Jongjae became official two days ago!

I made my way to the bubble tea shop as per usual after my lessons, only that Hwajae insisted on tagging along that day. I originally thought she wanted to get a drink from the shop and get a glimpse of Kai at the same time, but she followed me into the kitchen when I arrived.

“Why are you coming in?” I blocked her off from the kitchen, placing my hands on either side of my hips.

“For fun.” She shrugged before pushing me away and taking a seat.

“Hi babe.” Kai slung his arm over Hwajae’s shoulders, pulling her closer to him.

“Did you just call her ‘babe’?” I asked, not believing my ears.

“Yeah.”

“And you let him?” I turned to Hwajae, who only gave so much as a shrug.

“Something fishy is going on…” I my imaginary beard while darting my eyes between the two.

“Are you two together?” Squishy asked nonchalantly while setting down a few cups.

“Well, yeah.” Kai nodded.

“Jongjae is official?!” I squealed.

“Yes, now shush.” Hwajae stuck a finger out and pressed it against my lips, to which I swatted away.

“Wait, what happened to our operation?”

“What operation?” Hwajae raised one of her brows while tilting her head.

“The Jongjae operation, duh.”

“You guys planned something behind my back, didn't you?” Hwajae deadpanned.

“Yes.” Squishy beat me to it and answered with that innocent smile of his.

“I ought to kill you two.” Hwajae lunged for me, but I jumped into Squishy’s arm before she could do anything to me. She opted for a kick to Squishy’s shins, which earned a yelp from him.

“Why me?” He rubbed the area she kicked.

“You did the same before we were together!” I referred to Squishycookies.

“Chill.” Kai said in an attempt to cool Hwajae down.

“You were in this with them too, weren’t you?” Hwajae narrowed her eyes at Kai.

“Uh…”

“You little-”

“Hyung, save me!”
