"Ajhussi...", Bom held her head low as she approached Gong ajhussi.

 

The party had finally finished, with none of the girls or boys interacting....much to the girls' relief. Once back at Gong Restaurant, Bom felt that she should apologise to ajhussi for the incident that happened earlier on. 

 

Gong ajhussi turned around to face Bom with a stern face.

 

"I'm...really sorry for what happened.., "Bom apologised.

 

"You should be!", Gong ajhussi crossed his arms.

 

"I know...I'm really sorry-"

 

"Why didn't you stand up for yourself?!", Ajhussi said.

 

"Neh?", Bom looked up surprised.

 

"Everyone saw it was that guy who threw that drink at you! So why did you apologise?!"

 

"Ajhussi...", Bom stuttered.

 

"Appa's right unnie", Minzy stepped forward, "We may just be waitresses but we're humans too, he was in the wrong"

 

"I just...didn't want to disappoint you...", Bom looked at the floor again.

 

"Well you did....by not standing up for yourself!", Ajhussi said sternly, "Next time a guy throws a drink at you, no matter how rich he is throw a drink right back in his face!", Ajhussi smiled kindly.

 

"And while you're at it, kick him where it hurts!", Dara added in.

 

Bom smiled and giggled with them, "Thank you...."

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Um...sorry to come by so late.."

 

 

They turned around to find Seungri there.

 

"Seungri shi?", Ajhussi walked towards him, "Was there something you needed?"

 

"Um...", Seungri looked at CL.

 

Ajhussi nodded understanding what he meant, he signalled the other girls into the kitchen and left CL and Seungri alone.

 

 

 

CL looked away nervously.

 

"CL?...", Seungri stepped forward.

 

CL stepped back slightly.

 

"I'm...sorry-"
 

"It's ok Seungri....Daesung told me..", CL said.

 

"What do you mean?", Seungri asked.

 

"It's ok really, you're the heir to Lee Properties, obviously if your parents saw you with me they wouldn't like it...I understand", CL said trying to sound ok.

 

Seungri nodded slowly, "Are you ok?"

 

"Of course...", CL smiled, "Mianhe.... but I really have a lot of work to finish off here so..."

 

"Right...sure", Seungri said as he bit his lip, "But..I just wanted to say I'm sorry about what happened tonight"

 

CL nodded and then bowed, "It was nice to have met you Seungri shi", she turned around and went into the kitchen.

 

Seungri stared at the kitchen door for a while before sighing and leaving the restaurant.

 

 

 

 

"Are you ok?", Bom asked softly.

 

"Yup", CL smiled trying to sound cheerful and started drying the dishes.

"Bom....", Dara said while they both were lying in their sofa bed.

 

"Hmm?", Bom replied as she read through her Human Metabolism book.

 

"Jiyong...", Dara whispered again.

 

Bom looked up at Dara.

 

"I'm confused...", Dara said.

 

"Why?", Bom asked.

 

"When he used to follow me around and annoy me I wished more than anything else for him to leave me alone...", Dara said sadly, "But then why did it hurt so much when he ignored me tonight?", she looked towards Bom.

 

"You know why he did that right?", Bom said.

 

Dara nodded, "It still hurts though..."

 

Bom closed her book and then laid on her back next to Dara, "Maybe what you always say is right....they don't belong in our world...and we definitely don't belong in theirs..."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Outside their little rooftop house, Jiyong sat in his car staring at the light shining through the girls' window. When the lights finally went off, he turned back to his steering wheel and sighed sadly.

 

His phone started ringing bringing him back to reality, when he realised it was Taeyang he answered.

 

"Yoboseyo?"

 

"Ji...where are you?"

 

Jiyong smiled sadly and looked back at the tiny house, "You won't believe it...."

 

"What do you mean? Are you ok?"

 

Ji rested his head back and sighed, "I'm outside Dara's house...."

 

"Dara?!"

 

Ji chuckled, not believing he was there either, "I know...I must be insane right?"

 

"What are you doing there?"

 

"Just wanted to be near her..."

 

"Did you get to see her then?"

 

Ji shook his head, "No"

 

"Right...so you wanted to see her but instead you're waiting outside her house like a creep"

 

Ji looked down at his hands and then back at Dara's window, "I think...from now on I can only see her from this far...."

Taeyang ended his call with Jiyong and looked up at the boys, "Looks like we've got a problem..."

 

"Is Ji hyung ok?", Daesung asked.

 

"Well...he's in love", Taeyang shrugged, "Just with the wrong girl."

 

 

Seungri walked in and slumped onto the couch and headed straight for a drink.

 

 

"I should have known they were going to work there tonight...this is all my fault, and then poor Bom-", Daesung looked nervously at TOP.

 

TOP spun his glass slowly around in his hand staring into space.

 

"I think we've got a problem here too", Daesung mouthed to Taeyang as he pointed to TOP.

 

"I heard that", TOP said as he took another swing of his drink.

 

"Did something happen between you and Bom when you went outside?", Taeyang asked.

 

"Just me being a jerk....again", TOP replied.

 

"The girls must be so..." Daesung said.

 

"Hurt?", Taeyang finished.

 

"That's defintely one word to describe CL when I went to see her..", Seungri joined the conversation.

 

"You saw them?", TOP sat up.

 

"Yup....", Seungri sipped his drink again, "I don't think I'll be seeing CL again..."

 

"Because of your parents?", Daesung asked.

 

"No...because she said so", Seungri answered, "She said it was nice to have met you....meaning goodbye...forever."

 

"Maybe it's for the best...", Taeyang added, "They're really lovely girls...but if we stay close to them...they're only going to get hurt..."

 

"I know you're right hyung...but what if I don't want to do what's right anymore", Seungri asked sincerely.

 

"And have your parents rip CL apart? Don't you remember what happened to Ji's hyung?", TOP said gravely.

 

That silenced Seungri.

 

"Taeyang's right...this is for the best", TOP convinced himself.
