-Aerin’s POV-   I came home later that night after going out with some of my friends from my former school. I sure missed them, so when I received a call that they were hanging out at the mall, I immediately left the school and boarded the first bus that stopped in front of me. I was still shaking when I sat down at the farthest seat inside the vehicle. I didn’t know how, but I managed to evade that erted boy. I ran just like hell to wherever I thought would put more distance between us. The guy was definitely not someone I’d like to cross paths with again. I can’t believe he’s worse than what people say about him. He didn’t even know whom his date was, in turn, mistaking me as one of the crazy girls who was after him. The odd thing about it was that I felt pity for him. I felt my world getting smaller, proving how I was starting to hate the place more and more with every second that I stayed within its premises.   What was with this school anyway? Everyone thinks that the whole world revolved around them. I chose to attend here because I thought I’d blend right in with everybody after getting into the program they had, but it turned out to be the complete opposite. It was like watching everything turn against me. I wondered if it was what I got for being such an impudent student to that blasted Ms. Choi.   I shrugged the thought off and busied myself with taking the key to the door from inside my bag. I didn’t want to knock since no one would probably hear me and if someone did, that would surely be Sehun that blasted brat. The last thing I wanted was to deal with him. He’ll probably ask me about school again and gloat. I entered the house, disappointed when I found my mother sitting at the sofa in the living room with his ever loyal ward. Sehun smirked when he saw me enter, but I just ignored him. I walked straight to the stairs without glancing at them. Sehun should have been her son. She would have loved that to her bones.   “Aerin-ah!” my mother called when I was about to go up the stairs.   I slowly turned around to face her. “Ne?” I’m surprised. I really sounded tired although I didn’t feel it.   She stood up from her seat, staring at me. She looked disappointed. Aside from that, I noticed that she was exceptionally dressed again. I guess she’s going out. “What happened in school?”   I slumped myself down on the couch, glaring at Sehun. My mom wasn’t the type to be asking what happened in school. I’d bet that stupid boy told her something. “It’s not interesting. Trust me. You don’t want to hear it.”   “Yes, of course, except that you fought with your teacher today,” she retorted.    I rolled my eyes, lazily toying with the tips of my hair. “It’s not my fault. Don’t worry. It’s not going to happen again. I changed my schedule.” I didn’t really want to go through the details.   She nodded. I guess she understood me. I wasn’t really the type to go looking for trouble. “Make sure, Aerin. Anyway, dinner’s in the kitchen. I’m going now or I’ll be late.”   I was wrong. She didn’t get it one bit. She was just late for her appointment so she’s letting me off the hook easily. Well, I’d rather have that than a real scolding. I jumped up from the couch and gave her a brief hug. “Are you coming home later?” I asked.   “Probably,” she said noncommittally. She was always like that. I was used to it. There’s no sense arguing with her about her partying habits. Oh well, she lets me be and she knows I drink around the house when she’s away and she doesn’t mind. I guess it was how she gets over the loss of my father. “I’ll see you around.”   “Ne,” she said then looked at Sehun. “You kids behave yourselves.
