Let’s Have A Deal

“Hey Taeng! We didn’t think that you’ll be joining us sooner!”

Taeyeon gave her other bestfriend Sooyoung a gentle pat in the shoulder before sitting in between her and Jessica.

“That’s right, actually Soo and I made a bet if you’ll just suddenly drag Tiffany away from there and take her somewhere faraway from here.”

“Yeah and by the way who is that Tiffany you haven’t told me anything about her? She so pretty!”

Taeyeon’s eyes widened at what Jessica and Sooyoung has just told her.

“Is that really Tiffany? I really need to take a second look at her because I almost didn’t recognize her and boy! She really has changed so much! And I didn’t know that she was invited here tonight.”

Taeyeon kept acting nonchalant towards Jessica and Sooyoung, she’s afraid that she’ll suddenly burst if she’ll continue to talk to them about Tiffany.

“Yuri probably tagged her as her plus one. But… Yuri still not here and she came with that Andrew guy…”

“What?!”

Taeyeon flinched when she heard her sister slightly loud shriek.

“Geez Sica… actually I don’t know, I asked her to go with me but she told me that she can’t because she has some stuffs to do already.”

Taeyeon let out a sigh when she just realized that Tiffany obviously lied to her just to avoid her.

“Can we just stop talking about her… please?”

Taeyeon felt Sooyoung nudging her and when she turn her head towards her, her friend was already giving her a glass of champagne.

“Here, drink this, it can somehow loosen you up a bit.”

“Thanks, Soo.”

When Taeyeon finally take a sip, she turned around towards the direction she came from a couple of minutes ago and saw that the three persons she left there were still talking. And she couldn’t help but to let out another sigh.

“Let’s go Sica… let’s greet some of your mother’s guest before we hit the night. Soo, can you wait for us, we won’t take long just half an hour max and we’ll come right back to fetch you.”

“Okay! I’ll just go and eat for a while. Just don’t forget me, okay?!”

Taeyeon and Jessica went around the crowd of guest and tried to have some small talk with them. When they felt that they already done their part, they decided to just head back to the bar where they left Sooyoung alone.

Especially now that Taeyeon was starting to feel more irritated due to some guys that vulgarly flirting with either her or her sister and Taeyeon couldn’t help but feel her over-protectiveness to her sister strike out of her again.

They were finally back to the bar with Sooyoung and was lightly talking about random stuffs when her eyes darted back to that direction again.

Taeyeon’s face immediately darkened when she saw that Tiffany was being closely held yet again by another pair of arms.

‘And that Andrew guy is not enough and now this! Damn it!’

Taeyeon never felt this much urge to hurt someone, especially if that someone she wanted to hurt so badly turns out to be her bestfriend.

‘Yah! Kwon Yuri! Stop wrapping your arms around my Miyoung’s shoulder! Or else I’m going to cut them off of your body!’

Taeyeon could feel her blood boiling to the extent that she felt her body slightly trembling and the sight of Yuri smiling sweetly at Tiffany was enough to tip her off over the edge.

“Hey brat, can you do me a favor, please? And if you manage to do it, you can ask me anything within my power and I’ll give it to you.”

Jessica instantly turns around to face Taeyeon when she heard the latter called her. She was also quite shock that Taeyeon called her in that pet name.

Taeyeon and the rest of their brothers only call her like that when they wanted her to act like a total ice princess to drive away all the unwanted girls that pestering them.

‘Strange… it’s been a while since Taengoo asked me to do something like this… but come to think of it, this is actually the first…’
