I took out the financial report from my bag.

I read through them and look through the receipts and all.

Someone is totally the money out of this company.

“It's not possible...” I muttered.

“Vic, get me this year’s land prices in Bundang please”

“Ne depyonim”

She came in, moments later with the reports.

I immediately scoff when I see the land price.

I counted the difference.

“20%” I muttered.

“I wonder how many people they are sharing it with”

“Who was in charge of this project?”

“Mr Kwon was in charge depyonim.”

“Get me his information please. From background to the people he meets, both secretly and officially.”

“Ne depyonim”

I clicked my tongue while I highlight some other important parts.

The phone rings.

“Yes Vic?”

“Mr Shim is here”

“Let him in”

He knocked on the door and popped his head in.

“Anyeong~~” He greeted.

“Oppa~ Come in” I grin.

“Busy?” He asked while walking towards my table.

“Not really.”

“Sit first oppa, I’ll just finish this off first” I grin.

CHANGMIN’S POV

“So, this is the side of the dragon lady huh?”

“Nah, this is just a normal employee working.”

“Done~!” She grins in pure happiness.

She walks towards the sofa.

“You’re free?”

“Nope, but it’s lunch already”

“It is?” I asked, surprised.

“Yup” He grins.

“I came here to give you this”

“What’s that?”

“Birthday party invitation”

“I’m invited?” She asked.

Duh, how can you not be invited?

I nodded.

“I’m  feeling flattered right now” She smiled happily.

“Of course you are. You think I’m that mean to give you a two in one invitation letter?”

She nodded.

I frowned and pinched her cheeks.

“Aaa” She muttered.

“Of course not. How can I not invite my monster eating buddy?”

She smiles cheekily.

That wonderful smile.

Minnie is surely in cloud nine.

“Who knows”

“Thanks for inviting me oppa”

“You’ll come right?”

“Hwang In Hee will always be there as long as food exists” She smiled proudly.

“I’ll be sure to prepare more foods this time. Give these to your friends as well” I said.

“Wua~ I will” She grins.

Then her stomach grumbled.

“Yup, it’s lunch” She muttered.

I chuckled.

“Your alarm is a bit late today”

She nodded cutely.

“Let’s go to lunch”

“Arrasso. I’ll just grab my bag”

We went out of her office and went to a nearby café.

“I think we were born to be food buddies” She laughed.

I think we were born for each other.

I nodded and chuckled along.

The elevator ‘dinged’ and we walked out.

“Let’s go to the café in front. It really have good foods” I said.

She nodded happily.

“Uwaaa I love these kind of places” She beamed.

“You’ve never been here?” I asked, surprised.

She nodded.

“But it is just in front of your office”

“I know right. I didn’t think this kind of place exist here”

We ordered some simple sandwiches, pastries and cakes.

“You’re not going for a diet?” I asked.

She shook her head.

“Eat and then exercise”

I laughed.

“Same rules here”

She chummed happily.

She took several pictures of the café and of us.

Oh, I’m feeling very flattered.

I feel like we’re some campus couple or something.

We edited the pictures with several cute emoticons and writings.

“This one is cute” She muttered excitedly.

“This one is also cute”

“This too”

“Kyaaa this kitty is so cute right oppa?” She said happily.

I chuckled.

“Eo…They’re all cute” I said.

“Dead” She said.

“Everything is so cuttteeee I’m dying” She said with her head pulled back, leaning on the sofa.

“Aaahh~~” I coed.

“Aaahh~” She opened .

I put the cake into and she munched them happily.

“I love this cake”

I love you more.

“Everything is just too good in here” She muttered happily.

Great foods, great ambience and most of all, I’m able to spend some wonderful time with my one and only angel.

I grin.

This should just go on forever.

NARRATOR’S POV

The CEO is back.

The once bubbly and cheerful Hwang In Hee is gone. Her smile hidden, her eyes sharp her head held high with her shoulders straighten.

She enters the meeting room confidently. She bowed shortly.

She sat in her seat in front of the empty seat and placed her ipad on the table. She entered her password and she’s immediately connected with today’s presentation.

She looks around the room to find one empty seat left.

“Who else is not here yet?”

“The CEO of the Kim Conglomerate depyonim.”

She nodded.

She read through today’s presentation and marked some points.

After a few more minutes of waiting, her husband finally appears with a new look. New haircut, new hair colour.

“Sorry I’m late.” He apologized quickly and went to his seat, exhaling a deep breath as he sat and prepare his own gadget.

“Let’s start” She commanded.

“Ne depyonim”

The presentation was long, consisting of different survey results, trend forecast, financing and marketing plans.

When the lights are finally , that’s when the real meeting starts.

Disagreement is the key point.

Everyone simply disagree on every single little thing.

All of them were frustrated.

In the end, the meeting ended with only one thing confirmed. The theme.

They’re going to stick to the modern winter wonderland theme. It’s a cliché theme with a non-cliché twist. It’s the only thing that all of them agreed on. It fits the survey results, trend forecast, and the bill as well.

All of the directors are out, all that’s left inside the meeting room is a very tired looking couple.

“That…was a debate…” She managed to mutter with her head down, leaning on the cold wooden table.

“Mhmm” He let out.

“I’m sleepy...” He muttered.

“Me too. Caffeine don’t really works anymore” She said with a yawn.

“Yeah…” He yawned as well.

“I’m so not in the mood to go to that house” He said lazily.

“Let’s go, your dad must be waiting”

“Harabeoji is the one who wants to have this dinner”

“Fine, harabeoji must be waiting. Now let’s go” She said.

“Five minutes~~” He whined.

“Let me sleep for five minutes~~”

“Let’s go pretty boy”

“Pull me up” He said extending both of his arms.

She sighed, annoyed, but chuckled at his childishness moments later.

“I won’t be that heavy, I’m only bones and skins and muscles” He said batting his eyelashes.

She laughed and went to his side.

She extended her arm to pull him up, but instead, she got pulled down.

She froze.

He froze.

Time stopped.
