

 

"Where are you going?"

 

"To the kitchen."Tiffany replied nonchalantly as she shuffled to the kitchen, trying to think of how she's going to live life without her husband.

 

Taeyeon ruffled his hair as he was confused whether to bring her or not. He can't live without her as well. Taeyeon then gingerly followed her to the kitchen. 

 

"W-why are you here?"Tiffany was surprised when she saw Taeyeon walking into the kitchen after she settled down.

 

"Fany.."Taeyeon grab her hand that was on the table.

 

"Don't blame me if I can't let you go when you have to leave."She pulled her hand away again.

 

"I'm sorry.."Taeyeon took her hand again and kissed it.

 

"For what? You don't have to, TaeTae."Tiffany caress his face with her right hand.

 

"Do you want to go to the States with me?"Taeyeon asked as he starts to feel unsafe leaving Tiffany all alone in Korea.

 

"No matter how much I want to, I can't."

 

"Let's go to the states together. You will come with me."Taeyeon walked to Tiffany and turn the high chair around so that Tiffany is facing him.

 

"Neh. It's alright, I will be fine here. Don't worry, TaeTae. I don't want to burden you."Tiffany avoided his gaze as she doesn't want to look at him directly in the eyes.

 

"Why? Don't you want to come with me?"Taeyeon voice is filled with sadness as he finally made a decision to let his wife come with him but she doesn't want. 

 

"Nothing."Tiffany fiddled with her fingers and fidget in her seat. Taeyeon unlock his iPhone and went to the airlines website to book a ticket. He then filled in all of Tiffany's particulars.

 

"With just a press on screen, the ticket will be booked."Taeyeon showed his phone to his wife who then looked at him.

 

"Tae..."She whined and tried to take the phone away from him but she failed.

 

"What is it, baby? Tell me why does my pink baby not want to go."Taeyeon put his phone on the table before he pull Tiffany closer to him.

 

"I don't want to force you to bring me there. I want you to do it on your own will."

 

"I am. I want to bring you there."Taeyeon pecked her lips gently.

 

"Really?"

 

"Yes, my beautiful baby. I feel sad when I want you to come with me but you don't want. Come with me, please..."Taeyeon sway his body slightly, trying to use his aegyo on Tiffany.

 

"Alright. I will go."Tiffany can't contain her happiness.

 

"Really? Yay! My princess decided to go with me!"Taeyeon start jumping around the kitchen, showing his happiness. He then when back to the table to retrieve his phone to book the ticket.

 

"Dork."Tiffany cringed her nose at him.

 

"Your dork."Taeyeon said and carried her bridal style to their room.

 

"One kiss per step, okay honey?"Taeyeon took his first step on the stairs and kiss her forehead. The second step on her nose.

 

"Stop playing, TaeTae. We will take forever to reach our room."Tiffany pushed his face away.

 

"Ew. You're no fun."Taeyeon pursed his lower lips.

 

"Later, okay?"Tiffany struggled to hold onto Taeyeon to kiss his lips.

 

"That's much better."Taeyeon smiled after he received the kiss.

 

"Now you have to start moving or else I'm going to sleep in your arms."

 

"Are you tired already? I thought we can do something else."

 

"Of course I'm tired after a long day at work. What do you want to do, TaeTae? I might consider it if you tell me."Tiffany listened attentively and anticipate what her husband is going to say.

 

"You know.. Something that couples do.."A smirk was plastered on Taeyeon's face as he wriggled his eyebrow.

 

"Yah! You're so dirty!"Tiffany blushed as she slap her hushband's chest.

 

"That's very normal you know. We're not normal if we don't do that."Taeyeon quickly defended himself.

 

"Stop there, TaeTae."Tiffany held up her hand with her palm facing her husband, signaling him to stop his dirty mind.

 

"Why? What's wrong with me thinking about that?"

 

"Not today, TaeTae. I'm tired."

 

"Alright alright. I'll wait for you."

 

"Thank you, TaeTae. I love you."

 

"I love you too, my sweetheart."Taeyeon rub his nose with hers.

 

 

 

 

 

"Kim Taeyeon! It's time to wake up!"Tiffany shouted at the top of her lungs and her voice echoed in the hotel room. She have been trying to wake her husband up for the past 15 minutes.

 

"Yes yes, Fany ah."Taeyeon scrambled to sit up after he heard his wife shouting at him. 

 

"You're going to be late for your meeting! I told you to sleep early last night."Tiffany nagged as she remembered how much noise she was making last night wanting to get him to bed.

 

"Sshhhh... Don't nag anymore. Can I get my morning kiss now?"Taeyeon crawled towards his wife and pull her closer to him.

 

"Aish.. Why aren't you scared of me..?"Tiffany sighed and plopped onto his lap.

 

"We're having jet lags and stuff like that. It's normal to be tired, Fany ah."It's true that they have to adapt to the different time zone.

 

"Go shower now and we will have breakfast at the restaurant downstairs."Tiffany crawled out of his embrace to take clothes for him from their shared luggage.

 

"Thank you, wifey."Taeyeon took the clothes that Tiffany chose for him and went to the toilet. But before that, he kissed his wife on the lips.

 

"You stink."Tiffany wanted to dodge from the kiss but she was slightly to late.

 

 

 

 

The couple was walking down the streets of Washington after their heavy dinner. As they enjoy the cooling breeze that was blowing against their faces, one of the latter broke the silence.

 

"TaeTae.."Tiffany squeezed his hand.

 

"Yes, darling? Are you cold?"Taeyeon took her hand with his and put it in his pocket. Tiffany smiled at that action.

 

"Let's have our own... Baby.."Tiffany said the last part softly as she looked away.
