The crowds are beginning to talk to themselves while the emcees gave me a look.

The emcee looked at me in shocked.

“I used to hate him. He was a playboy and everybody knows that. He was even entangled in many different scandals even while he’s dating my sister. My sister was hurt and I hated him for that, she made even more scandals just for the sake of pissing him off. But he changed this year, he’s more serious and I can see that he truly loves my sister. I believe that he would be faithful even when their relationship ever hit rock bottoms and I hope that he would love her even more than he loves my sister now, and I hope that he would fill in all of her empty spaces and protects her for the rest of his life” I said.

That was part true.

They clapped.

The emcee relaxed themselves quiet a bit now.

I smirked.

I just hope the bastard gets my point.

I was trying really hard to subtly stress on some points.

The crowd cheered.

“Eh? Normal? She sleeps a lot though.” He answered.

She let out a small shy giggle.

I rolled my eyes.

This feels like a scene cut from the soap opera.

“Are you doing your confession here?” The emcee asked.

He laughed.

“Well…yes. I didn’t do it properly in my wedding day, you guys have all saw it right? That’s why I’m using this opportunity to confess to her, in front all of you, again.” He grins.

The crowd let out a laugh and instantly, some ‘aaawwss’ are heard.

The emcee did the closing line and the show’s finally done.

I walked towards her and hugged her.

“I didn’t know you guys would come” She said.

“Surprise baby girl~~~” Lay hyung said.

“She’s my sister, not your daughter” I said, giving him a look.

“You guys weren’t in the script”

“The Chairman made it that way” Kris shrugged.

“Chang Min oopa’s dad?”

“He is the chairman noona.” Kris said.

“Really?! That’s so fast…” She commented.

“He is a genius”

“How do you know so many things about him?” She asked.

“Kris….you’re normal right…?” She asked.

“I am fine, thank you. I like girls noona. He’s in the entertainment world while I am in the IT world, that figures things out by itself noona. His dad and my dad are like my dad and your dad…before…” He said.

Why did he have to bring dad up?

The casts and staffs bowed to us and we immediately bows back.

“Can I go to a dinner with my friends?” I asked.

“Sure” He said with a nod.

"Thanks"  I grinned.

"I'll be waiting at home"

"Arrasso" I smiled.

We hugged for a brief moment to let the world knows how happy of a couple we truly are.

We went into this snack bar somewhere around the streets.

People are looking at us oddly.

Some are even throwing curses at us.

But who cares?

TAO'S POV

We sat down on the stools and ate some odengs and we ordered some ramyun and soju as well.

Yup, we’re here.

The seven of us.

Joo Won hyung should be here also.

Eish that guy.

We’re one crazy group of chaebols aren’t we?

We’re not like those usual elegant and high classed chaebols.

We used to live our life just the way any student in our age would.

We used to run away from home just to let the bodyguards chase us around and look for us all over the place.

Then there are times when we would actually go out and disguise ourselves just the way a normal high school students would.

Then we would use the subway and bicycles to go around the city.

We’ll eat somewhere on the countryside or somewhere inside the subway or just street foods.

The foods that our chefs made are just way too classy and high classed. It was boring.

And there are actually times when our grandpa and their dads meet up together to discuss our never ending problems and they finally reached a conclusion of kicking us out from the house.

They bought each of us a small run down building.

Halbae bought us a run down house. I lived downstairs, underground, while Joo Won hyung lived above me. He got the largest space while noona chose to live in the rooftop.

Then the guys are all my neighbors.

Halbae threw the idea of putting us into three separate dorms because of noona’s little middle school escapade.

They didn’t give us any monthly allowance.

The only thing he paid was our excessively expensive school fees.

So we obviously have to work our out in order to eat.

The eight of us ate ramyun in a pot most of the times, but we only used half of the seasonings or sometimes, when we’re out of money, we would simply ate rice, mix it with hot water and a little of ramyun seasonings.

Life was hard.

That was our porridge.

We didn’t even have the money to use the stove.

We would usually eat dinner together in noona’s place since she’s the only one to have some outdoor space and some place to sit outdoor.

We did all sorts of part time jobs that’s legal.

From washing the dishes into cashier and waiters then baby sitting, models and even the people who gives out flyers, we’ve tried it all.

It was hard. But it was fun.

The school kids made fun of us, but guess what? We owned them.

Physically, we’re stronger.

Academically? We all ranked in one of the first eight spots.

And talking about backgrounds? We’re definitely richer.

Life? We’re living our life to the fullest.

“I feel nostalgic” I blurts out.

“That was the best time of my life” Chen hyung blurts out as well.

The rest of them nodded.

“A memory with only the eight of us” Lay grinned.

“And a memory when Lay is still the pure sweet guy. I even thought that this guy over here would become my brother in law" I nodded.

Lay and my sister laughed.

They used to date before.

"Well, her husband is somewhat similar to the present Lay" Kris hyung said.

“How did my first boyfriend turn out to be this playboy?” My sister looked at him in horror.

He shrugged.

“Don’t know~”

“Lay was such a good guy back then” She nodded.

“I still am” He grinned.

She shook her head.

“Before…you would carry me home, and you would give me your blanket during the winters until you got sick yourself. Then I would have to cuddle with you in order to give you some more warmth and we would have to stick together the whole night. I still have that ring that you gave me you know. The one you bought with your one year’s part time money. That was really cute”

“Ah noona~~~throw it away. That ring was really cheap~!!! Why do still keep it???” Lay hyung asked, feeling embarrassed.

“Because that was sincere. The value inside it can’t even be bought with all the money I have now” She said.

“Tooo….ccchheeesssyy…caann’t handlleee” Xiu Min hyung said while he was choking himself.

“But that was true though. We were so cute before” Lay hyung said.

“We went out for like how long? Three years? Four years?”

“Somewhere between those lines”

“You would make me some kimbaps that I love even though you don’t have the money to buy the rice and all” Lay hyung said.

YOUR POV

I laughed.

“Oh right!!! Those kimbaps!!! How did I missed them?! I asked the rice from my friend, then she would pack me a whole box and I would make lots of kimbaps with it just to make sure you could eat properly”

“And the guy won’t even share a piece of it with us” Kris said.

“You would make like a box of it right? He would be full by eating half of it already, but he would never give us. He would just close the box, put it in his bag, zipped it and hug the bag like it’s his wife or something, and he would just eat it for the next day. He loved you THAT much” Kris said while giving him a look.

“It was precious!!! Both the food and the person who made it” He tried to defend himself.

Aahh…my first love was so…melodramatic.

We were the type of couple where we could do everything else except for spending money.

But it was warm though.

“Yaa…lets stop with this couple’s talk. It’s getting me all emotional and nostalgic~~!!” Lay said

“Then came the break up. KKkyyyaaaa that one last kiss...do you guys remember? When noona was the only one who’s going to the US for college and the rest of us were still too young. They broke up calmly right? Noona was the one who motioned the break up and they have that one last long and deep kiss where both of them cried within the kiss itself but were too reluctant to let go. Then the both of you would have to cry yourself to sleep. Lay would come home all drunk and sad and she would just sit in a corner and cried.” Lu Han said.

Some even shivered.

“How did you know our exact break up scene?” Lay asked.

“I never told you in this detail though. Especially the kiss part!!”

Lu Han act all innocent while whistling.

“Lulu~~~” I called.

He grinned.

“Fine, the six of us stalked on you guys. We got the feeling that the both of you would break up around those days where the both of you would have to just cry yourself to sleep. So we followed the both of you every single day and watch you two closely. You guys went to the amusement park with the money from God knows where. Then the next day, the two of you went to the Namsan tower to forcefully open the lock since you guys threw the key away, thinking that you two would last forever. And then, one day, out of the blue, you guys went to a faraway park to break up." He said.

“But how are the two of you so cool when you guys met up in the US?”

“Because…it was a promise. To be cool and smile if we ever meet again which we probably would” I said.

“And the guy was already a playboy by that time anyway” I continued.

“True….”

“Ahhh…..I want to go back to our high school days….” Chen said.

“Me too” I said.

“But you two didn’t did it right…?” Tao asked.

I hit his head with a spoon.

“We weren’t in that kind of relationship alright? We would cuddle but it would stop there.” I said.

Lay nodded.

“I was wayyyy too innocent back then” He said with a regretful face.

I gave him a look.

He grins.

“Thank God you weren’t a monster when you were with me”

“Your husband is worst than me though”

“Nah, he’s not that bad”

“But I was still better right?”

“You were my first love Lay. There’s a different story behind it”

“True” He nodded.

“Let’s just drink this one glass and let the talk end there. The two of you might get into a scandal by tomorrow if the talk goes on. Drink this and end this. We’ll all go to our own respective residences after this one glass. CHEERS!!” Kris said.

We drank and we went.

The talk literally stopped with that drink.

We went home. I asked the driver to pick up in front of the nearest subway station from my house.

I walked down the subway and it reminded me so much of our past. Most of them were my past with him though.

Those were my only normal high school times.

No bodyguard.

An unmaterialistic life.

And the best part was, everything was real.

The love was real.

I smiled, but I felt wet things falling down my cheeks.

I sighed.

Everything is because of that panda.

I quickly wipe it away and smiled.

They were good memories Hee. You’re not supposed to cry over good memories.

I sat down in the empty train and got out of the subway.

To my surprise, the jerk was the one who picked me up.

“Why are you here?” I asked.

“To pick you up. I was bored, so I went here”

I smiled.

“Thanks” I grinned.

“Get in” He said.

“Ya, this is not the way to our house” I said.

“Never said we’re going back there.”

“Then, where are we going?” I asked.
