Howon noticed Aya was a bit absent-minded throughout the day.

Like she was busy thinking about something important.

Every time one of the girls talked to her she would have to snap out of her reverie and have them say it again.

Howon noticed her fiddling with something around her neck. When she did it once more, he held her hand back so he could see it clearly.

They were stars.

"When did you get that?" He asked in a neutral tone. He had an idea when but he wanted to hear it from her.

"Oh. That day. After dance practice. Dongho took me out and gave it to me, after we saw the stars together." Aya answered.

"I see. It's cute. You like it a lot huh?" Howon asked, sadness creeping into his voice.

"I like what it means and represents. I'm not too sure about him yet..." Aya answered.

Howon watched as Aya's gaze went over to the F4 table and straight to Dongho. At that time, he was looking at her too and they both looked away, blushing.

"Are you sure you don't know?" Howon mumbled to himself.

Aya Mei had already fallen for Dongho, she just didn't trust him enough to tell him.

He was an F4 player, that's why she was afraid.

But she had changed him then what was there to worry about? Surely, there wouldn't be anything else to stop them.

Not even Howon could stop Aya Mei's feelings despite his own.

But she trusted him fully and he would accept it.

He would live to be her best friend and rescue her when she needed it.

Being with an F4 player couldn't possibly be easy, right?

Howon would be there for Aya Mei at any time just to help her through it.

As her trusted oppa and as her friend, his love might not go away any time soon. But for her, he would keep it hidden.

Maybe for forever.

For now, if Dongho ever needed to be jealous, Howon would happily help, that's for sure.

"Why don't you just tell him?" Howon asked her.

"Hmm? What do you mean?" Aya asked back.

"If you're unsure about things, you should just say so. You should wonder or leave people wondering." Howon said firmly.

"That may be true. But when could I ever talk to him? We're always like this. I'm here, he's there." Aya Mei gestured at the distance.

"So you're going to let distance keep you from talking to him?" Howon asked in disbelief.

"No, I'm letting fear keep me from talking to him. Besides, for all I know, that could have been a one time thing. There's no need to get my hopes up for nothing." Aya told him.

"Your hopes are already up.." Howon muttered.

"Hmmm?" Aya said.

"Nothing, Aya. Finish your lunch. The bell will ring soon." Howon pointed at her half-empty plate to change the subject.
