-Sehun’s POV-   Aerin sat on one of the lounge chairs, her outstretched legs resting on top of the table, looking like she was having the time of her life, her eyes were closed but she was speaking. I couldn’t really understand what she was saying, but Chan Yeol hyung kept having that uneasy look on his face which he would quickly conceal with an awkward smile. I guess Aerin was spurning him. I laughed inwardly at the thought. Even I know that she’s the first girl in our school to ever reject Chan Yeol hyung. He just didn’t know what disappointment felt like.   I stood up and quietly listened to their conversation. He was actually bargaining with her to date him. He sounded awfully ridiculous.   “Alright. Go on a date with me. Just once and I won’t ask again,” he offered after Aerin rejected all his propositions.   “How can I be sure you won’t bug me afterwards?”   “I promise~!”    I’ve only been hearing of her bad habit towards boys who try to be more than friends with her and I can confidently say that she loves toying with them. I even heard Mrs. Kwon warning her about breaking people’s wrists during her first day in Reishin. It’s really funny.   Her eyes flew open then she smirked. “I’ll have to break every single bone in your body before I agree. What about that?” she said.   Ha! I’d like to see her skills on that, too.    Chan Yeol hyung rolled his eyes. “Are you a sadist or something?”   “Do you have a problem with that?” Aerin asked cautiously. “You shouldn’t be asking me out if you can’t deal with my personality to begin with.”   “It’s not that. Don’t you have any option that excludes bodily harm and disabling me?”   “No, I don’t.”   “Oh come on!”   Aerin stood up in front of him, too close for comfort. It made me cringe, but I wouldn’t miss what she has to say about that for the world. I had the feeling it would cause Chan Yeol hyung to more or less take a double-take. That would be fun to watch, but it turned out to be the complete opposite when Aerin reached to touch hyung’s face, tracing the outline of his jaw. The surprise on his face was very evident.   “Chan Yeol-ssi,” she began. “Don’t get me wrong, alright. You’re really good-looking and all that.” She grinned up at him and he smiled back at her which fell immediately when she said her next words. “But you’re not my type at all.”   Whoa! What a tease!   “Did you just say that?” he asked, all the blood in his head drained down as he paled. He was neither angry nor sad, just shocked. He stared at her with wide eyes while she just looked at him blankly. She really was a cold-blooded heartbreaker. Poor Chan Yeol hyung was slowly accepting the feeling of rejection in his system. I could only imagine how it was hurting him.   Just then, she lifted his face with her index finger, smiling at him. “Don’t give me that look will you? I don’t feel guilty at all. I don’t lack vitamin B-twelve.”   Chan Yeol hyung frowned. “You just said I’m not your type. How am I supposed to react?”   Tch. Talk about sappy!   Aerin chuckled. “It’s not the end of the world, okay? I’m one girl. You’ve got legions of them chasing after you. How’s that so bad?”   “It’s bad, alright,” he muttered.   She just stared at the dejected person in front of her, looking torn between hugging him and punching him. After a full minute had passed, she sighed. “Fine. I’m considering being friends. What do you say?” Aish! Trust Aerin to ruin everything just when it was getting good! To everyone’s surprise, including mine, D.O. hyung and Baekhyun hyung burst out laughing. Chan Yeol hyung and Aerin looked at the two people who were sitting by the threshold of the sliding doors, chortling like damned fools.   “Friends, she says!” D.O. hyung jeered.    “I’m sorry to break it to you, Aerin-ah, but that word isn’t in Chan Yeol’s vocabulary when it comes to girls,” Baekhyun said matter-of-factly.   D.O. hyung jibed in again. “What about adding the phrase ‘with benefits’ after the word ‘friend’?” he said then began giggling with Baekhyun hyung.   “Yah!” I snarled at them, cutting their laughter. Those two were quite scared of me though I was younger. I was more irritated with their laughter than their words although they were really shocking. Those two can really rip off my nerves once they were together. I threatened to hit them and that got them to stop. Stupid brats!   Just then, Chan Yeol hyung laughed. “Alright, Aerin. Let’s be friends, but not for long. I promise you that.”   Gaah! The nerve of this guy was really starting to amaze me. It was crazy how fast he recovered. I guess he just really wanted to be friends.   Aerin just laughed derisively and marched into the house, glaring at me. “You owe me!” she hissed before disappearing into the kitchen.     -Aerin’s POV-   “Did you really mean that?” Sehun asked me in a low tone the moment we were alone. We both stood by the doorstep, watching as the guys boarded Chan Yeol’s car and disappeared into the distance. Poor Kai was limping towards it the whole time because he felt too dizzy. They really got him this time.   “Meant what?” I asked back.   Instead of answering that, he fired another question at me. “And what do you mean I owe you?”   I glanced up at him and it turned into a stare. He looked irritated. What was with this person anyway? Tsk. I walked into the house, leaving him behind then climbed the stairs. “Clean up!” I yelled at him before reaching the landing.   I then went to the bedroom and started my usual habits before sleeping – bathroom stuff, a change of clothes then off to my book shelf to choose a good book to read. I sat on the rocking chair by my window and began reading, but I couldn’t concentrate. I can hear all the clattering Sehun was making downstairs. What was he doing anyway, wrecking the living room? I threw my book on the floor and decided to go downstairs
