Hanbyul faced her secretary and sighed.

“It was nice having you as our boss, ma’am.” The male smiled at her, Byul just leaned over to give him a quick hug.

“Thanks, for translating takeout menus for me.” She chuckled, the male grinned.

“I’ll come by and visit soon.” She stated as she turned to face the Cessna jet and climbed the steps.

Byul sat down and set her laptop on the desk before her. Saehee’s face came into view.

“How’s my nephew?” She grinned.

“We’re both happy to see your on a plane.” Saehee said, she chuckled.

“How’s my nephew doing?” Byul asked.

“He’s turning three weeks old tomorrow.”

Byul leaned back on her seat with a grin.

“On your way home now, Byul?” She asked again, Hanbyul nodded.

“Don’t worry, I didn’t tell anyone yet. But I’m glad to see you healthy again.”

She smiled.

“You have eleven months, unnie.” She stated playfully, Saehee chuckled.

“You said you’d come home when he turns one.” Byul mused before ending the Skype call and closing the laptop. The pilot announced that they were getting ready for takeoff; Byul strapped herself and faced the window. Her hand unconsciously went to her left ear. Her fingers circled around the Cartier diamond earring.

The private plane had come to a full stop, Kris was smiling as he leaned on his Land Rover, beside him Tao was smiling expectantly as the ground crew affixed the steel makeshift stairs to the plane’s side.

The door finally opened, revealing a fresh faced Byul clad in a pair of jeans and a shirt.

“Little Star!” Tao greeted her, he ran towards the end of the steps.

“Tao.” She grinned and hugged him back as soon as she reached the landing; Tao chuckled and twirled her around before Kris made him set her down.

“How have you been?” Kris took her hand in his.

“As you can see, I’m..okay.” She faced him with a small smile.

“When you called, Lay also~”

“Yes, Kris. I’m fine now, less jumpy than usual. It’s not totally gone, but,” She took Tao’s arm with a grin.

“I’ll live.”

Kris smiled in relief and hugged her.

“I’m happy for you, Hanbyul.”

“Happy? You should be, you can finally fly back home.” She chuckled as Kris pulled back.

“Have you contacted him?” Kris asked her, she paused.

“Not yet.”

Tao’s brows met, but Byul shrugged at the two.

“This calls for a celebration. Dinner’s on me, guys.” She nudged Kris before walking to the car.

Chanyeol stepped in through the front door, he heard Snow bark twice and started to dash towards him. He chuckled as the dog leapt at him. She had grown so big over the course of five months.

“Have you had dinner?” He asked him as she tailed him to the dining room, butler Kim was preparing the table.

“Snow has been fed, young master. Don’t be tricked.” He mused, Chanyeol nodded with a smile before walking to living room.

Chanyeol switched on the television as he plopped down. The news anchor was talking about Wu Industries’ recent move to buy out a huge pharmaceutical company in Thailand.

“Their new CEO, Miss Hwang Hanbyul has been making headlines for the progress~”

Chanyeol exhaled and looked away, he left the couch and trudged towards his study. Snow looked at her master, her eyes went back to screen.

“But she has recently resigned and is reported to be headed home to take on her responsibility over her family’s HwangSae Group.”
