“Hello, Shelby.” Byul whispered as she entered the pad, her dog followed her as she walked to the living room, then she paused as she heard something.

“Chanyeol?” She blinked, she walked towards the door hidden underneath the staircase, her lips quirked up as she pressed her ear against the door.

She slowly turned the knob and found him playing the piano, her eyes went to the drum set on her left and the two guitars hung on the wall.

She quietly walked towards him and slid down on the seat, Chanyeol stopped and looked at her.

“Continue.” She nudged him, he nodded and continued playing, his long slender fingers flying over the keys.

“How did you bump into her?” She asked carefully.

“We were at the same restaurant. I met up with Sae and Mark to discuss some things about KBS. Which is why you should have come.”

She grinned and leaned her head against his shoulder.

“Sorry, my phone ran out of power.”

“It’s fine.”

Chanyeol continued to play, then his eyes went to Byul. She was already sleeping.

“Byul?” He gently shifted so she wouldn’t hurt her back.

“I can’t exactly carry you or you might get freaked out again.” He mumbled, he bit on his lip and looked around.

“Hwang Byul?” He hummed softly. Byul stirred, she blinked and sat up.

“Go wash up get some sleep.” Chanyeol said as he stood up, then Byul climbed on the seat. Chanyeol blinked at her.

“Ya, now is not the time.” His eyes narrowed as she started to smile.

Chanyeol sighed and turned his back to her. Byul jumped on his back, he sighed and walked out of the room with his friend on his back.

“I was wondering how it felt to be up here.” She mused as she leaned her chin on his shoulder.

“Very funny, Byul.” He rolled his eyes, but he was smiling.

“Director Kim and his department will be joining you at the meeting later, chairman.”

Byul nodded at her secretary.

“Director Kim? I don’t think I have met him.” She looked up from her laptop.

“Yes, he had a previous appointment last time. But, he will be there later. His department is the one handling the program.”

“Good, I have an hour, right?”

“Yes, chairman.” The lady left the room, Byul stood up and grabbed her phone.

“I know, I know, I’m sorry, but I was too tired to call you back and I just fell asleep.” She said as soon as Kris answered the call.

“I had a feeling about that. How are you?” There was something in his tone that made her blink.

“I’m fine, you? You’ve been laying low.” She chuckled as she walked to the windows, Kris snorted.

“I’m in Macau for a short business trip. Do you want something?”

“Egg pies.” She said before saying goodbye and putting her phone down.

“Did president Park call?” Byul asked as she stepped out of her office.

“Yes, he might be a little late, the president’s attending a meeting.” Her secretary replied, she nodded, her brows met briefly as they reached the doors. The lady smiled and opened the double doors for her boss to walk in.

Her eyes went to the three people in the room, she glanced at her secretary.

“They are from the department handling this account with BH Group, this is director Kim.”

She faced the male, and blinked.

“Yangpa(onion) agasshi.” The director smiled at her, Byul’s secretary paused. Hanbyul smiled and offered her hand.

“It’s actually Hwang Hanbyul, but nice to meet you, director~”

“Kim Seokjin.” He shook her hand, his familiar smile appeared.

“I met director Kim last night at the cafeteria.” Byul explained and faced the other employees.

“Since you’re here, shall we have a quick run-through on the presentation and contract?” Jin faced her as he pulled one of the chairs for her.

“Sure.” Byul nodded, Jin gestured for her to sit down.

Byul glanced at her phone, Chanyeol had yet to arrive and they were expecting BH Group’s side to appear at any moment.

“Why isn’t he calling?” She mumbled, she looked up as a cup of coffee appeared before her. She was standing outside the conference room, waiting for Chanyeol.

“You seem a little tensed.” Seokjin smiled.

“And yet you’re offering me coffee.” She mused as she took the cup from him.

“I can’t have the CEO asleep for the contract signing.” He leaned against the wall across her.

“Point well made.” She nodded as she took a small sip.

“Are you waiting for the president?”

“I am, Chanyeol said he’d pass by, I mean, president Park said~”

“It’s fine, I know Chanyeol back from college~” Jin suddenly stood straight and faced another direction.

“Director Bang!” Jin moved forward. Byul bit her lip, BH Group’s side had arrived, but Chanyeol was still MIA. She put down her coffee and looked at Seokjin.

Then she froze on her steps. Her eyes went to the man Seokjin was chatting with.

“Chairman, they’re from BH Group.” He turned to her.

Byul started to back away, her chest started to tighten. Her palms turned sweaty as she turned away.

“Chairman?”

She heard her phone slip right through her fingers as they trembled, then Byul started to run.
