Crazy dance by the "Kim Do siblings" XD

Chapter 38

After the basketball game Amber, Aron, Luna and Byunghun walked back inside.

"Hah!" Amber exclaimed with a big grin and threw herself on the couch. Aron and Byunghun sat down gloomy across from her. "I told you I would win!"

"It was only with 2 points!" Byunghun said back, though kind of weakly.

"So what? We still won," Luna said with a smirk, sitting next to Amber with her feet on the cushion.

"But only because you had my parents on your team," Aron said. Amber just stuck out her tongue at him.

Then Taehyung and Junhong came running into the living room.

"You want to play with us?" Taehyung asked with a grin when he stood in front of his older cousins.

"No, sorry," Luna replied without considering it for long.

"How about you, hyung?" Taehyung asked Aron. He hesitated, not wanting to get the younger kids sad.

"What would we be playing then?" he asked.

"Anything you want to!" Taehyung exclaimed with a smile and spread out his arms, indicating all the options they could choose from.

"But what do you want to play?" Aron asked.

"What you want to play."

"I don't really have any ideas, Taehyung," Aron answered apologetically.

"You can play with us!" Minki, Jonghyun and Changjo came inside the house and went over to their cousins in the living room. "I have a great idea!" Minki said.

"Really? What?" Taehyung asked curiously.

"That's great, then you can play together," Luna said, wanting to get rid of the kids. "You can go to another room and play." Taehyung glared at her, narrow eyed and lips pressed together into a thin line. Luna mirrored his expression and it turned into a glaring competition when she crossed her arms across her chest. Taehyung crossed his arms too and narrowed his eyes further.

"Stop it, guys," Amber said, but neither budged. Then Minki stepped closer to Taehyung, leaned in and blew air in his eyes. Taehyung blinked and rubbed his eyes with his fists, and Luna just grinned, leaning back satisfied since she had supposedly won the staring contest.

"Stop it, it's no fun!" Minki said and crossed his arms. "We need to play."

"And no boring people allowed!" Changjo stuck out his tongue at his brother, before he and his friends went to their bedroom and shut the door. Byunghun made a grimace at him, making the remaining people laugh.

"They can be so annoying sometimes," Luna said and the others agreed.

"Lucky for you, you don't have any siblings." Amber motioned to Aron with a nod by her head.

He shrugged. "Sometimes I wish I did." The others looked questioningly at him. "It can get really lonely sometimes." The three nodded as they seemed to understand what he meant, and secretly thanked for their younger siblings.

The door to the kids' bedroom reopened and Jonghyun stepped out, making his older cousins look at him.

"I need to get Ji Yong hyung," he explained at the stares. Then he ran outside and down the small hill. A few moments later he came back, alone, and he hurried inside his bedroom again, awkwardly aware that the four were looking at him. They knew that Ji Yong had - obviously - rejected him and couldn't help but laugh after he'd closed the door behind him.

"Where are your cousins?" Baekhyun asked, as he, Kyungsoo and Zitao came into the living room from the kitchen. Amber looked up at him.

"Your son and his friends are doing something secretly in their bedroom," she replied. Baekhyun raised his eyebrows.

"Like what?" Kyungsoo asked. Amber just shrugged.

"We don't know," Luna answered.

"Because apparently we're boring," Byunghun said.

"Well, that's true." Baekhyun nodded teasingly and Luna playfully lashed out at him with her arm.

"Where are everyone else?" Zitao asked, looking around at the kids.

Amber shrugged. "I don't know where my parents are, but uncle Yi Fan and some of the others are outside playing basketball."

"I thought you were supposed to play too?" Baekhyun said.

"Yeah, but we finished our game, and the others wanted to continue," Luna said.

"We won!" Amber told them with a grin and Aron glared at her.

Kyungsoo went over to Chanhee, who was sitting alone by the table. He was still in the middle of his puzzle.

"How's it going?" Kyungsoo asked him and sat down on a chair next to him. "You're doing puzzles?" Chanhee nodded.

"Yeah, and I would have been done by now, if Jonghyun and Minki hadn't ruined it," he said, a bit grudgingly.

"Jonghyun and Minki ruined it?"

Chanhee nodded again. "Yeah, they wanted to play with me, but then ended up pushing the pieces on the floor and messing up my finished part. They even wrinkled the picture on some of the pieces. Look!" Chanhee showed him the piece that Jonghyun had pressed down on.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Chanhee. Should I talk to them?" Kyungsoo offered apologetically.

Chanhee shook his head. "No, it's okay, uncle Kyungsoo. My appa has already lessoned them."

Sohee and the two young girls came inside, dolls in their hands. Namjoo walked over to the chair Kyungsoo was sitting on and lifted up her arms for him to pick her up to sit on his lap. He smiled and did as she wanted.

"What are you doing?" Namjoo asked Chanhee and looked at the puzzle on the table.

"Puzzles," Chanhee said, as if it was not already obvious.

"Where's Jonghyun?" Namjoo turned to her papa.

"Amber told me that they were in their bedroom," Kyungsoo replied.

"What are they doing?" Hayoung asked from the floor. Kyungsoo shrugged.

"I don't know. You can go ask them," he suggested. Hayoung and Namjoo nodded, and Namjoo jumped down on the floor again before the girls ran to the boys' bedroom and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Minki's voice was heard.

"Me and Hayoung!" Namjoo yelled back. The bystanders couldn't help but giggle at the girl's scream. A while later - probably due to the boys' discussion within - the door got opened and the girls hurried inside before the door closed yet again. The parents and cousins shook their heads amused at the youngest kids' secrets.

Some hours later the kids came out of the bedroom. They found the others outside in the sun where they were playing soccer all together.

"We have something to show you!" Taehyung called out.

"Appa, eomma, stop the game!" Minki demanded. Jongdae turned to the kids.

"We'll be done in a few minutes. Can you wait until then?"

The seven kids nodded - some more reluctant than others - and sat down to look at their parents and siblings and cousins play the game. Some minutes went by. Taehyung and Junhong were picking grass straws from the ground, throwing them at Changjo with laughs, and Changjo luckily found it funny as well. Minki was lying on his side, taking a little nap or something alike. And Jonghyun, Namjoo and Hayoung were paying attention to the game, Namjoo and Jonghyun slightly more interested than Hayoung, who looked bored.

"Yes!" Chanyeol yelled with a grin as he scored between Zitao's legs. Zitao looked dumbfounded down at his feet where the ball had been a few seconds before.

"We won!" Jongdae grinned, throwing his fist in the air before putting an arm around Chanyeol's shoulder in a victory dance.

"Zitao!" Baekhyun went over to where the goal was supposed to be. "How could you miss that ball? It was right in front of you!"

"It wasn't my fault!" Zitao argued. "You could've just kicked the ball yourself." Baekhyun made a face at him.

"And I won over you again!" Amber grinned and pointed at Aron who just glared at her.

"Shut up!" he said. She stuck out her tongue.

"Appa!" Minki whined and stood up to go tug on Joonmyun's shirt. "We need to show you something."

"Okay, what is it, Minki?" Joonmyun asked with a smile. Minki's face lit up and he tugged on his appa's shirt.

"Something inside," he said, trying to pull Joonmyun with him.

"Can't we do it outside, Minki? It's such good weather." Minki shook his head with a slight pout.

"It's okay, Minki, we can do it outside," Jonghyun reassured and patted Minki's shoulder. Minki pouted a bit more, before giving in with a reluctant nod.

"What is it that you want to show us?" Taemin asked with a smile to the kids.

"Okay, is everybody listening?" Taehyung looked around at everyone, before he began his introduction. "We have prepared something for you," he said excitedly. "Sit down!" The parents and older cousins did as was told.

"So," Jonghyun began directed to the adults. "You are idols - well, you were - and you sing and dance, so we have prepared one of your songs for you." The parents looked excitedly at each other and at their kids, anticipating what they were about to show them.

"It was uncle Minseok's idea." Minki pointed at Minseok who smiled.

"Wait, you knew what they were doing?" Baekhyun turned to him. Minseok just nodded as he didn't know they had all been curious of what the kids were doing behind the closed door.

"And we found this phone and we used it to practice with." Jonghyun showed them a phone with a slight shrug, before he turned it on, flipping through it to find the song again.

"Hey, that's my phone!" Taemin suddenly exclaimed. Kai just sent him a glare that clearly said, "of course it is."

"You didn't have any password to unlock it?" Baekhyun asked him disbelieving and Taemin shook his head.

"Okay, you ready?" Jonghyun asked when he had found the song. The parents and cousins all nodded. Then he pressed play and the kids quickly found their places as Growl played through the speaker of the phone. The parents couldn't help but smile even more, sharing looks with one another, as the memories came back and they watched the performance by their kids.

First there was Taehyung. He was dancing to Growl, apparently making up some of his own dance moves too, as he was swirling at times they were not supposed to, but with the biggest grin on his face, making Baekhyun and Chanyeol smile at each other while they were watching him.

Minki was dancing concentrated to the song, but also with some of his own moves included. His way of moving had not been seen before on either of his parents and he definitely had not inherited their 'dancing skills'. Minki knew how to move his whole body - for a five-year-old - and even seemed like he did not need his 'backup dancers'.

Then there was Namjoo. She was doing the dance properly, but with slightly exaggerated movements and like she was in her own world. It was clear to anyone that she was having much fun.

Jonghyun was kind of like his sister, doing some exaggerated movements - probably for laughs - but also concentrated on keeping up with the others, as he was dancing to Growl greatly. Jongdae had a big smile on his face, looking at his kids and thinking they must have taken it after him to be so great dancers.

Hayoung, Changjo and Junhong were the only ones really doing the choreography properly, being perfect little wolves. Changjo and Junhong were in sync dancing side by side and though the two didn't talk much, it was clear that they really liked dancing and felt comfortable in that element. Hayoung was keeping up, being concentrated and hardworking, but also smiling and being a cute little pup as well.

When the kids were done dancing to Growl the parents and cousins applauded excitedly.

"That was so good!" Chanyeol exclaimed as Taehyung walked over to sit on his lap. He kissed his forehead and hugged him tightly, and Taehyung were sitting with a big smile on his face. Baekhyun leaned in as well and kissed him on the cheek, applauding him, too.

"That was really good!" Taemin hugged Changjo.

"My son is a dancer! That's amazing!" Jongin said with twinkles in his eyes.

"Of course he's amazing. He was already amazing before we saw him dance," Taemin said and kissed Changjo's head. "Nevertheless, it's also okay if they don't choose that path, right Jongin?" His voice was stern, almost as if he was indicating something for Jongin to understand.

"Oh, sure! Of course!" Jongin exclaimed, getting back to reality. He looked at Byunghun, who was sitting next to Taemin and paying attention to everything that was being said. "But I know you've got some sweet moves as well, Byunghun." Jongin winked at his other son and Byunghun smiled. Taemin rolled his eyes, but couldn't help but smile.

"How long did you practice that?" Taeyeon asked Minki.

He shrugged. "Some hours," he said and sat down on Joonmyun's lap.

"Well, it was really good," Joonmyun said. Minki smiled proudly.

"You two!" Zitao exclaimed with a smile as he embraced his kids. "You're so good!"

"Yeah," Sehun agreed with a smile too. "It took baba some weeks to learn that dance, but you managed it within some hours." Zitao looked away from the kids to glare at his husband, but Sehun ignored him with a grin and instead kept on talking to Junhong and Hayoung. "It was really good!"

With that said, Baekhyun and Jongdae stood and went inside the house as they promised the kids something. A little later they came back outside with a plastic bag. The kids couldn't see the content, but excitedly rose from their seating positions, creating a little circle around the two adults, eyes focused on the bag.

"What is it?" Namjoo asked curiously and Baekhyun and Jongdae laughed.

"It's a surprise," Baekhyun said.

"Why don't you start, Namjoo. Put your hand down the bag and take one," Jongdae told her and she hesitantly went closer, closed her eyes and took down her hand to grab at the content. Then her eyes widened and opened in a laugh.

"Ice cream!" she exclaimed and pulled out a popsicle covered in plastic. The kids around her smiled excitedly and went closer, all putting their hands down the bag and each pulling out a popsicle, while Baekhyun and Jongdae grinned. The older kids still sat on the grass, eyes focused on their happy younger cousins, while looking slightly envious.

"Come on!" Jongdae said to them, and they looked up at him. "You can get one too!" They immediately brightened up and went to get a popsicle.

"What about us?" Joonmyun pouted teasingly.

"None for you, hyung, but for everyone else," Baekhyun said jokingly, and while everyone else laughed, Joonmyun sent him a glare.
