Synopsis

Caught in the middle…There wasn’t a more perfect line to describe what a topsy-turvy life the cold-hearted and too rational Kwon Aerin had turned out to be after meeting her mother’s ward and one of his friends, both of whom had feelings for her, yet had utterly different ways of showing it. Having to share a house and a room with one and having to see the other at school each and every day, Aerin falls into a deep confusion of whom to choose and ends up battling with emotions that just didn’t make sense…as they didn’t calculate.

Battling for one heart...

“Why do you love her?” he asked me.

I chuckled. “She makes me happy. What about you?”

“It’s probably the same reason why you do. I feel content when I’m with her,” he said. “It’s regardless of the situation.”

“I –” I was supposed to say something when Aerin sat up. She looked at the two of us, looking like she had just heard the most ridiculous thing in the world then laughed out loud. Out of the blue, she grabbed her pillow and bolted out of the room. It took me a moment to regain my composure after she slammed the door shut, making my ears ring.

My dongsaeng shook his head. “Sneaky brat!”

I chuckled. “But that’s why we love her…”

He smiled. “I couldn’t agree more.”

I really enjoyed this story. I have no idea why it's not featured. And something that kind of made this story unique was that you included a lot of characters' perspectives. I don't see that a lot so it was refreshing to see.
