Chapter 67 : Is that you ?

I looked at the last piece of Ddeokbokki on my plate.

I placed it inside of my mouth as I started chewing sadly.

Where could she be? It has been 12 effin years that I haven't seen her. . . I thought.

KRIS' POV :

Lay and I separated as I walked alone in the park near Myeongdong.

I walked without caring about whats happening.

I have been thinking about my little sister.

I wonder how she is now, how she looks, how tall she is and even how's her health.

I sat on a bench as I looked around.

Something caught my eye which made my heart scatter into pieces.

I saw two siblings playing with each other with big smiles on their faces.

I sighed as I could feel that tears were starting to form on my eyes.

I covered my face as tears started to fall.

I looked up in the sky and saw that the sun was ready to set any moment now.

I sighed as I felt a presence beside me.

I looked at the person which made my eyes widen.

It was the girl who stared at me awhile ago.

"H-have I met you before?" I asked as she looked at me and nodded.

"Where?" I asked.

"You met me when I was born." She said as I could see pain and sadness in her eyes.

"A-are you. . . . Wu Ran?" I asked her which made her look at me.

She nodded her head.

"Are you Wu Kris?" She asked me.

My eyes widen as I hugged her tightly.

"Mei. . . its you." I sobbed on her shoulder.

"I miss you. . . .Why did you leave us?" I asked as I cried harder.

"I missed you like crazy. . . I kept blaming myself for your disappearance. . . I hated my-" I was cut off-ed when Mei mei hugged me back and said.

"Gege, I left because I got a message from Auntie about Nǎinai (Grandmother)."

I continued to sob as she caressed my back with her fragile fingers.

I broke the hug and looked at her in the eyes.

"Mei, you really have grown. You look really beautiful." I said while smiling at her.

She chuckled while hitting me on the arm.

"Gege, I'm still the young Ran you know." She said.

"I think we should go home already. Mama and Papa have been waiting for you to comeback you know." I said as I stood up.

"Zhēn de ma? (Really?)" She asked as I gave her a nod.

"Let's go." I said as I started walking which made her run after me.

Mei mei and I arrived infront of the mansion.

I rang the doorbell and the door was opened by our butler.

"Good evening young master and young. . m-miss?" Butler Han stuttered as he saw Mei mei.

"Good Evening to you too Han." Mei mei greeted as she gave him a smile.

We both went in and was greeted by the voice of Mama and Papa in the living room.

"We're home." I announced which made them look at me and Mei mei.

"Yu Fan, you- Wu Ran?! Is that you?" Mama exclaimed as her eyes started to water.

She ran towards us and hugged Mei mei while Papa followed.

"We missed you honey. Where have you been?" Papa asked.

"I was at Nǎinai's house, Papa." She said while hugging them.

"What we're you doing there?" Mama asked as she broke the hug.

"I was taking care of her." She said.

"Oh, well you better spend time with your Gege because he became really depressed when you left." Papa said while smiling at me.

"Okay Papa." Mei mei said while smiling at me.

The stars sparkled as I and Mei mei were sitting on the grass at our back yard.

"Gege, Have you found someone you love?" Mei mei asked me.

"Not yet, Mei." I answered.

"Ge, Look! A shooting star! Make a wish, palli!" She exclaimed as I closed my eyes and wished.

I wish that Mei mei and I won't be separated anymore and that I will find someone that will love me for who I am. I wished as I opened my eyes and saw Mei mei  smirking at me.

"Psh, Gege is so serious." She teased and that is when we started our tickling war.
