Entry 37
That Particular Boy09.09.2014 (Tuesday)
Comparing how much we love each other might not be the worst idea yet…
“Kyungsoo-oppa, I love you, you know that right?” I tried to act cute but it only succeeded in raising suspicion from Squishy.
“Did you do something wrong?” He quirked a brow.
“No, I just want to tell you that.”
“Hm, then I love you more.” Squishy stated casually.
“No, I love you more.” I said, somewhat challenging him to prove otherwise.
“Oh yeah? How are you going to prove it?”
“Aegyo competition.” I held my head high, since I have the most aegyo out of all my friends.
“You’ll definitely lose.” He chuckled, his reply was not quite what I expected.
“I have a ton of aegyo packed in me!” I exclaimed.
“Me too!” He reached for my cheeks and pinched either side lightly. “Jagi~”
I didn't swat his hands away, instead I gave a lopsided smile and made bunny ears with my fingers. “Yes, oppa?”
“Saranghaeyo~” He proceeded to do a childish wink with a peace sign.
“I love you too! Oppa bbuing bbuing~”
“I love you more~”
“No I love you more~”
“Jagi just let me win already~”
“Not going to happen, oppa~”
“Well I still love you more~”
“No I love you more oppa~”
“That’s gross.” In the midst of our cutesy actions and flirty words, we didn't notice that Jongjae was outside the shop, waiting for us to serve them.
“Oh you’re here. Who do you think loves more in our ship?”
“You two are being childish.” Hwajae rolled her eyes as she commented, not answering my question.
“Just tell us!”
“Give us our drinks and we’ll tell you.” Kai held his hand out, asking for said items.
“You said it.”
Squishy and I rushed to the kitchen and split up the workload, preparing the drinks in record timing. We then shoved them to Jongjae, who didn't quite keep their word.
“Thanks for the drinks!” Kai grinned widely before pulling Hwajae away from the shop with him.
“You said you’ll give us an answer!” I yelled after them, but they just kept running away from the shop.
“Bye!” Hwajae shouted. “We’ll pay you back tomorrow!”
“Stupid Jongjae.” I huffed, pouting at Squishy.
“I haven’t backed down yet though.” His declaration reminded me of the little competition we were having.
“Fine, you win.” I crossed my arms like a small child. I wasn't exactly unhappy that I admitted defeat, because that meant Squishy loved me enough not to lose this battle.
“But I can always love you less and let you win.” He joked, causing me to narrow my eyes at him.
“No, don't do that.”
“I don't have the heart to do it anyway.” He ruffled my hair and resided to the kitchen, leaving me standing at the counter, secretly feeling self-content.
