Na Na's POV

My alarm then started ringing. Was it already morning? I looked in front of me and saw the books laid out everywhere. I must have fell asleep when I was doing the project. At least I finished.

Even though I was tired, I have to go to school. I'm used to all-nighters, as I did manage to grab this scholarship out of the bunch of people who applied.Before leaving I took some of her makeup and applied them in order to hide the dark circles and puffiness. Looking at the mirror, its hard to tell I cried and didn’t sleep. I think…I took a piece of bread and left for school.

I feel like a life less wreck that I never thought I'd be. After all this time, how can he not know how he feels. I angrily kicked the ground in frustration but just ended up falling to the ground. Last week was so perfect, and now I'm in front of the school on the verge of breaking down in tears. How can so much change in just a day?

Jonghyun's POV

"Wipe that weird grin off your face!" Onew told me before shoving me.

"Yah!" I almost fell!

"Why are you smiling like that?"

"I came up with a plan!" I said chuckling to myself.

"What plan?" Minho asked.

"I am going to ignore Na Na this week."

"That's not a plan." Minho corrected looking at me like I was an idiot. I would have been offended but I've seen that look too many times. Especially from these four.

"I thought you liked her." Taemin said giving me a confused look.

"Yah! I don't like her. I'm just trying to get her to like me."

"And how is ignoring her going to do that." Key asked.

"Well I have been bothering her the entire time of last week. And when I ignore her this week, she'll realize that she miss me bothering her."

"Or be completely grateful that you stopped bothering her." Key said.

"Don’t you guys have that project to do together." Onew brought up.

"We can do it together, but I just won’t talk to her. She’ll think something is wrong then start talking to me but I'll just keep ignoring her. She’ll start to get annoyed then realize that she actually miss me along with realization of her feelings for me."

"That sounds stupid." Key looked at me like I was crazy.

"Then you obviously don’t know how to get a girl-"

"There's Na Na!" shouted Taemin.

"She looks so sad." Onew was right.

"See?  it's only been 2 days and she already misses me like crazy." I chuckled.

"Get your ego checked would you? It’s obviously something more." Key said. I was about to reply his snot comment but Na Na fell to the ground, perhaps injurded?

"Yah! Watch where you're going next time." I warned her as I help her up.

"Yeah." She started to turn around to leave. She was being weird and kept avoiding looking me in the eyes. I glared a little and forced her face to mine.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked in suspicion.

"Just please let go." Na Na struggled, trying to get out of my grasp but lastly failed.

"Just tell me what's wrong."

 "Why do you care?" Why do I care? I don’t even know why I helped her up.

"Are you wearing make up?"I asked when I saw the poorly done makeup. I've seen tons of girls with it and that is definitely not how it's put on.

"I always wear make up."

"No you don’t."

"How do you know that?"

"I-I don't, but I do now." I smartly replied. I hope she stops questioning me as I am seconds away from being declared a stalker/weirdo.

"Whatever… Can’t a girl feel pretty every once in a while." Na Na snapped. I really doubt that was the case. Then another reason crept into my mind, making my eyes widen in worries.

"D-Did someone hit you?" I questioned her more, really hoped this wasn’t the case.

"What? No, I just pulled an all-nighter and wanted to hide the dark circles. Can you let go now?" Na Na yelled at me in annoyance. I was convinced and so i let go. I lossened my grasp but thighten it again when another question creeped into mind.

"Then why do you look so depressed?"

"Just tired! Let go!" Na Na snapped and forcefully tried pulling away. I let go and she just stormed into the school without another look back.

Na Na's POV

After half the day was finally over with, I made my locker with less of a frown. I wasabout to close my lcoker but someone came behind me and nudged my arm.

"Oh… Taemin… Hi!" I tried my best to smile and act as I do every other day.

"You okay?" He asked with worry.

"Yeah, just tired."

"Oh. Well let me walk you to class!" Taemin pulled me along and talked as he always does.

"Na Na!" I looked up and saw Key sitting next to me.

"Oh… Hey." I fake smiled.

"You okay?"

"Why is everyone asking me that?" I sighed without another word. Before Key said anything else, class began. 

The day went by and before I knew it, I was already getting my things from my locker.

"We should work on the project." a voice came from behind, scaring me a little.

"We don't need to because I finished." I said quickly so I’d be able to leave.

"Without me? Why'd you do that?"

"You were the one that went on a date every day for the past week so I had to do something!" I told him and turned to leave.

"You asked me on Saturday morning if we could work on it and I said no. Which can only mean you either finished on Sunday or your lying. I really doubt you've done it in one day. Ha! I'm smarter than you think!"

"Well I did finish it in one day." I turned to leave.

"Is that why you pulled an all-nighter yesterday?" He grabbed my hand keeping me from walking away.

"Let go! Why are you always man handling me like this? Is it my fault that your always so busy?"

"I was going to do it with you this week."

"How am I suppose to know if you would be free again. Why do you care so much anyways? Less work for you!" I retorted and Jonghyun just bit his lips, thinking of something else to say. Why is he making such a big deal about this? It's annoying really.

"I just-" Jonghyun began.

"If you feel bad then buy me food!" I interrupted when I noticed Khun in the back.

"Are you asking me out?" He chuckled and I rolled my eyes. I just need something to keep me from going up to Khun.

"I need a distraction."

"Close enough."

"Should we go then?" I asked, urging him to get going. Jonghyun smiled, grabbed my hand and took me to his car. He opened his car door and pushed me in without a word from me.

"May I ask why you need a distraction?" Jonghyun asked after starting the car.

"I’d prefer if you didn’t. Talking about it defeats the entire purpose of why I got in this car with you."

"So where to?" He asked, getting the message.

"Anywhere."

"You'd really trust me? A dinosaur to take you anywhere?" he teased, andI couldn’t help but chuckle.

"Well I did get in the car with you. Plus, you can’t be worse than a guy I do know. Unless you’re a ."

"Does it even make sense for someone like me to you?"

"You're the one who lead me to your car."

"Only because I felt bad about the project thing! And you asked!"

"You agreed!" We became silent and he concentrated on the road.

"You followed! But is it a guy problem? You know getting under someone is the best way to get over someone else." Jonghyun bit his lip after the moment of silence.

"That sounds weird and really erted. What happened to 'it doesn't make sense for someone like me to you'?"

"Well that is unless your asking for it."

"Your disgusting." I couldn’t help but laugh.

"But it made you laugh." Jonghyun chuckled. I couldn’t help but laugh again at his strange and 4d personality. We stopped in front of a nice restaurant  and followed Jonghyun in. My cheerful mood took a 360 turn when I took notice of the familiar interior.

"Can we go somewhere else?"

"Huh? ...Sure." The look I had on my face probably kept him from arguing with me. Instead of another fancy restaurant, I guided him to a nearby McDonalds.

"Come on? Let's go!" I told him when I saw him in his car, shielding his face.

"Why can't we just go to another restaurant?"

"Are you embarrassed?" 

"Obviously."

"People at our school don’t come here."

"Why do you come here?"

"Well if you haven't noticed, I'm the only one in school who doesn't own a car or have a driver."

"I thought you do that cause you WANTED to look like a commoner."

"Let's just go!" I dragged him in and he was trying his best to cover his face, without the slightest sucess.

We walked up to the girl up front and she was obviously mesmerized by Jonghyun.

"H-how can I help you?" the girl stuttered. I ordered when Jonghyun just looked at me with a bewilded face after I told him it was his turn to order. I just took that as a sign for me to order for him.

"Is that a stay or to go?" the girl asked, still staring at Jonghyun.

"Go." Jonghyun said while I said "stay". We looked at each other and I gave in since I did drag him here.

"Fine. Go." I said in defeat. I was about to get my wallet but he took out his credit card and grabbed our food to leave. I took him to the nearest park and I sat down on the grass. He was still standing so I looked at him with my what-are-you-doing look.

"I don’t want my pants dirty." Jonghun tsked and looked around, trying to find an empty bench. I took his hand and dragged him down on the grass.

"YUM!" I said as I took out the food. I gave him his bag and he took it.

"You know this is the first time I'm eating this kind of food." He smelled it before taking a bite of his fries.

"How is it?"

"No wonder it was so cheap."

"More for me!" I was about to take his bag before he reached out and took it back.

"I paid! Eat your own food."

After we finished, I got him to get us some ice cream. Here I am, sitting on one of the swings waiting for ice cream. It was already nighttime and I was still out with him… I should text my mom. After texting my mom, Jonghyun came back with a bag of ice cream.

"Why'd you get so much?"

"You didn't tell me what you wanted so I just got everything."

"You could have called and asked."

"Buying everything was easier." Jonghyun stated and sat next to me on one of the swings. Jonghyun just took whatever from the bag while I rummaged for a mint chocolate chip. We unwrapped our ice cream without exchanging any words whatsoever. I looked up into the empty sky and swinging back a little so all I would see was dark blue.

Being out here, is really helping me clear my mind. I realized something. I will not mourn over Khun like I did today. What is doing of that going to get me?
