NARRATOR’S POV

As soon as the wedding ends, he immediately let go of her hands. His smile fell, and his expressions darken. He’s tired. No, to be exact all the fake laughing, loving gestures and smiles, drains his energy.

The elders and her were startled by his sudden change of behavior. But they decide to turn a blind eye and let it slide. Everyone is too tired to start an argument.

Two other young men also saw this scene, and boy aren’t they pleased.

Both of them threw the tired groom their best glares, they clenched their fists, knuckles know turning all white and pale.

One of them stood up from his seat and walked towards the exit angrily.

The groom saw him. He smirked. Feeling somewhat contented by the younger’s reactions.

JAEJOONG’S POV

He went out. I smirked in victory.

So much for an unrequited love, I thought.

How sad.

A man should always be thirsty of power, not love, as it always changes as the season changes. I thought to myself.

I closed my eyes briefly and held the bridge of my nose.

When I open my eyes, a saw a figure climbing up the stairs in full speed.

I squinted my eyes, trying to make out who the figure is.

Half of his face is covered…by…a traditional Korean bridal mask?!

This guy watched way TOO much drama. I chuckled to myself and shook my head lightly.

I don’t even have to look at his face to know who he is. He’s the jerk that went out a while ago. I thought he’d left to cry and drink all of his sorrows out, but who knows that he’ll be costume changing?

So…what’s he going to do?

I raised one of my brows in amusement.

I’m actually anticipating at what he’s going to do next.

He climbed up the stairs and grab…In Hee’s hands.

IN HEE’S?! I scoffed.

He grabs one of her hands, and drag her out of the reception.

I looked at her face.

Shock is written all over it.

I fixed my eyes on them and clenched my jaw.

He dragged her down the stairs, and when she tried to push his hands away, he stopped and let go of her hand.

He whispered something to her and dragged her again. She didn’t even resist him anymore.

They exit the reception and went inside the building.

Is this part of their plans?! To runaway and embarrass me in front of my close family and friends?!

I know this is an arranged marriage, but she just crossed the line.

This..this…humiliation, how am I suppose to handle it?!

I looked at her family.

Her grandfather looked quiet angry, while her brother…smirks?!

I looked at their friends, and one of them is even giving me a toast.

I scoffed.

Her friends are laughing silently.

Is this even funny?!

“Go and catch them. Be a man for once” Harabeoji nudged me.

I took a big big breath and went out of the reception as well.

I looked for them.

Where are they?!

I ran to the left hall and heard some noises.

Found them…panting on one of the corner. He’s no longer wearing a mask.

I went closer to find them…laughing…hysterically?!

A bitter smirk is formed on my face.

“Why did you even wear the mask?” She said as she laughed.

“Oh! You laughed tonight!” He grinned.

“I laughed A LOT tonight Joo Wonie” She pated his head.

Those two, are more than an assistant and boss relationship.

I inched closer to get a better view.

“None of them are real, until..just now” He shrugged and smiled while his hands are in his pockets.

“Who said” She chuckled and tried to look surprised.

“Aigoo~” He patted her head.

“Mrs Hwang, I think I know you better than you know yourself”

She rolled her eyes “Who said”

“Oh please honey, for your dear information, I can read you like a book.” He gave her a tight smile.

Oh..so now she’s his honey?

Wow.

“Hmph!” She folded her arms and pouted at him.

Quiet adorable. I did not just think that. I face palmed myself.

“And anyway you looked so sad and lonely up there.” He pouted.

Eww, how cheesy.

“Aniya, I was okay up there” She gave him a weak smile.

“Did not buy that” He frowned and folded his arms

“Noona~~~” He whined like a kid.

I scoffed. So now he’s even showing his aegyo off?

“Ah wae?”

“Give me a hug, I’m so sad tonight~ You’re his now”

“Noona is NOT a thing Wonie” She pouted and hugged him.

What is this? A scene where the husband finds out about his wife’s affair?

I huffed my cheeks and think whether I should drag her with me or not.

If I leave her here, I would be too kind to her, and I will hurt my pride.

But then, we did promise to not care about each other’s personal life and affair.

If I drag her with me, she’ll definitely find it odd.

I looked at them once more, and finally decide to just drag her with me. It’s a matter of pride.

I stomp my way to where the two lovebirds are, she gave me that surprise look again and looked at him. He glared at me.

Oh..how scary. I thought and flashed him my best tight smirk.

I drag her with me.

“YA!! Let go!!! It hurts!!!” She yelled.

“Shut up, people might hear us” I hissed.

“Then let go of me!!!!” She shrieked.

“Say one more word and I’ll kiss you”

She opened but no words came through. I chuckled.

“She said to let go of her hand” I heard a voice yelled behind me.

I turn around and smirked.

“I’m her husband and I have the rights to do this”

“You’re not supposed to hurt your wife” He snapped

“I. Did. Not. Hurt. Her.” I hissed.

He shuts up. I smirked in victory.

“Let’s go…HONEY” I said, stressing on the last word and s an arm around her waist.

I called harabeoji saying that we’ll go back to the villa first. He gave out a hearty/evil laugh.

I pushed her into the car and made our way back to the villa.

She’s quite throughout the way back. So she didn’t even have to say sorry to me? Wow. She’s…brave.

We arrived to our villa

She went inside and into the bathroom, changing her clothes.

She came back out after a while with a much more comfortable clothing.

She passed me and head straight for the kitchen.

My jaw..literally dropped. I scoffed and changed my clothes in the bathroom too.

YOUR POV

I took my ice cream and went on my deep thinking mode.

What happened with him…?

Why does he look so furious every time Joo Won is with me?

I even told him about him being my brother.

What is wrong with that guy?!

The bathroom doors open and he’s out with a t shirt and khaki shorts.

Is it my fault again?

It looks like it is though.
“I’m..I’m sorry” I whispered.

“You don’t even know where did you go wrong right?” He asked

I nodded slowly while I gave him a meek smile while playing with my legs.

“I’m sorry, and could you please tell me what did I do to pissed you off this much?” I asked.

He was like this yesterday too. And it was an ambiguous case too.

“Do you even know what ticked me off yesterday?” He asked, annoyance in his voice.

I gave him a weak grin.

He sighed.

“Well, I’ll show you what you did then.”

“And what is that suppose to mean..?” I asked, a bit confused, no utterly confused by his ambiguity.

“You’ll see and you’ll feel.”

“Eh?”

“Watch me” He said as he laid down on the bed, sleeping.

I sat there, thinking on the words that he had said.

Watch me, feel it, revenge…

“Ah…so that were the last pieces to his riddle.” I whispered to myself as I shoveled the ice cream into my mouth.

I close the lid and place it back to the freezer.

I walked to the other side of the bed, and lay there.

Thinking.

Revenge..what could it be..?
