Eunjae’s POV~

Our lips broke apart and the cool air hit against my lips, already searching for his warmth yet again. I was pretty sure my cheeks were a scarlet color and I found no ways to express the emotions running through me.

My fingertips brushed against my lips, the feeling seeming so … natural. I didn’t feel uncomfortable, or doubtful. In fact, I was immensely content after realizing what just happened. It felt so pleasant and sweet, in an innocent sort of way.

My heart was leaping for joy, doing crazy somersaults inside my chest like a professional cheerleader.

How could I have been so stupid as to not realize this sooner?

All of my memories came tumbling in. The times Tao was always there for me, his loyalty never unwavering, and his undivided affection. He gave me such clear and evident signs of his love yet I was so dense to realize and see any of them.

I couldn’t help but smile and think,

July 17, the day I realize he’s been my prince all along.

I looked up at him and he had the most adorable expression on his face.

Tao’s POV~

I pulled back and I realized what I’ve just done. My cheeks were on fire and I was sure I was fashioning a bright red color on my face.

“S-sorry Eunjae I just-” I began, trying to think up of some excuse but what was I going to say in a situation like this? She smiled and shook her head. I had a spark of hope in me and it was confirmed when she wrapped her arms around my neck and finally spoke to me the words I was so desperately waiting for;

“Ani, saranghae Tao.” And she gently placed her lips onto my own, both of ours fitting the others like a perfect puzzle piece. We broke apart and my eyes were the size of bowling balls, clearly surprised at how things turned out. She covered with her right hand and giggled into it, her eye smile shining through.

My smile didn’t bother to hide itself and I gently kissed her forehead, nose, and lips. Our foreheads gently rested against one another and as I looked at her through my crossed eyes, she giggled at how I must’ve looked like a one-eyed troll. Her laughter is something I still have yet to grow tired of.

I shut my eyes for a brief second and replied to her,

“내마음은당신을위해숨을쉰다(My heart breathes for you).”

When Tao said “내마음은당신을위해숨을쉰다(My heart breathes for you).” this, in Korean, is a really sincere way of saying I Love You to someone who has a really strong connection with you >///<
