-Aerin’s POV-   “I’m back!” I jumped in front of the other boys who were sitting at the turf. I didn’t tell them that I was coming back Monday the next week and they were definitely surprised to see me in my school uniform with the bandage on my head still on. The cut above my eyebrow was still quite fresh, but it wasn’t bothering me anymore. The bruise on my cheekbone was still visible, but not that much anymore. Sehun walked behind me, insisting to hold me school bag for me and I made him promise not to tell the boys, too.   They moved in front of me for a group hug. These guys are just too cool that I wasn’t expecting them to do that at all. Kai took both of my hands, jumping like a baby bunny. “Aerin~! I’m so glad to see you.”   I joined in, hopping in place. “Yeah, me, too. I missed the school, if you know what I mean.”   The boy winked at me. “It’s still better than the hospital, isn’t it?”   I giggled at that. Kai could really be cute when he wanted to be. He let go of my hand us D.O. plucked me away from him, wrapping his arms around my waist as he whirled me around. “I missed you, I missed you!” he said then set me down.    “Me, too,” I told him, unable to prevent myself from wincing. I almost forgot about the huge hematoma I had that stretched all the way from my lower rib down to my waist. Someone kicked me there. I breathed shallowly for a while, trying to straighten up. When I looked up, Kai, Baekhyun and Suho oppa were looking at me with worried expressions. D.O. was just plain apologetic while Sehun and Chan Yeol were glaring at him.   “Mianhe,” he said, but I waved him aside.   “I’m fine. You didn’t know about it so it’s not your fault.” Even as I said that, they were all staring at me like I was going to die anytime. “Guys! I’m fine.” I shifted my gaze to Sehun and Chan Yeol. “You two, stop throwing daggers at D.O.”   There was a moment of silence then Baekhyun broke it. “Aerin…can I ask you something?”   I slowly nodded. “What is it?”   “Will you go out with me?” he asked out of the blue and all the boys looked at him.    I laughed awkwardly. “Uh…sure?”   “Bworago?!” Sehun hissed at him while Chan Yeol just narrowed his eyes at the poor boy, getting ready to get up.   “Eh?” I took a step back from them, wondering what they were up to.   “You’re not mad are you?” Baekhyun asked Sehun who was getting pale and seething with anger. Apparently, Baekhyun didn’t value his life that much. I watched as Sehun’s eyes turned into slits as he stared at the older boy. He was about to grab Baekhyun, but I took his hand just as fast. He didn’t see it coming. Baekhyun was testing him.   “See that! I said it!” Baekhyun yelled in his pitchy voice getting hyper again. He danced around the other four. He looked ridiculous, chanting, “I knew it. I knew it.”   “WHAT?!” Sehun demanded, his tone at odds with his actions as he gently removed my hands from his arm. I shook my head at him and he nodded.   “You like Aerin. I knew it!” he told him and chortled like a deranged wino.    We all watched as Sehun turned beet-red, looking away as he sat back down. It was such a hilarious sight. Even Chan Yeol was gaping at him.    “It’s true then?” Suho oppa asked, looking clueless.   “Yes! His reaction was enough proof,” D.O. marveled. Kai was grinning cheekily at me, but I pretended not to notice. Chan Yeol didn’t look surprised in the least. We both knew I guess.   “Yah, Sehun! What can you say about it?” Suho oppa said to him, nudging him on the back with his knee. He then looked at me and I raised my shoulders.   “So what if I do, huh? What are you going to do about it?” he said to them smugly then glanced at me, throwing my bag to Chan Yeol’s lap quite harshly. “You don’t have to deny it,” he said to me then walked away, putting his hands inside his pocket.   D.O. made a face. “Ugh! You’re just so…I don’t know. If I like a girl, I’d proclaim it proudly. What’s with the attitude?”   I pulled Kai up, shaking my head. “He’s adjusting to it. Don’t worry. He’ll get by.” I then faced the puzzled Kai. “Let’s go to class together, ne?”   He nodded at me happily as I linked my arms with his. I then took my bag from Chan Yeol. “Thank you,” I said to him and he smiled at me.   “See you at lunch,” he said.   I nodded. “See you all.” I walked off with Kai into the building. Everyone was looking at me as I passed by the hallway.    Kai noticed my discomfiture and patted my hand. “Ignore them. I do.”   I chuckled. “Why am I suddenly the one their gawking at?”   “I don’t know,” he answered. “Maybe it had something to do with what happened to you. Everyone’s talking about it.”   Pft! What the hell? I got beaten up. So what? I shrugged my shoulders and pulled Kai hurriedly into our Bio class. I wasn’t about to be their subject under their gossip microscope. When I entered the room, everyone looked at me the same way. I tried to ignore them and sat down. Suddenly, two freshmen girls from the Special Program approached me.   “Unnie~!” one of them said.   I simply looked at them, managing a smile. “Annyeong…” I glanced at Kai, but he was looking at one of the girls who were both wearing an oversized, white-rimmed Ray Ban with clear lens. They were really cute. They could pass on one of those ulzzang sites. When he saw me looking, he looked away and pretended to concentrate on his book. Hmm. What’s this I smell?   “You’re Aerin unnie, right?” the other girl said to me and I nodded.   “Can I help you?” I asked.   “Oh you’ve helped us tremendously, already,” the one that Kai was looking at said to me. She seemed oblivious to his glances though. “I’m sorry, unnie. I’m being rude. I’m Hee Jin, Jo Hee Jin and this is Min Ji.”   “Uh-huh. Hello there, but what do you mean I’ve helped you. I’m sorry to be too frank, but I don’t believe we’ve met.   Hee Jin smiled ruefully at me. Gosh, she was adorable. No wonder Kai was eyeing her. “Well, you see, Bae Eunmi sunbae had been expelled along with her friends. They were bullies and we’re glad to be rid of them.”   Huh? I didn’t know that. I looked at Kai. “Is that true?”   “Didn’t your love nugget tell you?” he said.   Love nugget? I shook my head. “That’s good…I think.” Aish! Why were they expelled? I was still going to deal with them!   “It’s more than good. It’s great!” Min Ji said happily.   I tried to smile, but inside, I was furious. “Was she bullying you?”   “Sort of.” Hee Jin made a face. I liked her a lot.   “I see, but I didn’t do anything about the matter. You should definitely thank the headmistress.”   The two of them beamed at me then bobbed their heads. “Thank you, unnie. Feel free to come to us if you need help with anything. Anything at

I really enjoyed this story. I have no idea why it's not featured. And something that kind of made this story unique was that you included a lot of characters' perspectives. I don't see that a lot so it was refreshing to see.
