Tao’s POV~

Eunjae was pulling my hand towards the bus stop as I looked behind us at the school. I hesitated for a second, still quite shocked at how Eunjae’s willing to actually skip school all on her own.

“Eunjae are you sure you wanna actually skip school?” Don’t get me wrong, I’ve done such a thing more than once. But seeing Eunjae even attempting such a thing is like seeing cats and dogs falling out of the sky; completely out of the ordinary.

“It’s not like we can go back inside. The student handbook specifically said that once the gates are closed there is no way for any student to get in or out of the school grounds.” I really looked into her eyes but I knew that once she had her mind set on something, there was no way of trying to talk her out of it.

Where are we even going?

I doubt she was planning on going back home knowing Miss Kwon would lecture us as to why we weren’t at school. But instead of crossing the street to take the bus we usually take, we stopped at a different bus stop I had never really taken.

“Eunjae what are you planning?” I asked, cocking an eye brow at her. She feigned innocence as she placed a finger towards her chin, pretending to not know what I was talking about.

“I have no idea what you mean Tao; I just figured we’d take a detour.” Yet I knew that little glint in her eye that meant she was up to something. After all, Eunjae makes a terrible liar. I thought about interrogating her, wondering if I could squeeze some info or clue as to where she planned on taking us, but I chose not to. Why not let her have her fun in this?

I stared her down a few more seconds before I gave up. We waited for a few minutes before the bus stopped in front of us and we got on it. It was pretty empty seeing as most of the students should already be at their schools and adults were already at work.

We found two seats in the back and I saw Eunjae stare out the window. Her eyes focused on the streets and stops we passed by, almost as if looking for something.

“What’re you trying to find?” I asked, peering over her shoulder as the bus passed an elementary school.

“Just want to make sure we don’t miss our stop.” She replied nonchalantly. I shrugged off and leaned back against the seat, yawning as I remembered my lack of sleep from last night.

Eunjae’s POV~

We had a long way to go but I still wanted to do some sightseeing as the bus passed by a good amount of Seoul. I couldn’t help but be in awe at all the shops, stores, and buildings. It was really amazing seeing it in the morning and only imagining how beautiful it would be at night when all the lights turn on.

I felt a large lump hit my back and when I turned around to see what it was, I saw Tao’s head leaning against my back.

I couldn’t help but smile at the sight, how his face was almost completely relaxed and he looked nearly … innocent. I gently picked his head up and placed it on my lap, careful as to not wake him up.

I couldn’t help but stare in awe at Tao wondering how quickly the years have gone by for the both of us. Within seconds, the memory of our first meet engulfed me whole.

The shiny black car pulled up to the unfamiliar house, all of this completely foreign to me. I swung my feet back and forth against the car seat, trying to contemplate what my next move would be. It’d be considered pathetic to run away, knowing how many movies I’ve already seen and each runaway attempt failing as the bigger group of people managed to capture them.

The car door opened and a stranger’s hand reached out to help me down. I took it without consideration and jumped from the seat, landing on the uneven soil.

The stranger and I walked hand in hand up to the house that had a western feel to it as there were several vines already growing on its wall’s sides. I couldn’t help but stare in awe at the place, completely fazed thinking that this was some sort of foreign castle.

“Welcome home Eunjae.” A lady in her early thirties greeted me. I was about to tell her that this isn’t my home when the painful memory stung me.

This is in fact my new “home.”

The stranger let go of my hand and walked away without a word, not even looking back a second time before the car drove off. My only escape left me here to rot and I had no way out, positive that my little legs couldn’t possibly carry me for more than a few miles.

The lady who introduced herself as Miss Kwon led me throughout the house and I made sure to stay by her side, not wanting any of the kids to come near me. You can clearly tell I wasn’t one to make friends. It’s not that I didn’t want any; I just wasn’t that great with words.

Dinner came in a few minutes but I wasn’t hungry, even though all the other kids in the house ran for the overly crowded kitchen. I decided to explore the house myself and I managed to come across what I thought to be empty room. Yet it was actually occupied by one other person.

He had soulless black eyes that stared out the window. He almost seemed to blend in with the room, looking like a lost toy or inanimate doll. But something about him drew me in…a certain aura he gave off. He looked so lonely that I somehow managed to make the first move and approach him as I asked,

“What’s your name?”

The bus came to a stop and I snapped out of my memory, realizing that this was our stop. I gently shook Tao awake and took him by his hand, maneuvering through the crowd and hopping off the bus before the doors shut.

Tao looked around at the unfamiliar neighborhood and we walked a few blocks before we stopped at yet another bus stop. Hey, beggars can’t be choosers and public transportation was the only option. Tao gave me a baffled expression as he came to realize that we were in one of the worst neighborhood and he stood closer to me, almost in a protective way.

I couldn’t help but smile at him and told him,

“Don’t worry, the bus should come in five or so minutes.”

Now where was I again?

I plopped down next to him and he didn’t give me a reply. He looked at me for a brief second before he turned back to stare out the window. I tried to see where his eyes followed; wondering what could be just so interesting. It was actually quite an ordinary scene. There was an empty field outside in the backyard that was surrounded by multiple trees that almost acted like a fence to keep everyone in.

Miss Kwon must’ve sensed that two of her kids weren’t at dinner and found us sitting by ourselves. She gave us a small smile and asked if we were hungry. Tao nodded, continuing his silent treatment and I stood up to walk towards the woman.

I tugged at the hem of her shirt and she bent down to be eye level with me.

“Who’s he?” I asked, pointing to the boy behind me. She gave me a motherly smile and said,

“His name’s Tao. He came here today just like you.”

The bus came and Tao nearly pushed me onto it first, not wanting me to stand outside in that neighborhood for more than another second. We found some seats in the back, grateful that this bus was nearly empty and seemed to be making a few number of stops.

Tao nudged my side and asked,

“Still not gonna tell me where we plan on going?” I made a zip and lock motion across my lips and he chuckled at my actions. I doubt he knows where we’re going, after all he’s only been there once. I wonder if he remembers the time…

Exactly a year later, Miss Kwon taught me how to bake. I already did tons of research about baking, frosting, and layering a cake online and was positive I could make a simple vanilla cake. What was the occasion?

It’s a secret.

After two days of baking, cooling, and icing the cake; it was done. I was so proud of my work that I didn’t even know what to do with it. Should I take a picture of it? Should I eat it?

But for some odd reason, the first thing I wanted to do was go and show Tao.

I made sure to keep the cake hidden from all the other kids, knowing they’d steal a piece or swipe at the frosting, and quickly ran up the stairs after inserting a few colorful candles.

As usual I found Tao sitting beside the window I found him on the very first day; alone and lost. I walked in and began singing,

“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you~” Tao instantly turned to see me and that was the first time I ever saw him show an expression or emotion; surprise.

“Happy birthday dear Tao~

Happy birthday to you…” I was right in front of him and he stared at me, his eyes wide as ever. Even though we’ve been living in the same house for exactly a year, he has yet to say a single word to me…until that day.

“Today’s not my birthday.” He spoke four words, the first three words I’ve ever heard him say to me nonetheless. I could only smile as I sat down beside him and spoke,

“So what? I don’t know when my birthday is, do you?” He shook his head slowly, probably confused as to why I know such a thing. That’s quite simple; Miss Kwon made a small birthday celebration to every kid in the house except Tao and me. Why is that?

I put two and two together and came to realize there were no records of our birth dates.

“Well then let’s make today our birthday, since it’s our one year anniversary for being here. Why not turn something sad into something happy, ne?“ I offered, giving him a small smile.

He blushed and it was as if that day was truly magical as I managed to get out more than a few more words out of him.

“Th-then, you should sing the birthday song for yourself too then!” He announced, almost commanded. He looked older and judging by his physical appearance, he was older. I couldn’t help but compare Tao to ice cream. How could such a boy be so cold and self-reserved at first, but end up being as sweet and soft as vanilla. I couldn’t help but chuckle before I said,

“Alright, but you have to sing it with me. Let’s sing each other’s names, arasso?” He was completely embarrassed by the thought and simply shook his head.

“I-I can’t sing.” He muttered in shame, not looking my way.

How adorable~

I giggled and said,

“It’s ok, I can’t either. But nonetheless, I’d just look silly if I sang my own name, don’t you think so?” Today was just pushing boundaries as Tao even gave me a small smile. His facial expression wouldn’t have looked any different to anybody else, but after closely watching him you could see it. How his eyes bags slightly moved upwards and the corners of his mouth gently tugged upwards. It was a small sign but it was more than enough to make me smile back.

Ever since that day we’ve been the closest of friends. We’ve done nearly everything together and we always managed to celebrate each other’s birthdays together on that same exact day. Sooner or later Miss Kwon caught up on our little fiasco and decided to make it official by throwing us our own birthday parties in the house.

I still wondered what Tao kept staring at outside the window and on my tenth birthday, he finally showed me. He saw beyond the simple clearing and trees and managed to spot the lake with the clear opening. The air around it was simply clean and pure, unlike one you would find in a city and it was a perfect getaway spot.

We would always go there whenever we just needed to get away from the world and whenever one of us wasn’t at the house; we knew they were at the lake if anything.

I looked outside and when I saw the colorful sign, I knew we arrived. I quickly took Tao’s hand and nearly jumped out of the bus if it wasn’t for the huge number of people trying to shove past us.

I hopped out and dragged Tao to the main entrance. The minute he noticed where we were, I spun around and spread my arms above my head as I announced,

“Welcome to Everland Resort!~

Tao’s POV~

Of all the places, I would’ve never guessed she’d take me here. You’d think that Eunjae would’ve just taken some crazy twisted ride back to our house and make a secret surprise party, but she never ceases to amaze me.

“Come on let’s go!” She announced, taking my arm and running towards the ticket line. I was thankful that it was a school day that made the lines to all the rides shorter than usual.

We bought our tickets and walked inside, my eyes lighting up at the kid fantasy around me.

 dsc_1304wtmk.jpg

Eunjae giggled beside me and I couldn’t help but blush.

“Yah what’s so funny!” I began teasing her as I stretched her soft cheeks. She looked quite comical if I do say so myself and when I released her cheeks. She shut her eyes in pain and rubbed at the sore pink skin.

“That hurt.” After she stuck her tongue out at me she titled her head and smiled when saying,

“I knew you’d enjoy it here, but not this much.” I couldn’t help but admire this kid. I picked up a nearby map and opened it up, looking at the many zones Everland Resort is made up of from Global Fair, Zoo-Topia, European Adventure, Magic Land and American Adventure.

“Where should we go first-yah!” I began before Eunjae snatched the map out of my hand. She neatly folded it back to its original state and placed it back into the bin we found it in.

She wagged a finger at me when saying “Nope, we’re going to go explore at random.”

I raised an eyebrow at her and poked at her forehead,

“Knowing you, you probably already have the entire map memorized the last time we were here. Am I right?” She blushed, knowing that I figured her out already. She quickly took my hand and dragged me along shouting behind,

“I wanna go to Zoo-Topia first!”

Eunjae’s POV~

I led us to the entrance to Zoo-Topia and ran inside, already excited to see the animals. Sure most people don’t even bother going to this part of the park thinking that staring at a bunch of animals isn’t fascinating, but I actually find it to be quite the opposite.

Tao walked behind me, staring at the animals every now and then as he followed me on my wild adventure. Even as a little kid I was always in awe at the animals – how they lived, how they moved, what they ate, etc.

I looked behind at Tao and even though he seemed content on the inside, I knew he wasn’t having that much fun. I prodded through my mind trying to come up with some idea as to how this would be more appealing to him.

I couldn’t help but imagine a light bulb lighting up above me as we came towards it – my idea.

I tugged at Tao’s shirt and pointed towards the empty line,

“Let’s get on that.”

    everland_resort6.jpg

What it was was a cart that rode above the entire Zoo-Topia, a quick and relaxing way to see all the exhibits without walking. We quickly boarded the next cart and sat side by side, my arms already tightly holding onto the cool metal bars.

So I’ll admit that I’m not the biggest fan when it comes to heights but I can fairly manage. I looked below us and saw our feet dangling in midair above the animals.

I swayed my feet back and forth, wondering if my sudden movement would attract the monkey’s attention. But they must’ve already gotten used to the fact that people just magically rode above them.

Tao chuckled and said,

“Yah if you wanna grab their attention, you gotta act like a girl monkey.” He pulled on his ears and blew up his cheeks as his eye crossed, making me laugh at the uncanny resemblance. I added to the act by making bizarre monkey sounds, not caring about the strange looks we’re getting from the people below us.

Sure enough, one of the real apes below us looked up and shouted before returning to a nearby tree.

“See? What’d I tell ya.” Tao teased and leaned back against the seat, enjoying the rest of the ride peacefully. It wasn’t much but I at least got him to joke around. I always did admire his sense of humor only I knew of.

Tao’s POV~

The cart wasn’t one that would stop; it was the type that continued to move regardless of the passengers so when it came close to the landing you were to step off as soon as possible.

Eunjae always had a problem with these sorts of contraptions. I don’t know if it was the movement or just the timing but she was never able to get it right.

When we were nearing the landing post I was already preparing myself. I looked towards Eunjae and she had a concentrated look on her face, as if this was a final exam.

I counted in my head and when it was time, I caught Eunjae off guard and grabbed her waist. I managed to gently place her on the ground and hopped off the cart right before it was about to leave the landing spot.

I turned back and saw Eunjae blushing as she mumbled a thank you. I ruffled her head and replied,

“Anytime.” It’s fun teasing her because she has the same reaction a child would, if not cuter. I looked around as to where we were, not even sure myself since the last time I’ve been here was … oh that’s right: never. I only remember reading about this place when I was a child and wanting to go here for quite some time now.

I cupped my hand above my eyes, trying to block out the sun’s bright rays when I spotted it. It was sticking out like a sore thumb and I remember how excited I was when I first found out about the ride.

“So where do you want to go next?” Eunjae asked brushing off some dust from her skirt.

I quickly grabbed her by the arm and ran towards the ride, careful as to make sure Eunjae could keep up just fast enough as to not trip over herself.

“Yah, where are we going?!” She yelled behind me as we dodged in between the crowd. I looked back and replied,

“You’ll see.”

Eunjae’s POV~

My heart nearly stopped beating when I saw the ride O_O;

t_express.jpg

My knees were slightly shaking and I was pretty sure all the color drained from my face. I gulped down any fear (or at least some of it) down and looked at Tao. He had such a gleam in his eye and I knew he was er for these types of thrill rides. Who am I to stand in the way of this knowing it’s his birthday.

I looked up at the never ending height of this wooden roller coaster that will be the death of me and breathed. I want to face my fears eventually.

Tao’s POV~

I looked at Eunjae and saw her head cocked all the way back, starring up at the T Express. My hands itched to find a seat, hopefully at the very front, of the ride and I just couldn’t hold in my anticipation.

The line was moving slowly, but it was moving nonetheless and that’s all that mattered. Judging by the number of people, we were going to be next.

Maybe it was just me but put yourself in my shoes as I was boarding Korea’s fastest, highest, longest, and steepest wooden roller coaster. Wouldn’t you be jumping in your seat right about now?! (A/N: No Tao it’s just you, I’d be scared less ;_; unless, you know, you were there with me ;] JKJK xD)

We were up next and I seated Eunjae beside me. After a few basic instructions and warnings we were all ready to go and I held onto the bar, happy that I got to sit in the front like I wanted to.

I looked over at Eunjae and she was gripping the metal bar in front of us so tightly that her knuckles were a snow white. I gently placed my hand over hers, realizing as soon as I touched it that she was shaking as well.

This really got me concerned and I felt like the biggest when I remembered: Eunjae’s afraid of heights.

“Eunjae, are you ok?” I asked, knowing that it was a pathetic question to ask seeing as she clearly wasn’t. But nonetheless the gave me a brave smile and nodded telling me,

“Gotta face my fears sooner or later. Can you promise me something though?” I nodded, not even caring what it would be.

“Promise me you won’t kill me if I crush you when I hold onto you for dear life during the ride.” I couldn’t help but chuckle and just as I was about to pat the top of her head, the ride gave a sudden jerk and we were off. The cart began to ascend upwards and my back was practically glued to the back of my seat seeing as gravity was pushing me down the higher we went.

You know how usually when you’re at the top of a ride it pauses a few seconds, kind of like a warning, before it goes full speed down? Well this wasn’t one of those rides. There wasn’t even a second for me to catch my breath before the ride shot downwards and I threw my hands above my head, screaming in utter joy and adrenaline.

At that same moment Eunjae’s hands wrapped tightly around my waist as her head was buried deep into my chest.

I looked down and smiled for a brief second before we hit a sharp turn and I was back into the ride, enjoying every second.

When the ride was over and it came to a stop, I was about to get up when I was brought back down by Eunjae’s weight. She was still holding onto me and I didn’t even notice. The blood slowly crept to my face when I realized how close we were and that the staff members were giving us the couple look.

“Eunjae the ride’s over, let’s go.” I gently said taking her hands into my own. She lifted her head and noticed the next group of people waiting to board the cart and she clumsily stumbled out of her seat.

We made our way to a nearby crowd of people huddled at a booth, all eagerly pushing past one another to get closer.

After some time the crowd dispersed and we were able to come in closer to see what the big fuss was about. There were several monitors hanging from the walls that each showed a freeze frame. Some places during the ride there must’ve been hidden cameras that took snap shots of us. There were three pictures I found of Eunjae and me.

The first one has Eunjae’s face completely buried into my chest as I have my hands held high above my head, the wind contorting my face into this bizarre expression. Either way; no good. The second picture has everyone on the ride with us in the front since we were in the first cart, Eunjae is nervously smiling at the camera without even realizing it and I continue to have my stoic expression. This must’ve been taken before we even got on the ride. The last picture was only up for a brief second and I’m guessing Eunjae wasn’t quick enough to see it … but I did.

Right on cue EUnjae’s phone rang and she looked down at the screen and said,

“Sorry I’ll be a few seconds, a minute tops.” And walked off. Perfect timing as I leaned over the counter and asked the worker for picture number 3. He searched through his computer and after a few seconds asked me what package I wanted.

“Just a wallet picture’s fine.” I replied and he handed me a small picture. I couldn’t help but smile at it, remembering the event that only happened a few minutes ago.

This picture was taken as we were coming down from that steep hill. Eunjae’s arms were wrapped around me but you could still make out her face. Her eyes were tightly shut and her hair was blowing behind her. I had my arms slightly raised and I was looking down at her with the faintest hint of a smile.

I quickly put the picture into my wallet and walked up to Eunjae.

“So where to next-” I began but was cut off short when a dying walrus sound was heard. Eunjae looked down and covered her tummy in embarrassment. I could only chuckle and I ruffled her hair before saying,

“Alright then, Global Fair it is.” I took her arm and led her to a nearby directory that told us the way to the restaurant filled zone.

Eunjae’s POV~

After a few walking around we managed to safely find Global Fair.

1143592376_49f3573731.jpg

As soon as you come into the area you can already smell the delicious aromas wafting in through the buildings. My eyes closed for a brief second as I took in the different smells coming in through the doors opening and closing as people entered and left the multiple restaurants.

The delicious scents were practically a tease for my appetite as my stomach growled again, hungrier than ever.

“Shall we?” Tao said, leading me inside as he held the door open for me like a true gentleman. I bowed curtly like a lady would and decided to play along.

As soon as we entered the building, the smells became ten folds stronger and I felt my stomach tugging at me, threatening to jump out and find food for itself. There were several families seated and others trying to seat their energetic kids.

“Two.” Tao said holding up two fingers when the waitress came by. She led us to a wooden table with a white table cloth in the back and asked if we’d like anything to drink.

After ordering our drinks we were given the menus and I peered over the pages, my mouth already threatening to spill drool over the silky table cloth.

The names of the appetizing food were dancing across the page, each one wanting me to pick them, causing me to contemplate on my decision a little longer than usual. Some of the dishes I’ve only read about in articles, let alone thought about trying at Everland Resort.

When our drinks came Tao and I both ordered the same dish and I gulped down the cool drink whose outer glass had some perspiration from the already melting ice cubes.

Tao’s POV~

I leaned against the back of my chair, satisfied with my protruding stomach. I glanced across the table and saw Eunjae wiping with the napkin, missing just the edge of her lips.

“Eunjae…” I said, pointing to the corner of my lips to show her where to wipe. She dabbed at the edges of , only smudging the small stain and I couldn’t help but smirk.

“Come here.” I said and leaned forward, gently wiping away the residue. As the napkin slid across her lips, I couldn’t help but stare for a second too long. Her plump pink lips were slightly parted and they looked so soft. Her bottom lip was slightly fuller than the top one, only adding a feminine beauty to her.

I quickly looked away and mumbled a quick,

“Just double checking.” Before the waitress came and handed me the bill, saving me from an awkward moment.

Eunjae’s POV~

Tao and I put in the money after we argued for the bill, Tao refusing to let me pay saying that this will be part of his gift for me.

“Yah remember that this is your birthday too, pabo!”

I giggled at his rare outburst and agreed to pay for at only half of it. We stepped outside and saw a large number of people beginning to enter Everland Resort, mainly teen females dragging along one another.

“Can you believe it?!”

“Kya I hope I get to see them!”

All of them ran inside and squealed in utter delight. Tao and I both exchanged looks and knew that curiosity already got to us. We followed the sea of fan girls and were led to American Adventure.

A bunch of girls were screaming and yelling all in a confusing chorus, the name of the band being completely out of rhythm where you couldn’t tell who they were cheering for. Some of them held up signs near the front but they were waving them around so frantically you couldn’t even make it out.

Tao and I exchanged looks and he merely shrugged his shoulders, being as clueless and confused as I was. There were stage crew members setting up in the front, placing lighting here and there and adjusting any little details on the set. After seeing the multiple speakers surrounding the area I realized this is probably going to be a live concert.

There was a big LCD screen in the front and as soon as it , all the girls gave an ear piercing scream and I covered my ears. I looked up at the screen and as soon as I saw what it was playing, I soon joined in with the crowd.

Wanna know who’s gonna be the special guests today?

20120313_shinee_tonytesta.jpg

Tao’s POV~

I shuddered and cringed as the screams grew louder and more frantic, the crowd was beginning to shove and push past me but I managed to stand my ground. I looked to my right and didn’t see Eunjae, panic already setting in. I searched the sea of strangers till I found the top of her head somewhere in the middle of the crowd, squealing in delight with the rest of the audience.

I wasn’t that much into kpop but I knew well enough of it to realize that the group about to come out was no one other than SHINee with their latest hit Sherlock.

The 5 famous boys from SM Entertainment appeared on stage, giving a brief bow and greeting to their fans. I made sure to keep a close look on Eunjae but was amazed at how easily she was sliding in through the crowd to a point where she was nearly towards the front. Guess that’s one advantage to being small.

The 5 members got into position and after a few seconds the song started and the audience grew, if that was possible, even louder.

They performed a few of their songs and finished with their song Stranger, one of my favorite songs from their newest album.

They all bowed and the leader, I assume, said a final good bye by mentioning a respectful thank you to the fans for supporting them since their debut 4 years ago.

I still had my eyes on Eunjae and saw her flushed face smiling from the thrill of the free concert. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment, knowing this was simply the icing on top of the cake for her. I wanted to call her over but saw several girls huddling around her and one of them knocking her to the ground. Yet my attention was quickly taken away when several nearby girls began whispering and giggling around one another, staring back at me with several glances.

I tried to look back into the crowd but lost sight of Eunjae.

Crap. Not good.

With this much people I really doubt she’ll hear her phone and I don’t think she’ll be able to find me so easily.

I frantically began pushing through the people, trying to remember her exact location when a strong grip grabbed me by the arm.

“Hey cutie what’s your name?” A girl who’s skirt seemed too short and shirt seemed a tad bit too tight wrapped both of her arms around my own. Her body confidently pressed itself against mine as I felt her chest pressed against my elbow.

This was in no way attractive to me and I felt quite disgusted by her lack of respect and dignity.

I gently pulled my hand away from her menacing grip and began to walk away, not wanting to cause a scene.

“Yah it’s rude to just leave a pretty girl hanging!” She yelled, clearly wanting favoritism from the audience we were beginning to attract.

Several people began to mutter how rude of a jerk I was and I really don’t want people to misunderstand.

“Tao?” I turned around at the sound of her innocent voice, never forgetting it and was caught off guard.

Eunjae wasn’t wearing her glasses and even though her hair looked like a disheveled mess, it gave her a certain elegance in a bizarre way.

“Oh he has a girlfriend…”

“Tch. She’s cute.”

People began to mutter and the crowd soon left us in peace. I couldn’t help but stare at her in awe as the gentle wind picked up, blowing away most of the stray hairs covering her flawless face. I never understood why Eunjae continued to be dense about her appearance, completely unaware of her natural beauty.

She blew a raspberry and looked at her wrists, disappointed that she didn’t have any elastics with her like she usually does.

“Here.” I said coming up behind her tying her hair with a bobby pin she had to pin up her bangs. I’ve seen Miss Kwon doing this several times to the younger kids and I managed it pretty well, wrapping a piece of hair around the rest of her hair to use it as a band as I secured it with a bobby pin.

“Thanks.” She said and looked behind me to where she came from.

“Those were my favorite pair of glasses.” She muttered, puffing out her bottom lip in disappointment. I offered to go look for them with her but she shook her head no, telling me that someone already stepped on them so she threw them out.

Eunjae’s POV~

“It’s not like your vision was that bad to begin with. You’re eye sight went down right after you found that asianfanfic site and you’ve been staying up all night to read every SHINee fic you’ve found!” He scolded me just like Miss Kwon would have. I stuck out my tongue and defended myself,

“I don’t read fanfics all night!...I watch dramas and variety shows pabo. Don’t try and lie to me by saying you don’t stay up all night to watch Hyuna and So Nyuh Shi Dae’s live performances!” He blushed and looked down at his watch.

“It’s getting pretty late, we should head back already.” I did a mini checklist through my head and shook my head no.

“There’s one more thing we should go on before we leave.”

 Tao’s POV~

69677f4e10be11e19896123138142014_6.jpg

We were waiting in the short line and within a few minutes, we were already in a cart as the door shut behind us. The cart was slightly shaking at first by the howling wind, refusing to go easy on us on this afternoon. The sun was already setting and I was wondering if we’d make it back in time for dinner before Miss Kwon would yell at us.

But I knew better than that to know Miss Kwon wouldn’t raise her voice at us today, probably saving it for tomorrow.

“Look look look!” Eunjae announced, leaning towards the window as her palms were pressed flat against the cool glass. I followed her gaze and looked down at the view of the amusement park;

72444751_7d0118056d_z.jpg?zz=1

I looked at every single ride, already trying to safely bundle the memories of today somewhere deep inside where I won’t be able to forget it. Not even a seconds worth of today shall be forgotten.

“Don’t you wish every day could be like this?” Eunjae whispered, her breath steaming up the cold glass window in front of her. She still had her eyes glued to the view below us, completely fazed by the attractions.

You have no idea.

I won’t be able to update for a few weeks or so b/c of finals (I swear they’ll be the death of me -_-) so I hope this long update of 6,407 words can satisfy you guys until then >_<

P.S. I only did some research on Everland Resort so some of the things mentioned in this chapter may or may not be true about the place >_< Forgive me for any inaccurate info C:

(Kinda late but) Happy 4th Anniversary to SHINee<3

Has not been edited (due to the author’s laziness ah hem :3) so please excuse any grammar or spelling errors :{D

Chapter 52: I finished reading this really quick. I knew Eunjae and Tao would end up together. But I felt like the part with Kai seems left out, his father wanting him to be better. Kai is a jerk but you almost make him seem redeemable with the way he always have to be the perfect guy with good grades.
Also I don't know why I'm thinking that even if Eunjae is younger, it would have been a funny twist if Kai's sister who ran away was her.
