Chen smiles broadly as Sooyun steps out of her room.  He lets out a low whistle, making her blush.  “Well, hello beautiful.” he comments.  “Where have you been all my life?” 

            It was the first time in a while to see her dress up with nice clothes, wearing makeup, and looking so girly.  He likes her like that, not that he does already like her they way she already is on a daily basis.  To his surprise, she accepted the date with the PD when he called her last night.  She was upset about it, nonetheless.  Even though she was mad about what he had done, he’s glad that she’s willing to try to move on for once and for all.  Chen quickly sneaks a glance at Lu Han, who is expressionless.  His smile only broadens as he turns to look back at Sooyun.

            “Just think of our date as a practice date for your real date.” he says.

            “I don’t know about that.” says Sooyun.  Her tone is hinting that she already doubts their time together.

            “Why are you saying it like that?!” asks Chen, offended.  “You should be happy that you get to go out on a date with me!  Do you know how many girls would kill to be in your spot?!”

            Sooyun rolls her eyes.  “OK, Mister Idol!  I get it.” she replies.  “You’re famous and your fangirls would rip me into shreds if they found out about this.”

            Chen laughs.  “I know, right?!  Isn’t that just amazing?” he asks, quite excited.

            “You obviously want me to die, Jongdae.” comments Sooyun.

            “Why should you worry?” he questions.  “I have a disguise!” 

            Since Chen haven’t been able to tour much of Beijing due to fangirls everywhere, he asked Sooyun to give him a disguise.  Instead of the usual sunglasses, beanie, and face mask, she used her artistic makeup skills and made him looked like he was 10 years older and different.  He can’t put his finger on it, but he looks the same and not at the same time.  Regardless, the other guys couldn’t really tell that he is EXO’s Chen.

            “Just stop bickering and leave.” says Kris.  “You guys are annoying me.”

            Chen automatically knows that Sooyun is going to glare at Kris so he quickly distracts her.  He almost places a kiss on her cheeks when she shoves her hand into his face.  “Yah!” says Sooyun, pushing him away.  “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

            Chen moans in pain as he holds onto his face and the others laugh.  “You’re so mean Sooyun!” he says.  “At least let me hold your hand or something!”

            “He’s right!” comments Xiumin.  “Aren’t you guys supposed to be on a date?”

            Sooyun lets out a sigh.  “OK.” she gives in.

            Chen takes her hand in his as he tucks a stray piece of hair behind her ear.  Then, he leans in closer to her.  The soft smell of her fragrance fills his nostrils and he smiles.  “Let’s have a wonderful day together, Sung Sooyun.” he whispers into her ear.

            He pulls away to see her smiling.  “Sure.” she says.  Chen smiles in return and couldn’t help it but secretly glancing over at Lu Han.  The guy seems to be quite calm about the whole ordeal, which is nothing surprising at all.

            It’ll only be a matter of time before he cracks, thought Chen.

            Lay glances over at Lu Han.  The baby faced boy is quiet as he stares at the TV, which is unusual.  Chen was trolling around with everyone.  Throughout the whole day, he didn’t text them about updates on the date as they were expecting him too.  Then, suddenly, he sent out a mass text with a photo of Sooyun at a Japanese restaurant.  She didn’t look directly into the camera seemed to be distracted, as she at something off camera. 

            The side of her cheek was ballooned up with what seemed like food since she was holding up a half bittened fried tempura shrimp.  She was wearing an unexplainable expression that was priceless, but it was cute at the same time making Lay smile.   ‘Cuteness at its finest’ was what he wrote.  As the guys commented on the photo at the dinner table, Lu Han didn’t say anything at all.  When Xiumin asked him how he felt, he smiled softly and said, ‘It seems like they’re having a good time.’

            “They should be home by now.” mumbles Lu Han.

            “What?” asks Lay, being pull out of his thoughts.

            “They should be home by now.” repeats Lu Han, a little louder.

            For a moment, Lay just stared into space.  Why in the world is getting angry-, he thought.  Oh, yeah!  Jongdae and Sooyun!  Before Lay could say anything, the door opened and the two walked in with a ton of shopping bags.

            Lu Han automatically stands up and Lay follows behind him.  “So, how was your date?” asks Xiumin, popping out of nowhere.

            Chen just laughs and Sooyun smiles at him as she slips off of her heels.  Her face seems to be flushing, as her hand comes up to get the hair out of her face.  “Why don’t we talk later?” she asks.  “I need to put these things away.”

            “With only me?” suggests Xiumin, as he raises his eyebrow at her.

            She laughs out loud.  “Oppa!” she says, with a disapproving voice.

            “What?” asks Xiumin, with a laugh.  Then, he pouts.  “You don’t want to spend some quality time with me?”

            “I never said that!” says Sooyun, as she starts heading to her room.  Aegyo obviously doesn’t work on her.

            With her brief departure, Chen is the only one there.  Tao and Kris quickly come to the scene just in time to smirk at him.   “Did you get to kiss her on the lips?” asks Tao, boldly.

            Chen doesn’t say anything and just continues to smile.  “Well, she’s smiling…  So, that means that he didn’t screw up for sure.” shrugs Kris, making Xiumin and Lay laugh.

            “What the hell?!” asks Chen, in a whisper.  His voice hints of him being slightly angry.  “Did you guys really think that I would screw up my only chance to be with her romantically?”

            “You like her?” asks Lu Han, rather, seriously. 

            Chen smiles.  “Of course.” he replies.  “Sooyun is a good girl with a pretty eyesmile and face.  She has an entertaining personality too and is down to earth.  Who wouldn’t like her?”

            Lu Han smiles, in return, surprising Lay.  “Good to know that picked the right girl for you, Jongdae.” he says.

            Chen laughs, as he nods.  “I know, right?” he asks.

            “What?!  Ever since when did you liked her?” asks Xiumin, distracting the all their attention. 

            “I don’t know.” shrugs Chen.  “I think ever since….  She smacked the hell out of Lu Han’s ex girlfriend?”

            “What?” asks Kris, dissatisfied.

            “Oh!!  I know!!” chimes in Tao, excited.  Then, he hushed himself down.  “That was so freaking crazy, but awesome at the same time!  I didn’t know Jiejie had so much strength in her hands.”

            Lay gulps at what they were saying.  Lu Han still haven’t said much about what had happened, so for them to be talking about it like that wasn’t very polite.  Lay turns to glance at Lu Han when he realizes that he is gone. 

            The deer is down the hall in Sooyun’s room.  They were chatting, as if they haven’t stopped talking to each other for a while.  She is laughing about something that Lu Han said and he is smiling as she jokingly punches him in the chest.  He continues to smile as he suddenly reaches over to her and pulls up her v-neck dress.  She slaps his hand away as she covers her chest.  He quickly opens her closet, pulls out a cardigan, and puts it on her.

            Lay just stares at them with big saucer eyes as Lu Han helps her button up her cardigan all the way up and with his eyes obviously staring at her assets.  She seems to notice and punches him again after he is done.  Sooyun says a comment that makes Lu Han’s jaw drop.  He shakes his head in disbelief with a small smile and a completely red face.  She laughs and walks back out and into the living room.

            “So, Jongdae’s in love with you.” says Xiumin, as she approaches the whole group with Lu Han wagging his tail behind her.

            Sooyun makes a face at Chen and laughs happily.  “I love you too, Kim Jongdae!” she says.

            He laughs, happily.  “Why are you wearing a cardigan?” he asks.

            “I was showing too much cleavage, according to Lu Han.” explains Sooyun, as she peeks down her cardigan at the view.

            “Really?” asks Chen, as he looks down it too.  Before she can push his face away, Xiumin and Kris already pulls him away.  “Yah!  There wasn’t even a lot of cleavage!”

            “I didn’t even notice anything inappropriate, Lu Han.” laughs Lay.

            “There was a lot of cleavage!” defends Lu Han.

            “Stop being so overprotective.” waves off Tao.  “Jiejie has a beautiful body…”  Then, he raises his eyebrow at his gege.  “Unless if you liked what you were seeing and didn’t want anyone else to see it too.”

            Lu Han’s face turns bright red, giving himself away.  “Lu Han’s always been a -man, what do you mean?” asks Xiumin, making the whole situation worst as they all became rowdy. 

            “I will protect you from him, Sooyun, my love!” says Chen, as he tries to cover her with his body.

            She rolls her eyes.  “Stop acting weird!” she says, as she pushes him aside.  “I’m tired.  I’m going to go to sleep.”

            “But, you didn’t even tell us about your date!” counters Xiumin.

            Sooyun rolls her eyes.  “It wasn’t even really a date.  We were literally touring and shopping, like friends!” she says.  “Whatever Jongdae says about love and other crap is his trolling.  He wouldn’t even let me hold his hand after we left!!”

            “What?” asks Kris, irritated.  He turns to Chen and the younger one shrinks.

            “K-Kris…  Take a hold of yourself.” he says, as he steps back.  “Just think about it!  Would I really start liking Sooyun like that?!  NO!  She’s hot and all, but-”

            “You trolled us.” nods the leader.

            “But, Lu Han stared at her s!” points out Chen, making Lay snicker.

            The baby faced man glares at his friend, making him quiet.  “Who cares?  He looks like a cute little kid, but he’s nonetheless a man.” defends Kris.

            Lu Han laughs as he turns to leave after Sooyun closes her door.  Lay rolls his eyes as Kris, Xiumin, and Tao is about to jump on Chen out of frustration.  He quickly follows Lu Han into their room and closes the door behind him.

            “So…  You and Sooyun seem to be pretty close again.” comments Lay.

            “H-Huh?” asks Lu Han, surprised.  Then, it seems to hit him.  “O-Oh!  I guess…”  He chuckles to himself softly.  “I didn’t even realize that she was wearing that dress when she left.”

            “What do you mean?” asks Lay, confused.  “Have you seen her worn that before?”

            “No…  It’s just that I didn’t even realize how much cleavage she was showing until I went to talk to her.” replies Lu Han, with a slightly irritated face.

            Lay laughs.  “So, you don’t like it when Jongdae is staring at it or other men?” he asks.  Lu Han’s face becomes red and he laughs again.

            “Shut up, Yixing!” he says, as he throws his Chopper plushie at him.

            Lay didn’t care.  He just continues to laugh instead even when the plushie hits his face.  It’ll only be a matter of time before you admit that you still like her, he thought with a smile.
