I hear voices but can’t understand what is said.

There are blurred images of faces peering down at me and moving away then darkness comes again.

Consciousness fades in and out.

I can’t tell if I am dreaming or not. One moment I am lying on bathroom tiles.

The next I feel my body being moved around on a bed and the blurred images and voices are back.

I lay there forever and sometimes groaning with every exhalation just to hear something.

Gradually things become clearer.

For a moment, when I open my eyes I feel like I have a gap in my memory.

It feel’s so blank and I can’t remember a thing.

I look around slowly.

I’m in a bed. That’s for sure.

But it’s not mine. The room I’m in is also not mine.

I feel somehow relaxed.

I try to recall what happened. But nothing comes to me.

I very slowly sit up. I have another look around trying to look for at least one similar to me detail but I’ve never been in this room before.

Once I’m fully in a sitting position I uncover myself from the pile of blankets.

I want to step out the bed but when I step on what I assumed was a floor I hear a short scream.

“OUCH”

I jump in shock when I realize I’ve stepped on someone’s head.

“Lay?!” I ask sitting back down on a bed to avoid stepping on his body again.

“What are you doing on a floor?!”

“Sun-Yung!” He screams, almost bursting out with happiness as if he forgot about the pain he experienced just a few seconds ago.

He ignored or maybe not even heard my question and pulled me into a hug.

It was so tight I could feel my bones crack.

“L-Lay please I-I can’t move” I breath out.

He slowly lets me go but instead he grabs both of my hands and looks at me with teary eyes.

“Are you okay? Does your head hurt? Do you feel dizzy? Do you remember your name? What’s your name Sun-Yung?”

I nearly fell from the bed from laughter.

“Lay, dummy. Of course I remember my name. I remember you as well why would I forget it? And I’m fine. I feel great actually. I just can’t remember what happened and where am I right now?”

He sighs in what I suppose is a relief but the radiating happiness smile from his face fades away and becomes more serious.

“Sun-Yung, well” Before continuing he finally get’s up from the floor letting my hands free and sits himself beside me on the bed.

“Do you really can’t remember a thing?” He asks.

I think for a while but I really can’t get myself to remember anything.

“My mind is blank now” I say honestly.

“You see… You’ve been in.. you can say a..‘coma’ for the last 2 weeks.”

“What?? 2 weeks? Are you saying that I’ve been asleep for the past 2 weeks?!”

Lay seemed to be prepared for this type of reaction from me so he quickly calmed me down by getting hold of one of my hand again.

“Yes. Do you remember coming back from earth here with Jongin?”

The memory hits me suddenly.
