“That one’s mine!” I dug into the bag of candy.
Jay and I both had a sudden craving for jelly beans. We ended up stopping by one of the candy shops on our way home from school.
“I want that one!” Jay dodged my hand.
“Fine. I call the sour strips though.” I beamed.
He pulled one out and ate it, running into the house.
“JAY!” I whined, “YOU LOSER!” I ran after him, pushing him to the ground as we made it inside the house.

“I hate you!” I grabbed the bag of candy and ran into the kitchen.
“________!” he whined.
I squealed as he reached out and yanked it out my hands.
“AHEM.” We both stopped and stood straight up.
“MOM!” I beamed and ran to her.
She smiled, “Hi sweeatheart.” she hugged me tightly.
“Is dad here?” I asked, “Wait, you guys were in the Philippines like two days ago.”

“We wanted to surprise you.” my dad’s voice came from the hallway.
“DADDY!” I ran over.
“Hi Auntie Lim.” Jay hugged her, “Hi Uncle Jae.” he smiled.
“Wait…Why are you guys here?” I looked at both of them.
“Well, we got everything we needed done. We came to get you.” smiled my mom.
“W-what?” my heart sank.

“NO NO NO NO!” You and Jay cried, hugging each other.
“Don’t make me go!”
“Don’t make her go!” he echoed.
“Please!”
“Please!”
“I like it here!”
“She likes it here!”
“I actually have friends!”
“She actually has friends!”

Your parents held back laughter. “This isn’t funny!” you frowned.
“Sweetie. What did I tell you before you left?” asked your mom.
“That I wouldn’t want to leave, and you’re right I don’t want to!”
Your dad chuckled, “________, you aren’t leaving.”
Jay and you stopped the false tears, “What?”
“We knew that you would get attached so…we bought a house, here.”
You and Jay let go and high fived each other.
“It’s actually just down the street, we were going to wait another day but we couldn’t hold it in any longer.”
“And we’re neighbors!” Jay hugged you again.

“YOU’RE MOVING!?” Min nearly had a heart attack. Everyone in the courtyard stopped what they were doing.
“Down the street from Jay.” I finished the previous sentence.
“Oh my god!” she sighed, “I-you-ugh!” she threw her hands up in the air.
“I almost died!” she hugged me tightly.
I giggled, “Like I could leave after all that’s happened.”
“Mhm.” she raised a brow, “Like you could leave yo’ man~” she poked my ring.

I blushed as I looked at it. “Jay almost told them about the roses but I steered away from the subject.”
“Ohh~ Are you gonna tell them?” Min poked my side.
“I don’t know.” I sighed, “Maybe my mom, but then she’ll talk about it with my aunt and then she’ll ask Jay if he knew then-”
I stopped seeing Jieun hugging Yongguk. Min looked in the same direction and bit her lip.
“Oppa~” she sang, making him roll his eyes.

“Gross.” I coughed loudly. Min stifled her laugh as Jieun glared at me.
Jonghyun stood next to me, “I thought you wouldn’t mind.” he smirked.
“I don’t.” I lied, “Unless she’s infested like you are, in which case I’m being a good Samaritan by warning people.”
He chuckled, “Just admit it.” he looked at me.
“Admit what?” I asked innocently. Yongguk looked at us, continuing to remove Jieun’s hand.
The bell rang, Jonghyun said something under his breath before walking away.

“Bye oppa~” Jieun batted her lashes at Yongguk.
He rolled his eyes and looked at Zelo, “If I were a girl, I would beat the sh-”
“If you were a girl she wouldn’t be after you.” interrupted Himchan.
“Oppa!” Jieun pouted.
“LEAVE ME ALONE JIEUN!” Yongguk yelled before walking away.
I held back laughter as she huffed. “Why are you laughing?” she sneered.
Min looked at me, I shrugged, “I think it’s funny seeing you get rejected that’s all.”

“Sweetheart?” I heard my mom.
“In my room!” I called out. My new room! I was still moving stuff around, trying to get back the feel from my last one.
“There you are!” she walked in with my aunt.
“Hi Auntie Rin!” I beamed.
“Want to help us cook dinner?” she asked.
“Sure!” I hopped off my bed and walked downstairs.

I hummed while washing the vegetables. My mom and aunt watched with amused expressions. They exchanged looks, “What?” I asked.
“Something’s different.” my mom narrowed her eyes.
I heard my aunt gasp, “What is on your hand?!”
My eyes widened and I quickly grabbed a dish towel, pretending to dry them.
“Nothing.”

They both stood up and crossed their arms. “________.” said my mom.
I sighed and removed the towel, showing them the shiny silver band.
“Oooh.” my aunt poked my side, “Who gave you that?!”
“This is pure white gold!” my mom examined it closely.
“Who is he?” they asked.
“You can’t tell daddy, or Uncle Bae, or Jaebeom!” I said.
“Why not?”
“Okay well you can tell them, but I’ll tell Jaebeom.” I lied.

“Who is he?” repeated my mother.
“You know him.” I said. “He’s Bang Yoochan and Kang Minyoung’s son.”
“He gave you this?!” they exclaimed.
I nodded, “Wait til your father hears about this!” my mom smiled.
My jaw dropped, “But-”
“We’re actually meeting them this weekend. There’s a big dinner that his parent’s and Min’s parent’s are hosting.” she said, continuing to look at the ring.
“You should come!” said my aunt, “We’re bringing Jaebeom.”

“I don’t know if that’s such a great idea.” I said.
“Why not?” asked my mom.
“Well I mean, we’re all teenagers and you know how all that-”
“Oh nonsense! We’ll all get to see each other, your dad and I get to see our new in-laws.”
“MOM!” I gaped, “IN-LAWS?”
They laughed, “Oh _______, I’m just kidding!”
“Who knows, maybe they will be future in-laws.” smirked my aunt.

“Mom!” I whined, “Please don’t-”
“Don’t be a party pooper _______-ah!” she smiled, going back to the stove.
“It’s just a get together, come on don’t be like that!”
I sighed, “Fine.”
“I leave her for a few months and I come back and she has friends, a boyfriend, a…”
I drowned out her voice while silently panicking about how Jay would react. He’d probably kill us, well not really but he’d be really really really mad. I’d just have to tell him before Jonghyun or Jieun does.

“Hey guys!” beamed Sunny.
“Hi!” we looked up from our books.
“I just wanted to invite you all to my birthday party this weekend.” she handed us small invitations. “It’s going to be CRAY-ZEE!”
I giggled, “We’ll be there!” smiled Jia.
“Yay~ Can’t wait!” she beamed and continued on her way.

“So you told your mom and aunt?” said Fei.
“Yeah.” I sighed, “I told them that I would tell Jay.”
“How’s that going?” asked Jia.
“I figure that if I send him a text and hide out he’ll eventually just forget about it and then after a while I can come out from hiding.”
Min chuckled, “You’re going to have to tell him before Saturday.”
“I know.” I fidgeted, “I’m worried.”
“At least he’ll hear it from you and not from Jonghyun or Jieun.”

“I guess.” I shrugged.
“Do Yongguk’s parents know about you?” they asked.
I nodded, “He told me that he had talked to them and that they like me because they’ve already met me before.” I smiled a little.
“In the green zone with the parents. Nice.” Fei clicked her tongue.
“I don’t know how to tell Jay.” I brought up the subject again.
I buried my face in my hands, “This is going to be difficult.”

“Oppa?” I asked.
“Yeah?” he had his eyes on the road.
“Uhm…Never mind.” I sighed.
“You okay _______?” he asked.
“Yeah, yeah I’m fine.” I lied.
I still hadn’t told him about Yongguk and I. We were on our way to Sunny’s party after much convincing from him my parents finally let us go. All though I did slip in that I would be sleeping over at Min’s.

“We’re here~” he slowly came to a stop and parked near the house. She wasn’t kidding when she said it would be crazy, it was INSANE. The music was up full blast, allowing the whole block to hear it. Spray paint dripped from two story house, toilet paper hung from the trees and roof, and if I’m not mistaken I’m pretty sure I saw a bicycle up by one of the second story windows.

“Okay, be careful Sunny’s parties tend to get-”
“Wild?” I finished.
He chuckled, “Yeah, but well if we don’t see each other after this…good night.” he said.
I gave him a blank stare, “We aren’t gonna die are we?”
He shook his head, “Someone might go missing for a few days but no one ever dies.”

I gaped and shove his shoulder, “That’s not funny! Now I want to go home!”
“Oh come on! I’m just kidding!” he laughed.
“No you’re not.” I looked at him.
He shrugged, “You’re right, someone did go missing but they were fine!
“Are you sure?” I asked, looking at the house.
“Come on, I need a night like this.” he sighed, getting out of the car.

I lost Jay as soon as we walked in. There was people everywhere, smoke clouded my sight that I could barely make out faces.
“________!” I turned and saw Min.
“Hey!” I smiled.
“Come on, we’re taking shots!” she pulled me along.
In the kitchen Jia and Fei were surrounded by people, you saw a few familiar faces giving them a wave. Yongguk stood by the refrigerator, he came up poking your side.

“Hey babe.” he smiled.
“Hi~” I beamed.
I sat on the counter and he handed me a drink. We talked, making it seem as if we were nothing more than barely getting to know each other.
“S-stop flirting with…my cousin!” Jay slurred.
“Oh god.” I hopped off the counter, “Are you okay?”

“I’m…I’m fi-fine!” he grabbed another shot glass and downed it.
Jia looked at me with a worried expression. A light bulb went off in my head.
“Oppa. Yongguk and I are-”
“Shh...hhh!” he interrupted, “WE‘RE HERE TO HAVE FUN!” he put his glass in the air, making the surrounding people cheer.
I sighed, “So it is true.” Yongguk and I turned, seeing Jonghyun.
“Yeah it is, now back the up.” Yongguk shoved him away.
“You hear that oppa!” Jieun went over to Jay.
“Your cousin is dating him!” she pointed at us. People went wide eyed and looked at us. “Are you listening to me?!” She shoved him lightly in his seat.

He dropped his head on the table, already passed out from the massive amount of alcohol he had. She groaned and threw a glare my way before storming out of the house. “TO LIL’ PARK AND JEPP!” cheered Teddy, lifting a shot glass.
I made my way to see if Jay would be okay. “He’ll be fine!” assured Junkyung, handing me a shot.

shots and 20? 25? Maybe 30? Beers later…
“THAT‘S GROSS!” shouted Jia. We all turned seeing Kyung passed out on the floor, Zico gagging above him. “DUDE THAT’S ED U-” His body convulsed and he threw up everything he had on Kyung.
Yongguk carried you on his back when you tripped over your own feet. He couldn’t stop laughing as he saw Zelo and Himchan spooning on the couch, he nearly dropped you.

You hopped off and clinged to him. He kissed you, freely since everyone knew already. You could care less, you were drunk beyond comprehension. “OHHHH!” people whistled seeing you and him lock lips. Maslo came over and separated you, “D-don’t vio-vio-” he swallowed, “Wait what was I-saying?” Everyone continued to laugh.

Min felt all the alcohol coming back out. She quickly ran upstairs to the bathroom, covering with her hand. She made it just in time, throwing up in the toilet. She grimaced as she washed in the sink, spitting out the water. “Ugh.” she squealed and jumped seeing someone get up from the bathtub.

“Jay?” she sighed. His shirt was torn and he had writing along his neck. A large pink, feathery boa was wrapped around his neck with oversized pink sunglasses over his eyes.
“Ow.” he rubbed the back of his head. As he got out he tripped, she helped him but ended up falling next to him. Jay sat up and leaned his head back against the wall.
“You know…” he sighed, “I just wish that…she had ne-ver come back-k.”
Min felt terrible, she had never told anyone this but when they first went into high school she had the biggest crush on Jay.

“I’ve had one…three…FOUR yearsh.” he gulped, “And I am still not-not over her.”
“I must seem like the biggest in the world.” he chuckled.
“You’re not.” she said, suddenly sober, “You were hurt Jay. It’s hard to get over something like that.”
“I’m never gonna get over her am I?” he sniffed.
She didn’t know why, but she turned his head to face her and kissed him.

“M-min.” he said, breaking away, “What are y-you doing?” he looked surprised.
She touched her lips, “I don’t know.”
He pulled her in again, their hands starting to wandered and clothing starting to come off.

“I’m still fly, I’m sky high and I dare anybody to try and burn my wings.”

I groaned and searched for my phone.
“Yoboseyo?”
“Good, you’re alive.” It was Jia.
“What happened last night?” I squinted and brushed away my messy hair. I panicked, seeing that I wasn’t wearing anything under the sheet. I sighed with relief seeing Yongguk next to me, still asleep.
“You don’t remember?”
“Just some parts…was there a cow or something?”
“We went cow tipping.”

“Oh God.” I gulped. “Oh my god. It’s all coming back. Ke$ha.”
“Yeah, that was a big one.”
“I sang ‘Blow’ didn’t I? Oh god. Go insane, go insane.”
“Then you threw glitter and made it rain.” she chuckled.
“Oh my, and then the ‘Let me see them Hanes.’ I lifted up peoples shirts didn’t I?!” I covered my face. “Yesung and Siwon must feel violated.”
“They didn’t have Hanes, more like Calvin Klein’s but no one is mad about that, trust me.”
“I exposed Yongguk’s didn’t I?”
“Zico tried to, but you smacked his hand and said that those were for your eyes only.”

I sighed, “That sounds about right…Are Fei and Min okay?”
“Fei got here earlier, I think something happened between her and Teddy. I’ll get it out of her later. I was about to call Min.”
I nodded, “Okay.” I yawned, “I’ll see you tonight then unnie.”
“Okay~Bye.”


I felt the bed shift and warm hands tickle my sides. “Babe.” Yongguk called out in his sleepy, husky voice.
“I’m still here.” I laid back down. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer.
“Where are we?” I rubbed my temples.
He lifted his head, his hair sticking out in different directions, “Himchan’s room.”
“What?” I squeaked.
“Chill, my parent’s are at home, so are yours. I took his key last night, his parent’s aren’t coming back until later tonight.”

I chuckled and smoothed out his hair. He nuzzled my neck and kissed me a few times. “You think Jay will remember?” he asked.
I sighed, that I did remember. “I don’t know.” I sighed, “I just hope he won’t shut me out.”
“Don’t worry. Everything will be okay.” he kissed my forehead.
“You ready to meet my parents…again?” I asked.
He chuckled, “Yes I am. Mine are excited to see you.” he smiled. “I’m excited to show you off too.”

I blushed and kissed him, slowly climbing over.
“Hmm, someone’s frisky this morning.” he chuckled, gripping my sides.
I smirked, “Actually I was just going to shower.” I wrapped the sheet around me and walked away.
He yanked me back, “Let’s save water then.” he threw me over his shoulder, despite my giggling pleads.

Min woke up on the cold tile floor. The bright morning sun seeping in through the window. She felt an arm around her waist, she turned to her right and saw Jay, still asleep. She mentally slapped herself, Stupid stupid stupid! What did you do?! she said to herself angrily. Without a second thought she quickly got dresses and left, praying that he wouldn’t remember what had happened between them.
