"Hey, can I take you somewhere after school?" Hoon asked Jae Hwa.

"Sure, where are we going?" Jae Hwa asked, putting her stuff away in her locker.

"Jiyeon's wedding." Hoon said softly.

"Oh." was Jae Hwa's only response.

"I want to go with you, because I don't want her to feel bad because I don't want to leave my friendship with her estranged. And I want to take you, to show you off." Hoon grinned proudly.

"Really, now? Am I a prize or something?" Jae Hwa taunted, challenging him for the right answer.

"Not as an object, but as a wonderful person that is a treasure and very smart and beautiful." Hoon answered cheekily, leaning down to peck her lips.

"Nice answer. But I don't have a dress." Jae Hwa argued, "I borrowed from Ri Ah unni last night for AJ's party."

Hoon gave her a look, "You really didn't think I would ask you without help." Hoon said, pointing someone out over his shoulder.

A smiling Ri Ah held out a dress for Jae Hwa. "It's a different dress from last night, better than my own in my opinion. But definitely not enough to upstage the bride." She said, handing over the garment bag before leaving with a hug.

Hoon helped Jae Hwa out of the car, and they walked inside the church together.

"Hoon, I don't know any of these people." Jae Hwa whispered as people stared.

"Don't worry. I'm here, plus you don't need to know their names, just smile their way and they leave you alone." Hoon whispered back. Jae Hwa listened to Hoon's advice and smiled every which way to satisfy the eyes of the rich people.

"Hoon! You made it!" Jae Hwa heard a female call out to them, and Hoon's grip on her hand tightened. Without even looking, she knew it was Jiyeon.

Finally, turning to face her, Jae Hwa saw the face of Hoon's first love. At first, a little inkling of insecurity crept up but she knew that they were just different. That's all.

"Who is this?" Jiyeon asked pointedly at Jae Hwa.

"This, is Jae Hwa, she's my girlfriend." Hoon introduced, his eyes lighting up and smiling wide.

"Nice to meet you." Jiyeon said, "Hoon is very lucky." She said before walking away.

The both of them let out a breath of relief. "That wasn't so bad." Jae Hwa said, "I thought she wouldn't like me."

"I thought she would be mad as well." Hoon said, "But come on, I see someone you know." He led her away towards the commotion caused by none other than the Kims.

"Hello, Kiseop. Having fun with Tiffany over here?" Ri Ah mocked.

"Oh, Kim Ri Ah.. Hi.." Kiseop said sheepishly.

"There's no need to pick on him." Tiffany said angrily.

"I do what I like." Ri Ah said firmly, Myungsoo squeezed her hand softly, to keep the anger down to a simmer.

"Ri Ah unni!!" Jae Hwa hugged the older girl.

"Jae Hwa, love, you're here! The dress looks amazing on you, by the way." Ri Ah complimented.

"Thanks, unni." Jae Hwa smiled and turned to Hoon who was looking at Kiseop.

"I know right." Ri Ah said without saying anything else. "Gosh, Kiseop, I wonder if I should tell Sungyeol to keep her to himself." Ri Ah taunted and led JaeHoon away right after.

"Come on, Kiseop. Let's go talk to the Lees." Tiffany said, pulling on his arm.
