Chapter 28: We’ll be together even in the difficult moments.

Youngmin POV:

“Yeah, in your dreams ” I looked at Hyuna and smirked.

“What did you just say?” she said dumbfounded.

“What you heard. And like you said, feelings are feelings and we can’t change them. So, I don’t care if she chooses Chunji or me, that’s not going to change what I feel for her”

She didn’t answer to me. She was speechless. My blood was boiling. She was getting me out of my nerves. Why does she want to ruin Gaein’s life?

“I thought you just were selfish and childish, but now that I see it, you are really an evil person. First you took Chunji away from Gaein and now you want to take me away from her. What did she do to you? Why do you want to ruin her life so badly?”

She glared at me crossing her arms. She wasn’t pleased by my answer.

“Anyway, I won’t let you hurt her again. I’ll make sure that she’ll be happy no matter what” I said and turned my back to her walking away.

“Listen to me Youngmin! No one rejects me! NO ONE! If you’re not going to be mine, then no one is gonna be yours!” she yelled mad at me.

“Too late for saying that, I’m Gaein’s now, only hers” I replied.

“You don’t know what I’m able to do to get what I want so be careful Youngmin…”

Ok, that was scary at all, but I don’t think is time to be scared by Hyuna’s words. Of course, she’s very confident that Gaein and Chunji are going to be together again, so I don’t think she’ll do something to her right now.

Honestly, I’m not very confident that Gaein will stay by my side. My heart is restless and worried. I don’t know where Gaein's heart is right now, or where it will be. It makes me feel heartache.

Your POV:

“So… if we’re already in 2013, that means that my movie already came out! How was it? Did I look handsome on it? Did it have a good rating? How was it? Tell me Gaein! Did I win more fans?” Chunji said curious.

“You’ll know it when you remember” I smiled lightly.

“But, how can I remember if you don’t help me?” he frowned and pouted.

“Well, about your movie… yes, it had a lot of rating. I can’t tell you if you looked handsome on it because I never watched it and yes, of course you won a lot of fans. That’s all I can say”

He tilted his head confused nibbling his low lip.

“Why didn’t you watch it?” he asked.

I decided not to lie to him, but not to be too sincere with him either, so I said the truth in a nice way.

“Because I didn’t want to see you and Hyuna together”

“Why? Were you jealous of her? C’mon Gaein! Why would you be jealous of Hyuna? You’re My Princess, remember?”

My heart stopped when I heard those words. Those words were the ones I wanted to hear the day everything between us ended. I just wanted him to tell me that everything was a lie, that I didn’t need to be jealous of her because he loved me, because I was his princess… it was hard for me now, to hear those words he never said, till now…

“Mmm… Oppa, I think I need to go now. It’s very late and Bora Unnie is going to get worried about me”

“Yes, I don’t want your unnie to be worried”

“Then, see you later Oppa, good night” I waved my hands.

“Good bye my princess, I love you”

I closed the door and stood there for a moment. I closed my eyes trying to forget what Chunji said… everything about him, it was the Chunji I fell in love with.

My heart was so confused. I only wanted to see Youngmin, to see his smile, to look into his eyes, to lose in his lips, to make my heart beat so fast and make me feel sure I was in love with him, only with him…

“So… what did he tell you?” I heard someone said.

I opened my eyes and saw Changjo, L. Joe, Ricky, Niel and C.A.P. staring at me.

“Well, obviously he still thinks I’m his girlfriend” I sighed.

“Did you tell him the truth?” little Ricky asked worried.

“Mmm… yes, but not the bad part of it. I mean, I answered all his questions but didn’t tell him that we’re not together anymore”

“So, what are you going to do?”

“I don’t know. I guess I’ll come here every day until he recovers his memory” I shrugged.

“Thank you Gaein, for staying with Chunji in the difficult moments” C.A.P. said.

“No problem”

 I turned to Youngmin who was looking at the floor with his hands in his pockets. He looked worried…

“Let’s go Youngmin” I told him and pulled his arm to get his hand out of his pocket so I could hold his hand.

“Uh? Yeah…” he said still lost in his thoughts.

“See you tomorrow guys” I waved my hands to them.

“It’s very late now. Do you want me to take you home?” Hyuna asked.

“No thanks. We’ll take a taxi” Youngmin said coldly.

We walked out of the hospital and took a taxi. Youngmin sat far from me at the back seat. He was crossing his arms and looking out the window, lost in his thoughts.

“Youngmin, are you alright?” I asked him.

“I’m alright. It’s just that I can’t understand how you can accept so easily to pretend to be his girlfriend” he said still looking out the window.

“I never told him I was still his girlfriend Youngmin”

“But you didn’t deny it either” he said with bitterness in his voice.

“Youngmin, I know this is difficult for you and I’m sorry for getting you in this position but I didn’t have another option. Please, believe me. I just don’t want him to kill himself. I know it’s hard, but please trust me, I won’t leave you. We’ll be together, forever, even in the difficult moments. That’s what we promised each other” I said with teary eyes.

“I don’t know… I’m scared that the things between us change…” he muttered.

We arrived to my apartment. We kept in silence on the elevator. We walked to my apartment’s door and then I realized that I hadn’t taken my keys with me.

I dialed unnie’s number but she didn’t answer, maybe she was already sleeping.

“Unnie doesn’t answer!” I said freaking out.

“Calm down. You can sleep at our apartment, it’s near from here. We can go there by walking” Youngmin said, still in a cold manner.

“But, you know how unnie is… ” I nibbled my lip.

“Why? You lived in our dorm for one month and you’ll sleep in your bedroom”

“Okay” I sighed defeated.

We walked in silence to Boyfriend’s dorm. The silence was killing me, I didn’t want to be on this way with Youngmin, I didn’t want to hurt him like that, why doesn’t he believe in my words? It makes me feel even more confused…

We walked in the apartment trying not to make noise. Youngmin went to his bedroom without even saying a word.

I sighed and also went to my bedroom. I changed into my pajamas and laid on my bed. I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

 “I don’t understand you! I don’t want to be with you anymore!” Youngmin yelled at me.

“But Oppa…”

“Oppa? Since when you call me Oppa? See? You are crazy for that stupid of Chunji. You only think about him, why don’t you run away with him? Don’t worry about me, I’ll be happy with someone else” he said coldly.

Suddenly Hyuna appeared next to him, she linked arms with him. Youngmin smiled at her.

My heart broke. I fell on my knees trying to understand what was going on. My eyes were teary but I didn’t cry. I tried to scream, to tell him to stay by my side, but no sound came out of my mouth.

Hyuna smirked and laughed at me, her face was very creepy. She dug her nails in his hands. I tried to stop her from hurting Youngmin but I couldn’t stand up. Youngmin on the other way, he smiled and then he slowly approached to her lips. He kissed her passionately not even caring about his bleeding hands.

“No!” I screamed.

I gasped and looked around, my body was sweating. I was in my bedroom. It was all a dream.

I went downstairs to the kitchen for a glass of water. For my surprise Youngmin also was there.

Youngmin POV:

I turned my head and saw Gaein standing there. She was so beautiful. The moonlight reflected her fair skin and her beautiful long hair falling perfectly on her shoulders. Her sparkling brown eyes looking at me surprised.

I sighed, no matter what I did, I couldn’t be mad at her. I mean, I know she didn’t do anything wrong, it’s just that I’m so afraid of losing her…

“You can’t sleep either, right?” I asked her.

She walked to me and hugged me tightly.  I was surprised by the sudden hug, but I hugged her back. I heard her sobbing and my shirt wet with her tears. I her hair trying to comfort her.

Why is she crying now? Is it because of me? Arghh… I feel so bad with myself now! I’m supposed to support her no matter what not to make her feel worse.

“What’s wrong baby?” I asked. She looked up at me as I wiped her tears with my thumb.

“I had a nightmare. You… and Hyuna were together and… ” she said between sobs

“Shh…Calm down, it was just a dream. I’m here for you” I said.

She buried her head in my chest breathing deeply.

“Look, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have gotten mad at you. I should have supported you. I know this is difficult for you… I’m very sorry…”

“You don’t need to be sorry. I’m the one who needs to apologize with you for not understanding your feelings”

This girl seriously, I’m the one that should be apologizing not you! You’re so cute Gaein, that’s why I’m crazy for you…

“Now let’s get some sleep” I said and carried her bridal style.

She stared at me with her cute brown eyes. I looked down to her cherry lips and my heart beat faster. I smiled avoiding myself to blush and leaded her to her bedroom.

I laid her on her bed and covered her with the blankets. I leaned and pressed my lips softly on her forehead. She looked up at me and pouted.

“What’s wrong baby?” I asked her.

“Can you stay with me tonight?” she said leaving a free space for me on the bed covering her blushing face with the blanket cutely.

My heart fluttered when I heard her words. I nodded with a shy smile and tucked into bed.

She turned her back to me shyly. I put my arm around her waist and turned her body to me, so she could face me.

She looked into my eyes shyly. I hugged her tightly and then smelled her soft hair. It had a soft lavender scent that delighted my senses.

I smiled and kissed her forehead placing her hair on her ear so I could admire her pretty face.

I stared at her beautiful features. Her brown eyes, her tiny nose and her soft cherry lips that looked so… kissable.

My heart was pounding. I caressed her cold cheeks with my fingers, until they touched her lips. Why do they look so irresistible?

I leaned closer to her face, and she leaned closer too, but I stopped before our lips could touch.

“I love you” I whispered.

She didn’t hesitate and crashed her lips against mines putting her arms around my neck. I pulled her closer to me deepening the kiss, not letting her go. My hands went down from her head to her waist. My heart was beating too fast and my breath was shortening even more, but I didn’t care about it. I kissed her back passionately. Her lips were my drug, a sweet drug that I was becoming addicted to.

“I love you too” Gaein said between our kisses.

Her words made my heart beat even faster than before, if that was even possible. I held onto her tightly, kissing her again. I was asking for breath, and so was she, but we didn’t let go until we couldn’t continue anymore.

I gasped looking at her. She was blushing and looked down. She buried her head into my chest shyly, I hugged her.

“Aigoo! Why are you hiding your face?”

“Because I’m blushing” she said cutely.

“Really? Cutie, don’t blush.” I whispered in her ear with my ‘seducing’ voice but the truth was that I was just teasing her.

“You’re not helping!” she said again. I guessed she blushed even more.

I chuckled at her cuteness and then tightened my hug to her.

“I’m just teasing you babo! Now, let’s sleep. Do you want me to sing you a song?” I asked her.

She nodded her head still hiding in my chest.

“Okay, this song is from 4men. Do you know that group?”

She nodded again. I decided to sing 4men’s song “Say I love you” for her. I thought it was a song that could express my feelings perfectly. I wished she could listen to the lyrics carefully, but I knew she was going to fall asleep in some minutes. Even then, that was the reason I was singing to her, to make her fall into deep sleep.

She fell asleep in the middle of the song, but I still sang it all to her. I looked at my sleeping beauty. I wish we could be together forever. I love you Gaein, and don’t worry, I’ll support you no matter what.

I felt my eyelids were getting heavy and I closed my eyes falling asleep next to the person I loved the most in this world.
