"You want to do this song?" Jae Hwa asked Hoon again.

"Yes, I do. It'll help us win. Which is what we need." Hoon said firmly.

"Okay, well let's practice." Jae Hwa said, sitting next to Hoon on the piano bench and following along to the music.

They practiced together for days, much to the anger of Yuri. But the girl couldn't stop anything. Jae Hwa and Hoon always managed to get inside the music room, locking the door before she could ever do anything to tamper with it.

Days later, it was the day of the competition.

Jae Hwa changed into her purple dress, picked out by Ri Ah, and stood next to Hoon backstage. He had on a suit.

"You look beautiful as always." He gave her a peck before it was their turn to sing, Hoon was going to play the piano while Jae Hwa sat next to him and sang.

"Ready?" Hoon asked before the both of them took a deep breath and nodded.

Throughout the performance, JaeHoon met eyes with their one supportive couple, AyaHo, but there were a few surprises as well. Like Byunghun and his wife, Choi Eunji, Sungjong too.

After they finished, they bowed together and walked off the stage.

"Jagiya, you were amazing." Hoon complimented, kissing her deeply.

"Thanks, oppa, you were great too." Jae Hwa said, as Hoon broke out into a grin.

"Let's go wait for the results." They waited backstage for the judges to hurry up and make up their minds.

"Well, this is a bit obvious, isn't it? The MC said. "The winners of the duet competition are Park Jae Hwa and Yeo Hoonmin." He announced and everyone stood up to clap.

They took the trophy and Hoon walked straight to the mic, "Everyone meet my girlfriend, Park Jae Hwa. She can be officially called mine now, also thank you umma and appa." Hoon said proudly, knowing his mom and dad were watching.

After the cheers died down, they left the stage to call celebrate with the others.
