Aerin’s POV- I was sulking the whole way to the headmistress’s office. I thought at least one of my worries would be gone after I transfer classes, but it turned out to be the entire opposite. It was true that I got rid of Ms. Choi, but now, I was classmates with that erted person from the special room at the top floor. I was hoping I wouldn’t bump into him after that morning. What’s worse was that I was sitting across the aisle from him and he had that friend, too. It was a good thing he wasn’t as annoying as the other one was. He really had a way to get to my nerves. It was also good that my seatmate wasn’t present for if that student turned out to be the annoying, nosy type, my whole afternoon would have been a disaster. Finally, I was in front of the office. I was glad to get there as I was getting glances from other kids, mostly girls. I haven’t even made any kind of contact with that boy and I was suffering already. I went in without further ado, escaping their scrutiny. “Good afternoon, ma’am,” I said curtly, bowing. The friendly headmistress smiled at me. “How did you find your new class, Miss Kwon?” she asked me. I smiled back at her, making it seem convincing. I wanted to tell her it wasn’t half as bad as the class I had with Ms. Choi, but nuisance people were everywhere. If only I could. Instead, I said, “It was better, Headmistress. Thank you for allowing me to change subjects.” She waved me aside. “It’s alright. I understand.” I handed her my slip. “I already had it signed.” “That’s good,” she said. “Would that be all or is there anything else?” I shook my head. “That’s all, ma’am. Thank you.” “You may go then.” I bowed and went out of her office, going straight to the school gate. I really wanted to get home and sleep everything off before that Sehun calls his friends at the house. I rode the bus and walked the remaining street to my neighborhood. The moment I got to my house, I went straight to my room, imagining the bag I wanted at the mall. It’s so annoying! I fell asleep. I don’t know how long I’ve been lying sprawled on my bed, but it was already dark when I glanced at the window. I felt someone tapping me on the shoulder, calling my name. “Aerin-ah! Wake up.” That voice belonged to my annoying roommate. “What?!” I groaned, rolling on my back. He chuckled. “You look ridiculous. Get up now and join us downstairs. We’re having drinks. You game?” I forced myself to get up. Since I was stuck with them anyway, I guess there’s no choice but to join them. I nodded. “I’ll be down in a minute.” Even after I said I’ll join them, he still stood there in front of me. He looked deep in thought as he stared at me. I was suddenly reminded of the previous night and what happened in the kitchen. Before he could make a move, I stood up and took out a hooded body hugger and a pair of knickers. “I’m changing. Get out,” I snapped at him, but he didn’t move. I rolled my eyes at him. “Fine! I’m going to change at umma’s room.” I started walking away, but he stopped me. I was bracing myself for whatever he was thinking of doing, but it didn’t come. He just grinned at me then went out of the room. After changing, I went down to the living room and saw him and his friends sitting everywhere – the window sill, the floor and the center table. What the hell? There’s a couch, people. I cleared my throat to get Sehun’s attention. Six pairs of eyes looked at me and I recognized the person sitting by the window sill immediately – ert boy! His seatmate at eighth period was also there, saluting at me and so was that smart kid Kai. What the hell were they doing in my house? The person by the window gaped when he realized who I was, but I ignored him and stalked to the kitchen, gesturing for Sehun to come to the kitchen with my finger. “What?” he asked me when we got there. I sighed. “Just tell me what you guys want. Surely you’d want dinner.” He shook his head slowly. “No. I just want you to join us. Beer?” He took a can out of his jeans pocket, waving it in front of my face. I snatched it away from his hand, craning my neck above his shoulder. “I didn’t know you’re friends with that guy by the window. I wouldn’t mind if Kai and the others would hang around, but he’s just…” He grinned. “His name is Park Chan Yeol. I’m guessing that you’ve met.” So that’s his name? My expressions tightened as I grimaced. “You could say that.” He patted my head. “Relax, will you? I’ll tell him not to come near you if you want.” I saw an unpleasant glint in his eye
