Seoul Academy; a place for the rich and talented. You can get in with either loads of money bags or a whole load of pure talent. It’s the most sought out school within Korea, millions of applications every year. EXO-K runs the school, known as the group of flower boys. Yet one has the most power above them all; Kai, the school’s kingka. He has money, fame, and fortune. Everything anyone dreams about having.

“That’s him! That’s the school’s famous flower boy kingka; Kai!~” The girls from neighboring school stood by the academy’s entrance, all taking pictures of me from their cell phones.

Se Hun nudged my shoulder and pointed to a group of girls coming our way.

I gave them my usual wink and smile as some of them looked away in embarrassment, some running away. I smirked at their reactions.

I’m Seoul Academy’s flower boy kingka for a reason.

Then there are the lower class; scholars. The ones who actually had to strive to get into the school. Eunjae was at the top of her class in her previous school and is holding onto that title; acing each and every single test thrown at her. How is this possible? She’s a pure genius, literally! But the biggest thing is her photographic memory. What’s been seen can’t be undone through her eyes.

“Don’t worry you guys, the four-eyed genius will do our homework. Won’t you, you freak?” She cackled as her head swung back obnoxiously. My fingers shook as they lifted my framed glasses up to the bridge of my nose. Fear overtaking me as I could only nod, not wanting to oppose the academy’s queenka.

You would see her reading a book every time and if she wasn’t; she was with her best friend Tao. A mysterious boy that nobody has ever gotten close enough to even be in spitting distance. He’s very self-conserved and isn’t outgoing. The only time they hear him speak is when he’s with Eunjae.

“Who’s that guy in the back?” I heard their whispers and murmurs spreading through the class like a disease. I didn’t bother looking up, knowing they’d flinch at my eye contact.

“That’s Tao. You don’t wanna mess with him. I heard he beat up an entire gang from N.Korea. He rarely shows up to class and he still gets some of the top grades. Some people say he has an entire field of adults working for him to do his school work.” I don’t even know how such an absurd rumor could’ve started. Then again, the majority of the school is filed with idiots who’s heads are only filled with cash.

The girl who asked had the usual reaction everyone has; open in an O shape as her eyes were widened in horror.

“Shame, he’s actually pretty hot.”

Yet what happens when Eunjae lands her eyes on the talked about kingka Kai? She has the personality of a child; imagining that one day she’ll find her prince charming she’s only read about in fairy tales. And when their paths cross, Eunjae thinks its love at first sight. Go figure, every girl at Seoul Academy thinks that.

Tao is always there for Eunjae. Their fate is practically gorilla glued together seeing as they’re both orphans in the same orphanage. From the minute they stepped foot on that exact same day, it was as if they knew they would be friends with the other. Yet … what if Tao slowly realizes that he sees her as more than a friend?

But what happens when Kai comes across her rare gift and talent? This is the perfect solution for him as his grades are slowly dropping dangerously low. Even with his parent’s money, he doesn’t wanna go around being known as the dunce of his class. A devious plot unravels in his mind and he knows just who he needs; a certain little girl who’s at the top of the school who just so happens to have an innocent crush on him.

Will a love triangle form? Whose heart will be broken? And what happens when one of them is on the verge of being kicked out of Seoul Academy? Let’s keep reading to find out ;]

Park Eunjae (You (you), 16)

Meet Park Eunjae. The wallflower and our main female character in this fic o’ mine. The only time you’d see someone talking to her is when a test was coming up or they needed to copy off of someone’s homework. Judging by that, you can clearly read that she’s a nerd. She has little to no friends and is always found reading a book, soaking up all of the knowledge it has to offer. Not only is she considered a genius (yes she is legally a genius based on her IQ), she has what every genius wishes for; a photographic memory. Ever heard that quote, “What is seen can never be undone?” That’s her life’s motto. Every little thing she’s seen is automatically tattooed into her memory; whether it is the number of tiles the classroom has or what the school lunch was on the very first day of school. But this talent of hers could either be her stairway to happiness, or a heavy burden that will bring her down.

She’s had a tragic past but has managed to rise from the abyss with her brother Tao. Ok so they aren’t blood related but they share the same fate the minute they both stepped foot into the same orphanage. Tao is Eunjae’s (you) one and only best friend. Eunjae is a scholarship student at Seoul Academy along with Tao and EXO-M.

Huang Tao (19)

                  

Huang Tao, the one you would never find in class on the rare chance he shows up. You’d have a better chance of finding a four-leaf clover than befriending him. He’s viewed as the black sheep among the herd of white ones. Not much is known about him since he has always kept to himself, emanating the aura of a stray black cat. Even though he is a cold person that likes to be by himself, the girls can’t help but fan girl over his “bad- façade.”

He’s in the same boat as Eunjae, them being the only few of the scholarship students in the prestigious Seoul Academy; where money is everything. But even though they are both dirt-poor, they are rich in knowledge. He may not have a photographic memory, but he is intelligent on his own.

Nobody dares pick a fight with him. He’s well skilled in martial arts and demonstrates this strong ability when he defends his “little sister” Eunjae. They are best friends and crossed paths since they met at the orphanage. Their fates will intertwine even more as the story progresses.

Kim Kai (19)

                        

Kim Jong In. Otherwise known as Kai; the flower boy and kingka of Seoul Academy. He’s someone that the girls swoon over every time he walks past them. His killer smile and wink melts the heart of any girl that encounters it; as it did to Eunjae. He has the perfect life you would expect from a student from Seoul Academy. He has rich parents that can bring him the latest technology and newest clothes that just got off of the runway. Every guy kills to be in his inner circle of friends, the girls pray that he’d say a simple hello to them every day, he’s handsome, and he’s the kingka. What more could you ask for?

The only thing he lacks is intelligence. He may not be book smart but he has the mind of a clever fox. Like mentioned before, Seoul Academy offers its program to the rich or talented. Kai has made it into Seoul Academy with his parent’s wealth. However, even without the money, he could get in with his power dancing skills.

But don’t judge a book by its cover. Believe it or not, this “perfect” prince is two faced.

Minor Characters:

EXO-K | is the flower boy group made up of 6 handsome students of Seoul Academy. Each one of them has their own fan club. The members are Kai, Se Hun, D.O, Baekhyun, Suho, and Chanyeol. All of them are filthy rich; none of them can even imagine what poverty is like.

EXO-M | is not like the “perfect” flower boy group like EXO-K. Each one of them is as handsome as EXO-K, yet they aren’t as prestigious as them. They are all scholarship students. The members are Tao, Lu Han, Chen Lay, Xiu Min, and Kris. All of them aren’t the best of friends but they trust one another through some bond.
