Yeol slid down from the car, Hanbyul followed him, she had her hair in a messy ponytail as she walked behind him to the hotel.

“Huts?”

Chanyeol nodded as they entered the air-conditioned lobby, Byul paused as she noticed a few familiar faces walking on the beach a few meters away from the hotel. Shelby tugged on his leash, then they were approached by the hotel’s manager.

“We’re sorry, but we don’t allow pets in the hotel.” He said, Byul felt Chanyeol pulling her back.

“Manager Cha?” He spoke, the male paused and bowed.

“President Park!” He balked his eyes went to Byul and the dog.

“She’s with me, I hope everything’s been prepared for my guests.” Chanyeol spoke, the manager then nodded.

“You own this one?” Byul tugged at his sleeve, Chanyeol smiled before looping one arm around her neck.

“Partly.”

“Heol, cheeky.” She chuckled as she walked with him.

“Are you sure you’re going to be okay here? Saehee wanted to reserve the overwater bungalows instead of the rooms.”

“I think I will be, don’t worry. I’ll crash at yours if I cant sleep.” She chuckled before letting go of Shelby, the dog ran towards the beach and yelped happily.

Byul then rushed to her pet and chased him playfully, Chanyeol watched her and exhaled.

He smiled from afar.

“This is dangerous.” He murmured before turning back to the manager.

Chanyeol was in the middle of putting on a shirt when he heard someone knocking at the door. He rushed to the front door and opened it, Byul and Shelby were waiting for him, and she was dressed in a pair of hot shorts and a bralette top.

“Is something wrong?” He asked, Byul took his hand and pulled him.

“Let’s take a walk, staying on a house on top of a large body of water makes me jumpy.”

Chanyeol chuckled and followed her; she took hold of his hand as they walked.

“Kai was right, the chaebol kids are here.” She said as they reached the shore, Chanyeol noticed how most of them had glanced at Byul as they passed.

“These chaebol kids will soon be your circle of friends, baby doll.” He mused, Byul exhaled and glanced around them.

“It still scares me, I have to HwangSae’s president and KBS’s VP. I can’t even live alone in my own house.”

“Being alone isn’t a good thing either, besides you have me, I’ll help you.” Chanyeol grinned, she grinned and leaned her head on his arm as they walked.

“This is the life.” Saehee grinned as she sipped on some coconut water, Byul looked at Kai behind them.

“He’s still a player.” Byul nodded as she counted the girls preening around Kai. The two sisters, together with Mark, Sehun and Chanyeol were seated on a large cushioned beach mat by the ocean.

“What do they see in him? Kai’s a bully.” Byul shook her head as she took a sip of her pina colada.

“Right, unnie, I got the documents you sent. It was two boxes.”

Saehee grinned at her.

“We have to introduce Byul later, HwangSae’s BOD’s children.”

“Shut up, Mark.” Byul mumbled and leaned back, she faced the beach and found Shelby playing fetch with Luhan.

She paused.

“Lu ge!” She stood up, leaving her friends.

“Her friends are here.” Sehun commented, Chanyeol followed his gaze.

“Mei.” Lay grinned and gave her a hug.

“I see our young master has gathered all everyone.” Byul mused as Kris joined them, he handed her a bottle of water.

“You up for a game?” Tao asked, Byul’s brows rose.

“What~”

“Uh, miss Hwang?” Another male had approached them.

Chanyeol watched as Seungjin Group’s heir approached Byul.

“Oh, it’s Kijoon.” Saehee stated. Mark looked on and smirked at Sehun, they both glanced at Chanyeol.

“Yes?” Hanbyul spun around and looked at the male.

“We met a while back, at the Lunar New Year event.” He spoke with a smile.

“Ah, really?” Byul nodded, hesitant. Then the male offered his hand.

“We reserved a few jet skis, would you like to join us? We wanted to get to know you ever since.”

Kris’s eyes went to the male’s group of friends. Most of them had their eyes on Hanbyul.

“Ah, but I don’t know how to ride one, sorry.” Byul nodded politely.

“It’s okay,” He stepped forward, but Luhan and Tao blocked him by standing in between him and Byul.

“We..can teach..you.” Kijoon stuttered in confusion and fear.

“She’s with us.” Kris stated as he walked away, Lay took Byul’s hand and pulled her away. Tao smirked at the male before leaving.

“Whoa.” Mark mused, Chanyeol’s brows rose.

These guys must know about Byul’s trauma.

“She made good friends. All eligible bachelors.” Saehee grinned as she took a bite of her fry.

“Where are they taking Byul?” Sehun looked at the group.

“A lot of guys are interested her, she’s the second child of HwangSae. Her shares can stabilize any company. Plus, Byul has the face and body.” Kai said as he joined them.

“Are you trying to sell her?” Mark shook his head.

“No, I love Byullie. What I’m saying is that, I hear them talk; they all want to meet her. She’s pretty, mysterious and…well to use their term, hot.” Kai cringed.

Chanyeol was talking on the phone with his secretary; he had stepped away from his friends and the noise.

“Make sure you have them sent to me.” He nodded, then his eyes went to the open basketball court, he blinked. The bleachers gathered a few guys and they were howling.

Chanyeol ended the call and walked towards the court, then he halted.

“Two points, Little Star!” Lay chuckled as he stole the ball from Tao. Byul had changed into a pair of jersey shorts and her hair tied in a tight ponytail.

“Byul?” Chanyeol blinked, Kris passed the ball to her and she managed to escape Tao’s defense. With a flick of her wrist, her team earned another two points.

“Yixing!” Byul dribbled the ball while keeping away from Luhan, Chanyeol looked at the guys across him; all had their eyes on Byul admiringly.

“Hwang Byul.” Chanyeol murmured with a small smile, then he felt someone standing beside him.

“Chanyeol-ah.”

He looked at Ara, she was smiling up at him.

“I think we can talk here, right? Nobody’s watching and no one will talk.” She said carefully.

“Ara, we have nothing to talk about.”

Ara exhaled, her eyes went to the court, her brows rose.

“Is this because of her?” She asked, Chanyeol followed her gaze, Byul was drinking water across the court.

“Chanyeol, I came back for you and I regret everything~”

“It’s in the past, Ara. Let it remain there.” Chanyeol cut her off.

“Ya, don’t be like this. We had~”

“Park Yeol!” Byul was jogging to them, her cheeks were flushed from exhaustion and she was smiling at him.

“Is it time?” Byul asked hooking one arm around his, Yeol paused, confused.

“Time?”

“Lunch with Mark and unnie. You said pick me up from here” She stated flatly, she looked at Ara and smiled at her.

“Hanbyul-ssi, Chanyeol and I are~”

“Let’s go.” Byul let go of him and walked ahead, she turned her head at Ara, she smirked.

Do you think I’d let you hurt him again?

“Park Yeol!” She half-whined, Chanyeol turned away from Ara. Then he was walking beside her in his black muscle top and denim shorts.

“Since when did we have plans with Mark and Saehee? Do we even have plans?” He questioned, then Byul stopped, he followed her.

“I finally got my car.” She gestured towards a white Mercedes Benz M9. Chanyeol, blinked, he saw four more sports cars parked across them, Kris was grinning at him before getting in his vehicle.

“Where are we going, Byul?” He asked as he followed Byul.

“You’re going on a race, with my squad.” She smiled at him, and then she glanced at Ara behind them.

What to do? I can’t have Park Yeol hurting again.

“Get in, you giant.” She mused before sliding inside the driver’s seat.
