November at Seoul, Korea.  Years 2006.

A young man looks outside his windows at level 12 at his office in Emerald Company main building. He just 20 years old but he achievement in business is something to be proud about. He manage to add two big shopping complex in Seoul and Busan under the same name in US which is Emerald Shopping center but this time he change it in Korean language. He also builds a 5 star hotel in Seoul and Busan under the same name and one in Jeju Island. He also has a business in education which he builds a school which he named it JAA (which are the signature of his name, Jordan Anthony Ashbourne) International School and JAA College of Art and Business and he also venture to new businesses which are the entertainment business. He can see that this business can give back a load of profit in the future. He was a big share holder in MBC and SBS Company, and right now he was in process to build a FNC company. As usual he doesn’t really manage the company himself. He will appoint a big manager to conduct the business and he just get the profit from his share. From other point of view he only a share holder but true to be said, he is the owner of all the company he venture because his share is 70% more than the others. But as in his personality, he never shows that he own the company and never argues to whom he appointed to run the business. He was someone who everyone wants to be friend and not an enemy in business. He can kill anyone business if he wants to but until this moment no one ever cross the line to be his enemies accept his grandfather of cause. But true to be said his grandfather just a small fish in business compare to him. So they cannot do any harm to him.

There are a knock at his door and as usual one of his secretary come and tell him,

 

Lee Shin POV

 

“Mr. Lee, a spoke person from FNC Music Japan is already arriving. They waiting for you in meeting room no 1 as you ask for.” said the secretary.

“Thank you and where the hell is Mr. Choi. Call him and ask him to meet me at the meeting room as well. And also ask my personal secretary to come see me after he do the errand I ask him to do. Make sure he is here when I come back from the meeting. And ask Mrs. Kang take a note in a meeting. The meeting will be conduct in Japanese so prepared.”

I walk past her to the meeting room, and I see Mrs. Kang running to follow me to the meeting.

 

It was a long discussion but at last I succeed to make a business deal with FNC Music from japan to open the branch in Korea which will be under 90% share is mine. And like usual, I will only have 70% profit and 20% will go to the management and workers which I will appoint to conduct the business. So now the business will start. FNC group in Korea will not only for music but also any entertainment business such as movies and dramas. I can see in my mind that many artists will come from FNC group in Korea.

 

I forget to mention that I venture this business not only for profit but it was also my passion. I love music especially when it comes to playing the instrument. The best instrument I play is Guitar. So I already build the building for the company but I don't want to make a new name that why I want to open the branch from the establish company so that they can give an introduction how to run the business. I cannot have the same branch from the existing entertainment and Music Company in Korea as SM or YG. It is not fair for them. It their hard work. I appreciate the hard work from others and I am not cruel to crash others. It not my games, I play fair games in business.

 

“Mr. Lee, how the meeting? I already bought the entire thing you ask me for and I already put it in your car. Do you want me to drive you to home?” Ask my personal secretary, Mr. So Ming.

“Hmm, drive me to my great grandfather house. Today is a Lee Chung Birthday and I so damned tired to meet the others (this is referring to my grandfather families). I think I will just meet my great grandfather and auntie and Lee Chung and then I will go home to my mansion. Please wait for me at the party. Understand. Don't make me call you to ask where you about.” I add. He just nods his head couple of time and smile. He knows very well that I mean very well all my words. He has been working with me 3 years now that is when I start to conduct my own business when I am 17 years old. When all my parents properties are solidly belong to me not my guardian although my great grandfather take care of it with his love for me. Thanks to him I am still wealthy now (he he he).

 

At the party.

 

As usual when I come here for family gathering I will feel hatred in the air. My father step brother and sisters hate me because I was more richer than them and my grandfather hate me more because he know that one day all my great grandfather wealthy will go down to me and make me more rich than them. But they already know that without my great grandfather wealthy, I am still rich than them. Lee family especially my great grandfather owns a properties business which he also owns an architecture business and also in a food business which he own a big land for agriculture business.  My grandfather has business in transportation and with a help from my great grandfather business he can conduct his business. I don't really care about properties or agriculture business, my grandfather already knows these because I already told him that my passion is in my parents business. But I will take good care of his business and when the time comes I will just give it to my dongsaeng Lee Chung. My great grandfather love me and agreed that I can do anything about his wealth that I think right, but from now  he will put my name as the owner of his wealth.

 

I greet my great grandfather and Lee Chung run to me and give me a hug. He already 10 years old but he always hug me when we meet. He love me as his hyung and I take good care of him and his mother as a promise I give to my great grandfather the first day I came to Korea.

 

“I bought you all the thing that you ask from me. But I will not buy you any until next year. Get it.” I said and give him a pat in a shoulder.

“Don't spoil him to much Shin ahh. He will be a spoil bred if you do so. “My lovely auntie said to me and looks at her only son.

“I want him to have what I can't have when I am a child auntie. And don't worries he will not be spoil kid. I promise you. And how about you, do you need anything aunt Mei” I said to my aunt and give her a hug and a kiss in her cheek.

“And you listen to your mom and study hard, because one day you will be an owner of the Lee Company that I manage for you right now. If you not, I will give it away to any other Lee in Korea.”I said to my dongsaeng. He nods his head.

“I cannot stay long great grandfather, auntie. I have fly to US tomorrow. I have meeting there. I will be back two week from now.” I look at my great grandfather for forgiveness.

“It ok Lee Shin, go back and rest. And tomorrow I will come to your mansion to meet with your old butler and driver. I have to win back my money from them. I lose to Mr.Matthew yesterday playing porker, I think Mr.Matthew is cheating.” he whisper to me.

“But you always lose great grandfather; I think you are not good at playing it.” I smile to him and bid my good bye to both of them and give my hug to Lee Chung.

“Can you come meet me when you back from US, Hyung.”Lee Chung asks.

“Yes, I will come after I finish my work at US, Ok.” I said to him.

 

 

 

 

March at Seoul, Korea, Years 2012.

 

It is already 6 pm and in one of the studio at FNC Group building, Jordan Anthony Ashbourne Lee or Lee Shin which now is 26 years old playing one of a guitar in the studio. He always come here when he need to lose his pressured. He always lonely before he venture in entertainment business such as SBS and MBC and build FNC group but now in FNC group he found many friends which most of them are famous artist, and like him they also don't much time to play around because they want to catch their dream and because they have so many fan they cannot walk freely like other people. They don't have a leisure to walk around without peoples notice who there are. And because of that, they only have a friends among them self and lucky for him, he found friends among them.

 

 

 

Lee Shin POV

 

It quiet tonight. I think CNBlue have a schedule tonight. FT Island also has a schedule tonight as well. Maybe, I should call them first. But as usual I just pop out from nowhere to be here and playing the guitar the most think I love.

 

“Hyung, what are you doing here? I heard that you are outstation.”JungHyun come and sit beside me. I look at him and smile.

“Hyung, Don’t you stop, it so good. Why don't you be in the band? You always come here to play a guitar. Some time I wonder why nobody stop you to come, you not work here, you not an artist you … who are you really.”This freak guitarist will always ask me the same question when I come to play guitar here. Actually not only him, all FNC artists ask me who I am that can access any room in FNC building.

“Lee Shin Hyung, you come. I heard you are outstation.” Ask Minhyuk.

“I already ask him that and the other question as well and as usual he just smiles.”Junghyun ask and look at me plugging the guitar.

“You ask him again the same question, so hyung can you tell us what your connection to FNC big manager. He never ask you why you come when he look at you last time. He just walks past you.”ask Minhyuk again.

“Hyung, you are here as well. When you come back?” Yong Hwa comes with Jungshin in the tow.

“Hmm, do you guy have anything tonight.” I ask them.

“We have a birthday party to go. It is SNSD Taeyeon Noona. Because of Yong Soo Nim, we become friend with SNSD. Thanks to her. We are invited.” Jungshin tell me with his smile.

“How about FT Island, does they been invited as well” I ask.

“I think so, because SNSD invite all their friends and Jei Jin and Hong Ki is their friends as well.”explain Yong Hwa with his eyes look at Jung Shin.

“Hmm, if that so, I think I meet you guys tomorrow than.” I said to them but still my hand plugging the guitar.

“How about you come with us Hyung, you know SM artists as well such as SJ, Shinee, and I think artists from others company will be there too.”Yong Hwa said.

“Oh, Thanks but no thanks. I don't really a birthday party guy and I don't want to come without invitation.”I said to him. Actually it is true, I don't like party because I have to be socializing with others. I hate to make a conversation. It difference when you just hang around with friends especially with these guy, FT Island or SJ or Shinee. But among them, I love hanging around with SJ group because with them you just listened. They are too loud and some of them is in the same age with me. 

“Hyung, you still not answer my question. What connection you have with our big manager.”Minhyuk ask me again the same question.

“I already answer that question many times. Don't I? I told you guy already that I am rich and that it. I am rich to be here. Ha ha ha ha...” I said to him and laugh. They look at me with a question look.

“You always said that but how rich are you hyung?” Jungshin ask.

“Rich enough to not be artists to be here..ha ha ha ha..”I said back. Then I look at Yong Hwa because I see he bring out his hp and call someone.

 

 

YONG HWA AND SEO HYUN CONVERSATION

 

“Hello, Hyun ahh”

“Oppa, do you come tonight”

“Dea..”

“I meet you there ok”

“Ok..... Hyun ahh, can Oppa bring a friend of us”

“Of cause you can Oppa, it was a birthday party”

“I told him already but he said he don't come without invitation, can you ask Teayeon nonaa if he can come.”

“Ok, How about I ask unnie to talk to him. Wait a second ok”

SEO HYUN CONVERSATION and Her UNNIES

“Teayeon Unnie..., Yong Oppa calls and asks if he can bring a friend of them. His friend doesn’t want to come if no invitation to him.”  Ask Seo Hyun.

“Wow, CN Blue want to bring their friends.” Soo Young ask.

“Not friends unnie just a friend.” said Seo Hyun,

“Does he is handsome.” Said Yuri and Yoona Squeal beside her.

“Ask him to bring a big present.” said Tiffany.

“Teayeon Unnie can you talk to him now.” ask Seo Hyun again.

“Ok, bring that phone to me.”

 

“Hello Yong Hwa shi..., Can I speak to your friend.” ask Teayeon to Yong Hwa who still in the line.

“Ohh hello Teayeon shi. Oh Please talk to him and please can you invite him to come to your party.” said Yong Hwa.

“Hyung, someone wants to speak with you.”ask Yong Hwa.

“Put on a speaker” I said. It is not that I don't want to take a phone but right now my hand is fully occupied.

 

LEE SHIN POV

 

“Hello,” I said

“Hello, I am SNSD Teayeon. I want to invite you to come to my birthday party. You can come if you can and want to.” said Teayeon.

“Thank You, Hmm .. Do you have a wish that you want too. Anything, I will give it to you.”I said to her. I heard a loud of noise at the end of her line.

“Give her a boyfriend, she need a boyfriend.”

“No, give her a house.”

“No, give her a love”

“No, she needs a ring first”

“No, she needs a husband”

“No, you idiot she have to have a boyfriend before she have husband and the ring will come with a husband and husband will come with a house.”

“So, she needs a boyfriend”

“No.., she needs a love first before she has a boyfriend.”

“Sorry, don't listen to them. Just come. You don't have to bring anything. Ok. Just come.” said Teayeon and she end the call.

 

“So hyung, you will come with us right.” Ask Yong Hwa with a grin in his face.

“I think so. When this party anyway?” I ask him back.

“It should be at 8 pm and now it already 7 pm.” Jung Shin answers my question.

“So, I only left 1 hour to buy the entire think they ask me to buy for her.” I said to them.

“Do you really buy her the entire thing that her friends said just now? Do you really that rich?”Jungshin ask me.

“But Hyung, we cannot go outside without our disguise.”Minhyuk said.

“It ok, we don't have to. Just like I told you guy so many time that I am too rich that I don't have to be artists to do what I like. And I don't have to do it myself, we just wait for the present come to us. So, we just wait at my car. Then we go the party together.”I said to them. Then I make a call to Mr. So, my personal secretary.

“Hello, hmm...No, It ok. No, I have my car.... No...I just want you to bring a tray of ring at the store to me, …. any shape, what size? How could I know... just bring size that suit a girl that maybe same size like.... hmmm.. Like Teayeon SNSD, maybe.... No... It a present.... a friend.... why do you need to know? Just do what I said. A couple ring?... Ok bring that too... how many? Just bring ok... Hmm... Ohh also bring a key to my new apartment. No, I don't stay there. You know why I bought it so why you ask this stupid question. NO!!! I don't bring girl around, you stupid. Just bring the key. Ok.. I meet you at a car parking at ESC. YES NOW.” I put down my HP.

“Geesh this guy got so many questions. I don't know why he still be my PA (Personal Assistant).”I said to myself which is to loud to be heard by the others.

 

 

 

I park my car at my parking at Emerald shopping complex. They look at me because I park at the signed parking. But none say anything. A man, come and bring a couple of ring tray with a security guard in tow come in view. I step out from my car and the others join me. We wait until the man stand in front me.

“Here you are, Sir.” Mr. So gives me a tray.

“Hold it, Let me choose. You guy can help me to.”I said to the guys.

“How about these couple rings Hyung. It simple but the cut is so beautiful.” said Jung Hyun.

 

“Hmm, you right. I take this. Where is the box?” I ask Mr. So. He pull something from his pocket and give it to me. And he also give me a key to my new apartment that I bought just for fun to decorate it        (Interior design). Actually I have many houses, apartments and lands. It just likes hobbies that have in my blood, just like my parents. I will buy something that I like, and I don't really care why I bought it. It maybe a negative part in my personality but it still ok cause I am rich enough to have that personality in me.

“Thanks Mr. So. You can go now.” I said and all of us go back inside the car and I drive it.

“Yong Hwa, where is the party again?” I ask Yong Hwa.

“It is at SM Building. They use one of the practice rooms there.”He said and I start drive my car to the destination.

“Hyung, can I ask you a question?” Yong Hwa asks me.

“Hmm...” I look at him and nod.

“How rich are you.”He asks again.

“Hmm... I don't know. I never do the calculation but I know I am a rich man in Korea. Ha ha ha ha” I said and laugh.

“Actually no one ever ask me how rich I am, because they know that I am rich.” I said to them as matter of fact it is true. No one ever ask me how rich I am.

“But, what you see today. Can you guy keep it to yourself only.” I don't want other people know how rich I am. I just want to be normal just like you guys.” I said to them, and believe me I said these word to others people as well such as some members in SJ (especially Eunhyuk), Shinee, FT Island, Big Bang, TVXQ, and 2PM. And because of these words, all of them just let it go. No one ever tell anyone about how rich I am. They keep it to them self. I don't ask them to keep my secret in heart but they know how to keep it as a secret because they also keep their secret all of their life, because they are artists.
