Jae Hwa went to her locker to take out her music sheets for her practice after school. Once she opened the door, a rose fell out along with a note.

She looked at the rose and noticed that it was her favorite, a moonstone rose. But who would have given it to her. No one knew what her favorite flower was.

"Meet me in the music room. You know you want to ;)" was all the note had said.

Jae Hwa wasn't ready to be played, but she was so curious as to who the note would lead to, she had no choice but to follow the instructions.

Along the way, Jae Hwa noticed that the school was practically empty, which was a bit strange, since it wasn't that late after school.

But there was another rose resting on a window ledge with another note taped down.

"I don't want another pretty face..." It said.

Jae Hwa chased around to find the roses along the hallway and by the time she actually reached the music room, she had 11 roses in her hands.

"I don't want just anyone to hold

I don't want my love to go to waste

She could hear someone's voice floating out from the music room. It sounded familiar but the song was something new.

Jae Hwa walked inside and found Hoon at the end of the trail of roses. He was playing the piano and singing this song.

"Hoon?"

He just smiled and kept singing.

"You might need time to think it over

But I'm just fine moving forward

At least you're mine

If you give me the chance

I'll never make you cry, come on let's try"

He finished the song and held out the last rose. "I'm sorry for making you carry a drunk me back to my house. And having to take care of me. But will you at least give me the chance to be your friend first?" He asked her.

She took the rose carefully, completing her bouquet of 12. "Yes, I will give you the chance to be my friend. But I just need to know one thing." She said.

"Okay, ask away." Hoon said.

"Are you really a player? Or is it because your friends are and then everyone else said you were too?" She asked him.

"I was never a player, to be honest with you. All those things I did that made girls swoon, were normal things, it wasn't intentional for that to happen. I just went along with the others, because I was moping about Jiyeon all the time. But then when you came along I started smiling again, and you presented this challenge and that I wanted to know more about. So, I tried talking to you, but my reputation preceded me, but now, I have a chance." Hoon explained.

"That's all I needed to know. You have the chance to be my friend. If anything else happens from there, then let it. If not, being friends is enough." Jae Hwa said.

"How did you know these were my favorite?" She asked him.

"I didn't. They're my favorites." Hoon said, before taking her hand and leading her out so he could walk her home.
