Ryeowook's POV

I stared down at Kyuhyun who sulked in the hospital bed, total disbelief written on my face.  Henry was seated in a chair at his brother's bedside laughing hysterically.  I ignored my dongsaeng and focused on Kyuhyun.

"Okay, let me get this straight... you're allergic to Seohyun!?"

Kyuhyun huffed and rolled his eyes, obviously irritated.  Henry laughed even louder now, clutching his stomach tightly.

"Technically, I'm only allergic to her perfume... " Kyuhyun explained impatiently, "I was going through anaphalactic shock"

I raised my eyebrow and asked,

"But how come it's never bothered you before?  Did she just change her perfume or something?"

He shook his head and sighed,

"The doctor said my reaction was so violent because my body was already weak... he says I've been too stressed and haven't been getting enough sleep"

I snorted and rolled my eyes,

"Well what do you expect?  I told you not to stay up so late playing your stupid games"

He rolled his eyed and muttered sarcastically,

"Sorry mom"

I glared mildly, but Henry took this chance to point out,

"Well in theory, you were probably affected by Seohyun's attitide as well"  He made a disgusted face and added,

"Hell, if I had to spend as much time with her as you, I'd probably already be dead"

I giggled, and Kyuhyun cracked a small smile.  Kyuhyun stretched, looking more relaxed than I had seen him look in a while.  Suddenly, a cold shiver ran down my spine as I realized something,

"!  I can't be here!  What if Seohyun sees me!?"

Kyuhyun rolled his eyes again,

"I'm allergic to her, she can't be with me.  No offese Wook, but duh"

I blushed, he was right of course, but I also smiled.  It had seemed like forever since he had called me by mt nick name.  I grinned happily and hurried to his bedside.  I threw my arms around him and squeezed him tightly.  I felt him stiffen and he asked, sounding shocked,

"What are you doing?"

I tightened my hold on him and chirped happily,

"Well since she's not here, I can hug you!"

He didn't say anything at first, but I felt him relax slightly in my arms. 

"Won't your boyfriend be jealous?" he said it jokingly, but I swore I could detect a hint of jealousy in his tone. 

Henry laughed and took this moment to break in,

"Chill bro, the whole boyfriend thing was just to get Seohyun off Wookie's .  If you think about it, it pretty much answers everything.  It explains why I'm always with Wook and as long as she thinks he's attached, she'll leave him alone"

I nodded, agreeing with him, it really did make sense if you thought about it.  I pulled back from Kyuhyun and looked at Henry.  A wide smile stretched across his face and I asked,

"What are you planning in that mochi head of yours?"

His grin grew even brighter, and his eyes flashed mischeviously,

"We should probably milk this whole allergy thing to it's full potential, don't you think?  Let's go on a vacation!"

I looked at him, not understanding how Kyuhyun's illness had any relation to a vacation.  Henry must have seen the question in my eyes because he quickly elaborated on his idea,

"We'll just call it a healing retreat, we can just tell the that Kyuhyun needs to get away to strengthen his immune system.  Of course, me being the wonderful, caring brother that I am, I would obviously go to keep him company"  He grinned at me,

"And you, being my love bunny, wouldn't be able to stand the thought of being away from me, so naturally, you'd have to come along as well"

I shot him a mock-offended look at being referred to as his 'love bunny', and asked,

"Where would we go?"

His forehead furrowed as he thought.  Finally he jumped off the bed and spun around giddily,

"HAWAII!!!!" he announced, his eyes dancing.

"Um, Henli?  I hate to break it to you, but Hawaii isn't exactly the first place that comes to mind when you think of a health retreat..."

His eyes glinted mischeviously,

"We obviously wouldn't tell Seohyun where we were really going.  We would just say we were going to... to the hot springs in Japan!"

I looked up at Kyuhyun as he let out a muffled snort, obviously trying to conceal his laughter.  I looked at him curiously and he explained,

"Seohyun hates the springs.  It grosses her out that she has to share the water, and the minerals in the water make her makeup melt and her hair extensions fall out"

Henry cackled boisterously and Kyuhyun laughed with him, giving me the impression that both had seen the effect the minerals had on Seohyun live. 

Once he had calmed down, Kyuhyun bit his lip, obviously weighing the pros and the cons of such a trip.  Henry shot me a look, and I grinned back, knowing exactly what he wanted me to do.  I slid closer to Kyuhyun, making my eyes wide and pleading.  He looked at me and I pursed my lips into a pout,

"I've always wanted to go to Hawaii..." I said in a sad voice.

Kyuhyun's shoulders slumped in defeat and he sighed,

"Okay, okay.  I'm in"

I cheered and Henry gave me a high five.  Kyuhyun rolled his eyes, but the small smile on his face told me that he was happy too.  I bounced up and down on the bed excitedly, and whipped out my new phone (courtesy of Henry).  I jumped off the bed and skipped to the door.

I heard the brothers laugh as I squealed into my phone,

"Mommy!  Guess where I'm going!"

Kyuhyun's POV

I chuckled as I heard Ryeowook squeal and tell his mother about our vacation.  I turned to look at Henry, but his smile was replaced by a serious look.

"What?" I asked and his eyes narrowed,

"You haven't talked to Wookie about the past?"

He phrased it as a question but it was clear that he meant it to be an accusation.  I averted my eyes and replied coldly,

"I've given him up.  There's no need to talk about things that don't matter anymore"

Henry snorted and he hissed,

"Don't give me that bull crap!  You and I both know that's not true, and even if you have deluded yourself into thinking you can get over him, you still owe him an explanation!"

I didn't say anything, and continued to study my hands.  I really didn't want to be having this conversation.

"It's not fair to him, he's already scared, and now you're confusing him"

I sighed and ran my hands through my hair agitatedly.  Finally I asked quietly,

"What is there to talk about?"

Henry looked at me like I was crazy,

"The promise would be a good start!" he retorted snarkily.

My eyes narrowed at his tone. 

"Well tell me, how the hell do you expect me to explain that he promised to marry me!?  We were just kids, I know when I made him promise to be mine I was serious, but was he?"

Henry looked at me uncomfortably, and I knew he didn't really know how to answer my question.  I knew it wasn't his fault, but I continued to demand,

"How would he even react?  He would just think it was a joke, and laugh it off.  How the am I supposed to handle that!?  I c-can't do that..."

My brother's eyes had now softened and he looked at me sadly.  He patted my leg and answered,

"Look, I know it's scary and everything is all ed up right now, but you still need to talk to him"

I glared at the ceiling, but didn't protest.  I knew he was right, i just didn't know what I was going to do.  Henry nudged me, and I looked at him warily.  He bit his lip, obviously not sure whether or not he should talk or not.

"Just spit it out" I commanded tiredly.

Henry nodded, but refused to meet my eyes. I knew he was going to bring up a touchy subject.

"I think you need to tell him about the marriage contract..."

Lalala, still don't know what the hell I'm doing with this story.... *stabs self*
