-Aerin’s POV- “What movie shall we watch?” Sehun said the moment we got to the make-shift counter the students in charge of the mini theatre made. Chan Yeol was standing close behind me, scanning the list by the door. “Have you chosen yet?” Sehun asked again as he walked towards Chan Yeol. “I’ve seen everything, but I think this one is nice,” Chan Yeol answered, pointing at the list. “‘The Grudge’?” I said, linking my arm with Sehun. I saw him staring at our arms before nodding. Gosh, this guy really has the ability to make feel guilty. I pulled him beside me and linked my other arm with his. He smiled at that. “Let’s watch it then,” Sehun said, handing the tickets to the acting doorman. “Would you like some snacks, sir?” the student said and I smiled as he brought out a box of candies and some bits to nibble on. Before Sehun could say no, I took one Hershey bar. “You’re paying for that.” He ruffled my hair then nodded. “Go ahead,” he said and I took Chan Yeol inside the dark room. There weren’t any people inside. “I guess we’re the first customers.” Chan Yeol shrugged. “I think we’ll be the only customers. Not many want reruns.” “I know,” I answered then I went to choose seats. He sat on my left side while we waited for Sehun to come in. Soon, he was handing more candy to Chan Yeol. “That’s a lot,” I commented as he sat by my right side. He stared at the screen. “That’s your stock. I don’t think I’ll be able to handle you once your sugar level plummets.” I punched him on the arm, laughing slightly as he rubbed the part with an annoyed look on his face. “Thanks, Hunnie.” “Why does it sound weird when you’re the one saying it?” he asked all of a sudden. I opened the candy bar I took, shaking my head. “How the hell should I know?” He just shrugged and we waited for the movie to start. I wasn’t really going to watch it. I’ve seen it a hundred times with my friends and it doesn’t fail to bore me every time. I just went with it since it was what Chan Yeol wanted and it’s the least I could do for making him feel left out since Sehun joined us at our table earlier. I stared at the screen blankly, nibbling on my chocolate. Honestly, I wanted a place to think and I thought the theatre was the best one after Sehun suggested we go watch. Other than that, I hated crowds. It was already too much trying to pass the hallways every day with students bustling about and the Special Program building doesn’t even have that much people in it. I couldn’t think straight with the heat of the sun over me and too much noise. The part where the main character gets haunted by that half-cat, half-child ghost came. Elevator scenes always make me feel claustrophobic so I leaned my head back and closed my eyes. I tried to shun the sounds around me, drifting off until I lost track of how long I had been liked that. I brought myself back to downtown Madrid two years ago, trying to remember how my father looked like. He was wearing that suit and a coat over it. Even without telling me, I knew he was doing work even while he was there on a vacation with me and umma. It all came back to me, the smile he wore on his face as he coaxed me to go out with him when suddenly, I saw Chan Yeol and Sehun watching us from what seemed to be a glass box. They were waving at me. That was weird. Even until we got to the car, I could see them. I tried my best to ignore them, but I couldn’t. Instead, I was having a hard time listening to what appa was saying to me. I forgot what we were talking about. I guess he was explaining some business matters with me. Oh well, I wasn’t interested so I tuned him out. I was surprised that I could still nod and shake my head at the right places when suddenly, I blurted somet
