It was the only formal for the students. Prom.

Long dresses only and boys asked girls. Ri Ah used her powers to get Naomi a dress, but the others were taken dress shopping by their boyfriends.

They got a ride in a limo to the hotel ballroom, not expecting to go home, since Kiseop and Hoon got two conjoined suites for all of them to spend the night, including Naomi and Jaebeom.

Even if that wasn't her plan.

They all walked in together and everyone's heads turned.

Naomi:

Aya Mei:

"Look at them, they even coordinated with each other, with their one-shoulder dresses."

"Isn't that all their favorite colors?"

"Who's that guy with Naomi?"

The whispers started but they ignored them and went to pick up some food.

"Hey Sungyeol oppa!" Asami called out to her tall friend. He was with another girl in a pink dress with long black hair.

"Hey Asami. This is Yoon Sora, my childhood best friend. That JUST came back." He looked pointedly at her and she giggled.

"Hi, Sora. I'm Asami, Sungyeol oppa is really kind." Asami greeted the other girl.

"I know. But sometimes, he overthinks things." Sora insulted mildly.

"Yah. No embarrassing stories from you. Or else, we will start something." Sungyeol scolded, pulling her away.

Kiseop squeezed Asami's hand gently, before they moved away to dance.

Aya Mei and Dongho went straight for the food and the sweets. Definitely sweets.

They each brought back two full plates, one of entrees and one of desserts. They moved together and took a seat at the table.

"You guys aren't dancing?" Jae Hwa came over and asked.

"Nope, but you know neither are you." Aya Mei said teasingly.

"True, true. See you later." Jae Hwa said, as she went outside with Hoon to look at the stars.

"Go dance with her then." Chaerin said angrily, sick of AJ always staring at Naomi.

AJ smiled and walked over.

"He's coming" Jaebeom whispered to Naomi.

"I know," She whispered back.

"You should dance with him. At least once, since we're leaving tonight." Jaebeom said softly before leaving Naomi.

AJ made it over to her, "Hi." 

"Hi." She replied.

"You look beautiful." He complimented.

"Thank you." She said curtly.

"Would you like to dance?" AJ asked her.

"Why not?" Naomi took his hand and stood up.

A slow song was playing and they swayed slowly to the music.

"AJ." She said.

"Yes?" He looked down at her seriously.

"I am happy for you." Naomi said in a strangled tone.

"You know that I love you." AJ replied.

"Then, why won't you do anything about it?" She accused, making AJ freeze. "Ahhh.. Never mind. This is supposed to be happy." She said dismissively.

One final sway and the song ended.

Naomi bowed her head, "Thank you for this." And she went to go find Jay to get out of there.
